Arginine Cardio Overview

A lot of the supplements we look at use L-Arginine as one of their primary ingredients.

That’s because it’s long been accepted that increased nitric oxide makes your workouts better, and l-arginine helps cause that increase you need.

But what about L-Arginine and for overall better health?

The idea is gaining some traction, and a supplement called Arginine Cardiois potentially ready to lead the way.

Let us get a little closer and take a look at Arinine Cardio, what it’s made out of and how it works.

Arginine Cardio ReviewWhat is Arginine Cardio?

Arginine Cardio was developed by Dr. Rainer Boger to be the only pharmaceutical grade l-arginine/l-citrulline supplement to give you high nitric oxide levels all day, every day.

While most NO pre workout supplements boost your levels just before your workout so you get the benefits while you need them for building muscle, Arginine Cardio boosts levels all day so you get its cardiovascular benefits all day long.

And the benefits can be many. Nitric Oxide is a vasodilator.

It relaxes blood vessel walls so more blood can flow more freely through your body.

It also signals the cardiovascular system to repair itself, cleaning plaque from arteries so blood flows even more freely.

When your system doesn’t have to work so hard to move blood throughout, there are a number of benefits like:

  • Decreased blood pressure.
  • Better, more restful sleep.
  • Harder erections.
  • More effective weight loss.
  • Decreased joint pain from arthritis.

Arginine Cardio Ingredients and How They Work

The primary ingredient in Arginine Cardio is of course L-Arginine, which is an amino acid that converts to nitric oxide in the body.

What’s different about Arginine Cardio is the amount and what it’s combined with.

The Arginine dose is pretty high (it’s measured in grams, not milligrams), but more important is the fact that it also contains the best ratio of l-arginine to l-citrulline to make the increase in nitric oxide last all day.

The formula is then rounded out with some antioxidants as well as vitamins and minerals to support overall health and body processes.

Arginine Cardio Pros and Cons

Advantages of Arginine Cardio

  • The scientifically studied formula contains the appropriate ratio of l-arginine to l-citrulline to provide an all day NO increase.
  • You can take fewer doses to achieve the same results as other products, making it cheaper.
  • There are lots of positive testimonials on the Arginine Cardio website.
  • It’s less expensive than some of the other options.

Disadvantages of Arginine Cardio

  • There doesn’t appear to be a money back guarantee.
  • It’s not a substitute for seeking medical attention for heart and/or cardiovascular symptoms.

Where to Buy

You can purchase Arginine Cardio through the official website.

A single bottle sells for $59.95, but if you buy 3 or 6 jars at a time, you’ll get a $10 discount on each bottle.

Conclusion

If you’re looking for a daily NO boosting supplement for overall health and cardiovascular wellness, Arginine Cardio is a good pick. The only drawback I really see is that there’s no stated money back guarantee.

So if you’ve got $60 to try on a new supplement, Arginine Cardio may be worth the try.

It has several ingredients that contribute to all around good health in general, so it serves as a good part of a dietary regimen on its own without the workout benefits that it provides.

Best product out there

By Gary,  May 6, 2016

This supplement offers 6 grams total between Arginine and citrulline on a 2:1 ratio daily, along with several other fantastic ingredients, including Taurine, Carnitine, curcumin, ubiquinol, resveratrol, ect. Citrulline is more expensive than arginine so this product costs more to produce.  However, the 2:1 ratio is what makes this product work better, and there is top research behind the superior ratios of this product. Do oyur own due diligence because it would be a shame if a better product exists and you let it get by you.

When I purchased this product I went with a six month supply.  The reason I did so was because I had my homework and after finding out the ratio used as being 2:1 I went to GNC and bought enough citrulline to try my own 2:1 and guess what! It works much better.  I respect Bob Weeks and the product he has developed with Doctor Borge. Out of this respect I decided to purchase a 6 month supply, even though I could have continued with my own mix.  I didn't give much thought to the other ingredients at the time, thinking they were just good "extra" ingredients to help round out the product. Ingredients that probably didn't add much to the power of the 2:1 ratio of Arginine and Citrulline.  The most interesting and impressive thing that occured over the 6 month use of argininecardio was the vast improvement or should I say elimination of my PVCs (premature ventricular contractions) I did more research on the other products in the argininecardio product and now believe it offers much more than just the benefits that come from Arginine and Citrulline. My cardiologist has no answer to my improvement other than to say earlier results must have been wrong.  Crazy saying this because how can he not admit my echo cardiogram showed problems that are now not showing on a recent echo, and my PVCs are non existent. This being after he initially recommended a catheterization to determine what was wrong.  I'm glad I refused his recommendation. I am just one case, but my case IS real!  Like I said do the homework and then decide. I suspect it will make all the difference in the world.

Inferior Product

By Wendy,  Jan 26, 2016

I bought this to replace Proargi9 since the company who had supplied me with it developed it to be "far superior" to the original. Don't believe it.  My husband's test results showes no difference at all, while woth the Proargi9 the results were measurably superior. Additionally they stand by their product while the Arginine Cardio people do nothing.  The pal who introduced me to Proagri9 has had exactly the same experience!

Long time user

By michael delabre,  Nov 23, 2016

I have been taking arginine cardio for over 2 years, will take it forever. Just overall health has improved, blood pressure down, don't need medicine anymore, erections are vastly better, too much benefits to list.

User Questions and Answers

You state that the Arginine dose is high. How do you know that since the amount is not listed on the label? My understanding is that the recommended daily minimum of L-Arginine is 5mg. The producers of Ariginine Cardio argue that it is the ratio of L-Arginine to L-Citrulline that is important, not the amount. I believe the two scoops of Arginine Cardio will have less than the recommended 5mg, but hopefully you can help on this information and if the ratio argument is valid. Thank you for your work. -Doug

It's true we don't know the exact dose, but according to the information I found, it's measured in grams, not milligrams. So it will far exceed the minimum daily dose of 5mg that you cite, though according to the Mayo Clinic, there are many different dosage recommendations depending on your circumstances.- Rob

  1. I was diagnosed as having Congestive Heart Failure that results in Pulmonary Edema. Will L-Arginine Cardio stop the edema and cure the problem?

    1. Hey Joel,
Like all supplements, Arginine Cardio is not designed to cure any diseases or ailments like that. Can it help to lessen the effects?

Possibly, but I would speak to your doctor before taking any supplement, especially this one.
  2. What is the latest ratio of Arginine to Citrulline ?
Is there any human clinical trial done for CVD using Arginine Cardio ?

    1. Hey Darshan,

They don’t reveal their ratio, but it’s less than 3 to 1. I’m not aware of any clinical trials on the product.
