DG Health Sleep Aid Overview
It’s not unusual to have a little trouble falling asleep occasionally.
In fact, the problem is so pervasive there are probably hundreds of home remedies passed down from generation to generation over hundreds and even thousands of years.

DG Health Sleep Aid Ingredients and How They Work
The chief active ingredient in DG Health Sleep Aid is 25mg of Diphenhydramine HCl .
Basically, it’s an antihistimine like you’d find in the Benadryl you use to fight allergy symptoms.
It’s also very similar to the motion sickness ingredient in Dramamine, and it’s used in some treatments for Parkinson’s Disease.
In addition to its other uses, Diphenhydramine HCl is used in DG Health Sleep Aid and other over-the-counter sleep aid formulas for occasional use at bed time when needed.
The recommended dose for adults and children over 12 is 2 caplets.
DG Health Sleep Aid Side Effects
The dose is relatively low, so side effects are mild.
Of course, they include sleepiness, but that’s what you’re looking for. It may also cause slight dizziness .
Because of its tendency to cause drowsiness, you won’t want to drink alcohol, drive, or operate machinery while taking DG Health Sleep Aid.
According to Drugs.com, if you want to take DG Health Sleep Aid and you have any of the following conditions, you should consult your doctor:
- Digestive tract blockage.
- Bladder obstruction or other urination issues.
- A colostomy.
- Liver or kidney disease.
- Asthma, COPD, or other breathing disorder.
- Heart disease.
- Cough with mucus or chronic bronchitis.
- Thyroid disorder
- If you take potassium.
- If you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
Generally, it is recommended that if your symptoms don’t improve within 7 days, you should see your doctor about possible causes.

There is always that possibility when you allow yourself to fall into a deep sleep. But as far as I know, there's nothing in this pill that specifically causes this.- Rob
