Frequently Asked Questions

Recommendation

Like a lot of people, I get my news from Yahoo.

The other day I was scrolling through the 400 stories about Trump when I came across this ad…

synbiotic 365 ad on yahoo

I’ve never been a big fan of vegetables to begin with, but it sparked my curiosity.

I clicked on the ad and it took me to a video sales page that looked something like this…

video sales page for synbiotic 365

Yup, it’s a sales video for a product called Synbiotic 365.

Now, I hate these things for a few reasons.

  1. I’d rather just read an article about something, rather than watch a video on the topic.
  2. Usually videos like this are long-winded and “salesy.”
  3. All-too-often they’re click-bait and a HUGE waste of time.

Sales videos like Synbiotic 365 are often just click bait

However, I decided in the interest of my visitors that I would sit through the whole thing.

Here’s what I found…

Gut health.

It’s a BIG problem in today’s society.

And a fella by the name of Dr. Vincent Pedre narrates the epidemic.

You see, turns out a lot of problems start in our gut.

Our “gut flora” plays a key role in keeping us healthy.

In this “internal garden,” we have good bacteria and bad bacteria.

Dr. Pedre says “When the bad bacteria takes over, your gut becomes a war zone.”

Synbiotic 365 seeks to restore the gut by adding good bacteria to your gut flora
Image: youtube.com

This doctor, who claims to be New York’s leading gut health authority, blasts certain vegetables (one in particular) for wreaking havoc on our bodies.

He says “odds are you’ve eaten this in the last 5 days.” And of course, the discovery will upset us, as it’s nothing short of “shocking.” This dramatic build-up goes on for 25 minutes before he actually shares this forbidden vegetable.

Which is…

Corn.

Dr. Pedre, the maker of Synbiotic 365 claims that corn is bad for gut health
Image: organicfacts.net

Yup, corn.

Looks tasty to me.

But because corn is doused with endless pesticides, Dr. Pedre says it’s become a “gut disruptor.” And the solution?

Synbiotic 365.

Eating foods doused in pesticides can cause everything from nausea, diarrhea and vomiting, to abdominal pain and dizziness.

Before we dive deeper into Synbiotic 365, let’s talk more about probiotics and their importance to our health.

1. What are Probiotics, Prebiotics, and Synbiotics?

Probiotics, prebiotics, and synbiotics are good for gut health and constipations
Image: https://www.vitamonk.com

Alright, let’s break this down real quick. Here’s what you need to know…

  1. According to WebMD, Probiotics are“live bacteria and yeasts that are good for you, especially your digestive system.” Probiotics are often found naturally in foods (like yogurt) and we can safely take them as supplements.Source
  2. Prebiotics are typically high-fiber foods that are taken to “feed” the probiotics, and they help to maintain the balance of gut bacteria. Source
  3. And finally, Synbiotics are foods or supplements that combine both probiotics and prebiotics in a sort of “synergism.” These are taken to “selectively stimulate the growth and by activating the metabolism of one or a limited number of health-promoting bacteria, thus improving host welfare.” Source

All together, these “biotics” promote overall integrative health.

Boom!

That’s your crash course in Pro- Pre- and Synbiotics.

2. What is Synbiotic 365?

Synbiotic 365 was created by the company United Naturals to help restore gut health.

The sales video and advertisement link to the company’s website, but there really isn’t much information about the product listed on the site.

Here’s what it does say…

United Naturals Synbiotic 365

Of course, poor gut-health can leave us suffering with a host of symptoms.

But the Synbiotic 365 video really hones in on one symptom in particular: obesity caused by overeating.

It’s the pain-point of SO many Americans.

It’s true… if you can speak to our weight-gain, and convince us you have the solution, then you’re pretty much guaranteed to get rich.

Synbiotic 365 leverages the pain point of obesity and weight loss
Image: thriveglobal.com

So naturally, Synbiotic 365 really focuses on the weight-loss benefits of their product. But does it really work?

And if so, how?

To answer that, let’s have a look at the ingredient profile.

3. What are the ingredients in Synbiotic 365?

Synbiotic 365 is loaded with vitamins, which is never a bad thing.

But if you wanted a vitamin, you’d go buy a vitamin. You’re here for the biotics.

As for the Probiotic Blend, it contains 30 billion CFU.

Look, I might not be the leading-authority on gut health and probiotics… but I’m a pretty smart guy, so I’ve done the research and here’s what you should know about CFU’s, or “colony forming units.”

Probiotics like Synbiotic 365 are measured in CFU, or colony forming unit

Alright, so Synbiotic 365 contains 3 billion of these guys in one serving (1 capsule), which should be more than plenty for your needs.

And the probiotic blend consists of the following good bacteria:

  • Lactobacillus acidophilus
  • Bifidobacterium lactis
  • Lactobacillus paracasei
  • Lactobacillus plantarum
  • Lactobacillus casei
  • Lactobacillus reuteri
  • Lactobacillus salivarius
  • Lactobacillus rhamnosus
  • Streptococcus thermophilus
  • Bifidobacterium bifidum
  • Bifidobacterium longum
  • Saccharomyces boulardii

4. Does Synbiotic 365 work?

And now… the moment of truth.

Does this supplement work to radically improve your mood, aide in digestion, help you to get better sleep, melt away those unwanted pounds, AND deliver on the handful of other benefits it promises?

The short answer is “Maybe.”

Does Synbiotic 365 work for better gut health?
Image: https://massolutions.biz

Hear me out…

First off, according to one study, “Probiotics, prebiotics and synbiotics have systemic effects on the host’s health metabolism and immune system.” Source

OK, that’s a good start, but what kind of “systemic effects” do they have?

Well, they’ve been found to help with many maladies, including diarrhea, constipation, inflammation, and have even been shown to alleviate symptoms of allergy, cancer, AIDS, and respiratory and urinary tract infections.Source

There are many benefits of probiotics like synbiotic 365
Image: ncbi.nlm.nih.gov

Seems legit.

But what about reversing the effects of obesity and aiding in weight loss?

According to the study above…

“A breakthrough paper published in Nature reported that microbial population present in the gut is different for obese and lean people, and that when obese people lost weight their microflora resembled to that of lean people.

Diets containing high fibers typically have lower degrees of fat and energy density, and helpful for reducing the risk of obesity by promoting satiety and weight loss.”

Probiotics and synbiotics were studied and published in Nature journal
Image: informafrica.com

So it’s true that “the introduction of probiotics, prebiotics, or synbiotics into the human diet is favourable for the intestinal microbiota.” And thus it may help with obesity, along with a number of other conditions.

We can also include on the long list of benefits the potential to “treatirritable bowel syndrome, enteritis, bacterial infections, various gastrointestinal disorders and diarrhoeas… and lactose intolerance.” Source

Finally, one study is even looking at evidence for the use of supplementation with probiotics, prebiotics, or synbiotics “for the prevention and treatment of dermatological diseases in adults.” Source

Some researchers are studying whether or not probiotics, like Synbiotic 365, can help with skin conditions
Image: madermatology.com

Phew! That’s a good handful of scientifically-backed reasons to start using probiotics.

Like yesterday.

However, with all that said…

Synbiotic 365 contains many of the same ingredients as other products sold on the market.

There’s really nothing special about it.

So if you do notice positive results by taking this supplement, you’d likely get the same results by using other synbiotics.

5. Who is Dr. Vincent Pedre?

Dr. Vincent Pedre is the brains behind Synbiotic 365.

Dr. Vincent Pedre is the creator of Synbiotic 365

A graduate of Cornell,Dr. Pedre is New York’s self-proclaimed leading authority on all things gut health. He’s the resident Doctor at United Naturals, and also runs Pedre Integrative Health in NY.

He was even featured on CBS…

[youtube https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oxHmLZWZ6DU?rel=0]

So from what I can tell, Dr. Vincent Pedre is the real deal when it comes to learning how to restore your gut health.

6. User reviews of Synbiotic 365

Reading through user reviews can tell us A LOT about the efficacy of a product, and what to experience while taking it.

Reviews also help to take the edge off the purchase.

Positive reviews = street cred.

Negative reviews = steer clear.

But what happens when there are NO reviews at all?

Synbiotic 365 does not have any user reviews yet
Image: tenor.com

Well, it should cause us to stop and ask some questions.

Is the product brand new? Has anyone even tried it yet? Why isn’t it sold on Amazon?

Was it so bad (or so good!) that people don’t even bother reviewing it?

In my experience, the more positive reviews a product has, the more we can trust it.

With that said, I searched high and low for user reviews of Synbiotic 365, and I came up bone dry.

So if you decide to try this product, just know that it might not be super effective.

synbiotic 365 reviews - kathleen

Her name is Kathleen, and she’s been using it for the last 10 days.

Watch her video review below or scroll down to read more.

[youtube https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hhT9wrfks90]

Here are her thoughts so far:

9/28/18 – Day 1

As a result of being prescribed 5 days of Prednisone combined with a prescription for antibiotics (for a sore throat), I developed a yeast infection in my mouth.

I was then prescribed Nystatin to combat the thrush.

After 28 days on Nystatin the yeast is still there.

It seemed to get a little better while taking the Nystatin, but when I stopped taking the Nystatin it came back.

So, I decided to see if Synbiotic 365 would help with this condition.

Today is my first day of taking this product and so far, I don’t see any difference, but I think it’s too early to tell yet.

Day 2:No noticeable difference regarding my thrush condition or otherwise.

Day 3:Again no noticeable difference in any way.

Day 4:No noticeable difference with the thrush.

As a side note, I do seem to be having more bowel movements than I normally do.

Day 5:Still no noticeable change regarding the thrush.

Day 6: Same as day 5.

Day 7:It seems like that thrush condition might be beginning to lessen slightly.

I don’t notice quite as much of a cotton-like feeling on my tongue and there doesn’t seems to be as much of it on my tongue.

More of a spotty look than a solid covering.

I am not currently taking any other course of action so that I can measure the effectiveness of this product for this condition, except that I do try and stay away from sugar so as not to feed the yeast.

Day 8:Same as yesterday.

Day 9:Same as day 7.

Day 10:I can still see areas of yeast overgrowth on my tongue, especially in the morning, but it does seem to be less noticeable than when I started, especially in terms of that horrible cotton like feel that thrush gives you.

Day 11: Nothing has changed since yesterday.

I still notice areas of yeast on my tongue.

Day 12:Same as day 11

Day 13: Not better or worse for the past several days.

Day 14:Unfortunately I am not noticing any further improvement in my condition.

I am thinking that this may be effective for some other issues but not really for thrush.

I seem to be in a holding pattern where my symptoms are not getting worse, but they are not really getting any better either.

Day 15:I forgot to take the probiotic today, but things seem the same as it has been for about the past week.

Day 16:Still no change

Day 17:Still no change either way.

It seemed to get better up to a point and then stop – but it hasn’t gotten worse.

This product may be better used for maintenance rather than cure.

Overall:Since I don’t really have digestive issues I don’t know how effective it actually is for that, but I think for my purposes it seems like it could only do so much. I did notice some improvement overall, but not a complete eradication of the yeast.

Synbiotic 365 FAQ’s

7. Is it safe to take?

Synbiotic 365 is safe to use
Image: unitednaturals.com

This supplement is safe to take, as it contains mostly vitamins and “good” gut bacteria.

We’ll discuss this more in the “Side Effects” section, but generally speaking, users of probiotics, prebiotics, and synbiotics do not experience any unwanted effects.

8. Where can I buy it?

As far as I know, you can only purchase the supplement from the official United Naturals website.

You can buy Synbiotic 365 from United Naturals website
Image: https://www.unitednaturals.com/

This isn’t really cause for concern, as many companies like the control of only selling their products through their own website.

9. How much is it?

Synbiotic 365 costs $45 per box.And I believe each box comes with 30 capsules.

And the more boxes you buy, the more you save.

Synbiotic 365 price
Image: unitednaturals.com

As far as probiotics go, this price is pretty standard.

10. Is there a guarantee?

Yes, the company offers a 30-day money-back guarantee on the gut health supplement.

Synbiotic 365 comes with a 30-day guarantee

Image: thehealthsite.com

Yes, probiotics make you poop.

If you’re looking for the best probiotic for constipation, I can’t say for sure this is the one, but you might give it a try.

13. Does this probiotic help with yeast infections?

Probiotics may help with yeast infections, but the jury is still out

While some women claim that probiotics help with yeast infections, the jury is still out whether or not probiotics, prebiotics, or synbiotics help to alleviate the symptoms of this type of infection.

Synbiotic 365 probably does not help yeast infections.

14. Recommendations

My personal opinion on Synbiotic 365 has shifted a bit. At first, I was a little concerned about Kathleen’s lack of results.

However, I think that her overall experiment was just way too short to draw any real conclusions.

I plan on testing it out personally soon, and will report my full results here once testing is complete.

In the meantime, if you would like to try out Synbiotic 365 yourself, pick up a a few bottles on their official site here: www.UnitedNaturals.com

I’d also suggest readingthis review on Probiotics Pills Sold in Stores (GNC, Walmart, Walgreens, CVS, and more)

It details some of the more effective probiotics and synbiotics you can find in stores, should you not feel comfortable about buying online for one reason or another.

Have you used this supplement?

"Susan" should really learn to read.

By Kellie R.,  Dec 24, 2018
In Short: I would recommend this to a friend.

I have had really good luck with this product. I like the fact that it is an all in one product, containing prebiotics, probiotics, and vitamin B in one capsule, thus saving me money on buying those same products separately.  It seems you missed out on a lot of what the video was saying. In no way did I get that it was mostly about "weight loss".  And I can say that objectively as I am not really looking to lose weight. This product is also not meant to be a cure for Thrush.  ??? Also, the other person who reviewed? "Susan"?  Well sorry, but for lack of a better term, Susan is a moron. Susan knows she can not tolerate niacin, so she buys a product that clearly contains niacin (it says so right on the package), has to give up the product because of said niacin intolerance, and then unfairly gives the product one star.  On what planet is that legit? I am surprised you even printed that irrelevant and completely unfair so-called "review".  In short, Susan took a product she already knew she should avoid because of her own issues, and then downgrades the product as being "bad". What a joke.  I normally enjoy this site, but I think you, your Thrush victim and especially "Susan" all missed the ball on this one.

Rob Miller:

Hey Kellie,

Yes, you are 100% correct. The issue we were having is, when someone posts a review to the site, I get an email. The email tells me what the person said, what their name is, their email, etc. The one thing it does NOT say is what star rating was assigned. The review was deemed legit, and I approved it.

However, I failed to see the assigned star rating. We're working on it at the moment, and will get all of this fixed shortly.

365 is a great combination product

By Betty A.,  Dec 12, 2018
In Short: I would recommend this to a friend.

I have already been taking this product daily for 3 months and appreciate the fact that it contains a combination of B vitamins and pre and probiotics in one capsule.

Though I didn’t start it for weight loss, I have gradually lost that 10 extra lbs.

I’ve been carrying around for years with no effort, so I’m happy about that.

It Works For Me

By Bruce,  Jan 13, 2019
In Short: I would recommend this to a friend.

For the last year, besides normal acid-reflux, my stomach has been in mild to moderate pain.

My gastroenterologist did not find any ulcers, infections, etc., but the stomach was "irritated".

I tried a few other probiotics previously, but none seemed to make a difference.

However, within a week or two of trying the Symbiotic 365 I noticed my issues were greatly reduced to the point that unless I ate or drank something I know would cause a problem (spicy food, wine - sigh) I usually didn't notice any pain, which not long ago was a daily thing.

I suppose it could be a random coincidence that my issues were reduced around the time I started taking the supplement, but for now I'm assuming otherwise and sticking with this product.

In short, it works.

Some improvement

By Fred,  Mar 3, 2019
In Short: I would recommend this to a friend.

I've been talking Synbiotic 365 for almost a month. I did not buy it for weight loss.  In fact it was sort of the opposite. While I could stand to lose a few pounds, I've been losing about 3 to 5 pounds a week.  My doctor has been at a loss. A couple of years ago I got really bad food poisoning from an Asian restaurant.  The dish had lots of garlic, mushrooms, sesame seeds and peppers in it. Since then, if I eat any of those things, my body reacts as if I have food poisoning again.  But, in the last 3 or 4 months, this reaction has expanded to include almost everything I eat. During the time from then until now, I also had to take a couple of rounds of really strong antibiotics and a month of antifungals.  So I know my intestinal flora and fauna really got whacked.(I'm not HIV positive, I just work in a fairly dangerous environment) I can eat plain boiled chicken, unseasoned organic beef either boiled or slow cooked with butter. I can tolerate steamed or boiled green beans, cabbage, carrots, broccoli.  The only oils I can tolerate are real olive oil (which is a lot harder to find than the labels would lead you to believe) and butter.

Well, since I have been taking Synbiotic 365 my symptoms have improved. Now, while the advertising would have you believe that taking this stuff will solve all your problems, get you your dream job, fix your relationship and allow you to perform a minor miracle after a brief power nap, it won't.  But it has helped me some, and I was getting desperate. The nausea has reduced in severity.  Abdominal pain has been reduced. Having to run to the bathroom before I even finish my meal hasn't happened in two weeks.  And, I haven't had diarrhea this week.

They Work a Lot Better Then my last Probiotics

By Raven,  Feb 10, 2019
In Short: I would recommend this to a friend.

I felt the probiotics were very helpful with all that they indicate they provide support for as a probiotic.

Also:

Why in the heck are all of you putting one star if you like the product and it helps? That makes no sense.

And..  Susan, why would you take it if you have an intolerance to niacin. He clearly states that all pills are packed in niacin capsules... most of these reviews and the video review about yeast is nonsense.  And totally unrelated to what the product even does. This is a supplement for yeast care, but not a treatment.

Research probiotics and what they do before you rate it on something unrelated.  Sheesh.

  1. I have big trouble swallowing large pills, and have to either break a big one up, or open soft capsules. I will presume that breaking these up before swallowing will damage the probiotics, so how big are these pills?

An appoximate measurement would do to know if I can take them as designed. Thanks.

    1. The things I do for you guys…see the image below:

      synbiotic 365 pill

As you can see, they’re huge. With that said, I don’t think if you break the capsule open and dump it / mix in a glass of water it will disrupt its effectiveness.

      1. It says in the video that they are formulated to remain intact until reaching the lower gut where their absorption is most effective. Opening the capsule would render the biotics exposed to the acids of the stomach and early absorption.

        Not a good idea!
    2. I think you should ask this from customer care at the company itself versus someone who blogs opinions about supplements.
      1. In the blog by DR Pedre, it states that these capsules are time released and break up in the intestine rather than the stomach. I would not open them before swallowing them.

  2. For a condition it does not claim to treat. How about a review from someone diagnosed with IBS, SIBO and/or leaky gut, which is the main target audience for this product?

  3. Has anyone who’s tried the Synbiotic 365 got psoriasis?
I recently caught strep throat and shingles (at the exact same time), was treated with penicillin, had an (mental and physical) allergic reaction to it, and now my psoriasis is different. Where it was before, it spread, and now have a new form that has left me covered in tiny spots.

My whole body feels raw, itchy and burns like I touched a hot stove.
On top of this i have (diagnosed 2012) Celiac disease, asthma, fibromayalgia, and now my one Dr tells me I’m dying of Lyme Disease.

I need help. Glad I checked in here before ordering, as I’m not convinced this will help me based on lack of reviews.
I was always athletic growing up, into everything, and now I have no energy for anything and am obese (though I’ve been told I hold my weight well), I’m always bloated, and brain fog has me in a mess.

Won’t go into gory details, but can’t be far from a toilet, and hardly eat anything because my body rejects nearly everything I put into it. I’m always hungry, but ignore the signs for fear of getting sicker.

    Nauseous all the time.
Drs took me off work 2 years ago, so I’m on very limited income and can’t waste money on something that might not help me when I can not even afford groceries at this point.
I’m only 37 years old and feel I’m ready to be done here on Earth.
The struggle is real, as the kids say..
Thanks in advance, for any advice you offer!

    1. Hi Jen:
Just read your story and wanted to know if anyone replied back to you about the supplements and if they worked for you. Pray you’re feeling better.

      Kathy
    2. Hi Jen, My sister had a friend whose kid had really bad psoriasis. They couldn’t even give her a bath without causing it to flair up.

They had good results from Melaleuca products. The gold bar for soap worked well for them.

Also the Renew lotion worked for them as well as for a friend of mine. Good luck.

      Laura

  4. I have been using Synbiotic 365 now for 6 months-at least. I have issues with constipation and I admit, not a great diet.

I have found with the Synbiotic 365 that it does help with constipation, I also see improvement in my face/skin, some improvement in reduction of cravings, and I also feel there may be some help with mental clarity. After using it for a while, these things don’t seem as pronounced, but I feel that it may be because these qualities are more the norm(?).

Just for the issue of having a capsule that can make me more regular is something very appreciated for me. Lastly, I feel the craving reduction really is helpful when I concentrate on making better food choices.

But at 58 I struggle with love for the kit kat. Imagine how life would be if kit kats where a required dietary staple….

  5. Your reviews are flawed. There are 5. 1 5, 1 4, 3 1’s. Two of the 1’s recommended the product, so they obviously meant to rate it a 5, not a 1. LOL
The average review should actually be at least 4.0.
  6. The January 2019 issue of the University of California, Berkeley, Wellness Letter has a front-page article with the title “Lectins: the new gluten?” In the article they highlight the misleading information Dr. Gundry has written regarding lectins. There is a danger in lectins (i.e. kidney beans) if they are eaten raw.

The dangerous part is removed in the cooking process. I found this statement below on the Internet too:

“The Berkeley Wellness Letter summarizes the Gundry hoax like this: “If there’s one thing evidence-based health and nutrition experts agree on, it’s that people should eat a largely plant-based diet.

For those looking for an excuse not to do so, Dr. Gundry offers a contrarian, pseudoscientific voice. But he is wrong — and self-serving."

I was a person who ordered and used Dr. Gundry’s products and I found no help from them at all.

Maybe others may find a use to them but, like anything, you should look on the internet for other opinions. No one should throw good money away to doctors trying to find a way to make fistfuls of money.

  7. I like that Dr Pedre calls out Glyphosate. Good Job on that.

It is however ambitious to say that one supplement can reverse that damage done. Sure vacuum packed probiotics, with the addition of prebiotic, and some B isolates is a great start, but I now know that the damage from glycphosate is more damming.

No one product can address the damage done. Unfortunately, we need to add Cali wines from 2016 to the polluted with glyphosate group… sad.

It’s in the water supply and even the Organic wines are now contaminated.

There is much more to say about the dangers of Glyposate, but I will save that for my own site.
  8. Drink water
Eat small portioned healthy foods every 3 hours and finish eating with a balanced full meal 3-4 hours prior to going to bed.
Do not drink soft drinks of any kind
Do not drink anything with large amounts of sugar, e.g., gatorade, cool-aid, etc.
    Do not drink alcohol PERIOD
Do not eat sweets of any kind
Do not eat fast food or food from restaurants PERIOD
Eat chicken breast, salmon, lean meats, organic vegetables, low sodium soaps, healthy salads, etc.
    Portion control, NO binge eating
I’m a 46 year old healthy man. I was 60 lbs over weight a year ago, I followed the above rules exactly and lost 40 lbs in 30 days without working out one time.

    1. This diet must have made you insomniac Al. 3am is a night owl for me. I guess you must eat meals around 10 or 11pm if you are up eating every 3 hours.

Whatever, I’m glad for you at the loss of 60lbs. That is great!
    2. I agree 100% I followed the FODMAP plan to address my Chrons disease, short bowel syndrome, IBS variety, pancreatitis, and malabsorption issues with no medications, no exercise, and I feel so much better cutting out all the processed foods. All the bloating went away, the nasty gases, the incontinence, and irregularities.

    3. That is a very pure diet. Very concise.

Meat and organic veggies. I can see how this would work.

But are you sad and mad all the time? How long did it take to get used to this diet.

And what did you have for breakfast?
      Thanks

    4. Al,
Could you please list what you eat per meal & snacks & what you drink.
Could you list meats, fish & vegetables & other items you eat. I would like to try what you are doing!

Please list anything you are eating or using that would help me! Thanks?

  9. I believe this company is a sham (United Naturals) I ordered symbiotic 365 two weeks ago Thats the date my credit card was debited for the symbiotic 365. I have called several times but to no avail. Their literature, when I ordered, stated delivery would be in 2-6 business days.

Still no delivery after 9 business days. DONT ORDER FROM UNITED NATURALS.

    THEY ARE A SCAM!!!
    1. Most customers on other reviews said their orders took three weeks. Mine did too. I’ve seen no “scam” at all with this company.

I started my product four days ago…… and already, I have more energy, hardly any evening hunger, more mental clarity and focus.
    2. I received my Synbiotic 365 order promptly and have felt a change, after three weeks, for the better since taking the product once a day. Definitely less desire for snack foods and a general feeling of well being.

I probably will make a new order if things continue to improve after three months.
  10. During the video I jotted down a few things said…including his reference to how important two particular probiotics are. They were L.

    Gassari and L. Rhamnosus.

My assumption was both would be present in the Synbiotic 365 formula. However, upon looking at the label above, only one of those two critically good bacteria are listed.

Did anyone else notice that? Can anyone explain if this is the alleged formula change that was made that other reviewers complained about (indicating the older formula worked better)?

Please correct me if I am wrong.

I’m still contemplating buying one box to see what occurs the 1st month. Thank you all for these helpful reviews!

It’s so sad how dangerous many of our foods have become…and that nothing is being done about it. I’m so thankful for guidance from others, like you, who truly care enough to share honest advice in today’s world.

    1. I noted the same discrepancy and would like to know why the L. gasseri is not an ingredient in the current formula.
      1. I ordered and received the product in about a week. Good email communication from United and from Dr. Pedre.

Guess what?! My box states that it contains formula number 3 and the L. gasseri is included again.

  11. First of all, no one has paid me to submit this review.
After reading many of the reviews here and seeing the videos, I see there’s quite a bit of interest in this product, for different reasons.
I exercise 3-4 times per week, eat healthy, and get and average of 8.5 hours of sleep every day. I purchased this product, hoping it will help to 1) improve my digestion, 2) relieve digestive discomfort, which should 3) improve my energy levels to 4) support my overall fitness efforts to lose weight.

I am technically obese, so I have a serious reason for trying this product. I want to live a long time.
Since this product is relatively new to the market, I will periodically give an honest review how this product is helping me or not.
    Today is day 1.
    1. Skip
My doctor wants me to take VSL3, but they are not available in this area. Something with tbe patent?? Question to you or anyone reading this= do you have a problem with diarrhea, very watery and cannot control? Thanks for an answer.

  12. I’ve just had a change of heart about ordering the product. I sat through the entire video and was sold.

I opened a new browser window to research reviews. One review stated the original “edition” was great!! Subsequent “editions” didn’t work the same; as the ingredients differed.

Why not continue sending the exact same product? If I start a regimen or product and it’s working, I want to stick with it.

If I have no control over what “edition” of the product I’m going to receive every month, no thank you! I think I will just purchase Peptiva from GNC.

Thanks for all of your comments; they have been helpful.
  13. I buy similar products from GundryMD. I can attest Dr Gundry has it a super quality product.

I hope this Dr produces a high quality product as well because I’m sure many will buy it.
  14. Just listening in for now. Checking other web pages for more indepth reviews about product legitimacy.

    Thanks
  15. Has anyone tried this supplement yet? I think rob a person that has stomach issues or overweight should have tried this product to give a better testimonial.

Can’t find reviews anywhere on this product.
  16. I have just go my shipment and there is no info about starting the program. I would like to know the dosage to start with is it one in the morning with 8oz of water stated on box ,but im no sure if the first mouth you take also in the evening ?

Please let know asap so in start this right !! Thank you Charles if you want to call my number is 617-35xx-xxxx im in Boston ma
    1. Hey Charles,
I believe you’re supposed to start with just one capsule per day with water. It shouldn’t matter what time of the day you take it, just make sure you take at least one capsule.

      1. Hi all, I’m Tricia from WI! Yes on the back of the box it states “take one capsule each morning with a full 8 oz glass of water”.

I have IBS-D, and just received my box Monday evening. Started it yesterday and noticed some positive things!

It’s as if it’s ‘purging’ bad impurities & calming things down. I try to eat healthy; haven’t had corn in about 2 years, but I’m single and sometimes don’t eat too much.

Breakfast is Siggi’s yogurt everyday. Dinner is usually a lean protein and nothing else (no starch).

It’s already taken care of trapped gas (sorry gross I know, but everyone does it lol) so I’m happy with that. I’ll keep at it, but I’m glad I’m using it.

All the best Rob, and to each of you. 😀
  17. I watched video and pretty much agree with your report. I am presently using a product called BIO-X4
    by NUCIFIC.

Dr. Amy in LA, CA. She also has a hoopala video promoting her product and educating on “Gut Health”, Such that I took her up on offer if no results; money back( $40/ month bottle). Been using this product for just over a year with notable results.
The one difference is Dr. Pedre’s packaging that I missed seeing in your review.

I am not a packaging engineer, but a Rocket science engineer and feel that may be a choice for this over another product if all else is the same. In any case I will be trying Dr. Pedre’s product, ordering today.

I will be stopping my existing product(BIO-X4) and starting Synbiotic 365 when it arrives. Will report results on your site if you so desire.

Appreciate your time, research and due diligence in assisting others in making a decision on their health choices. -Mr. Bill
    1. Mr Bill I see it has been over 2-month since you started this product… what is your opinion/results of taking Synbiotic 365 as opposed to your BIO-X4?
    2. Be careful with Bio X4, my gastro told me that it contains Green Tea Extract which is not beneficial to your Liver.
  18. Would it be safe for a lupus patient? What might the problems be for an active lupus patient who is going well but still has to take immunosuppressants?

    1. Hey Lis,
We haven’t had a chance to have our pharmacist look over the Synbiotic 365 formula yet, so unfortunately I don’t have an answer for you yet. I’ll see if we can get him to look it over soon.

  19. I’d be more likely to try this if they used methylcobalamin rather than cyanocobalamin. It’s been a year or so since I switched to B12 with the methylcobalamin, which costs more but makes me feel safer, rather than paying less to take cyanide.
    1. Nancy,
I Stand WITH You .. You Nailed It ..

Cyanocobalamin Is A Major “NO-NO” “NO-WAY” I Never Knew This In The Beginning Of My Taking B12
When I Learned The Facts I Was In SHOCK
    2. cyan refers to color not content. Cyan is the blue/green color of the vitamin B12. I have given this as a shot to many patients in my 40 years as an RN in primary care to maintain/support metabolism, blood cells, and nerves.
      1. Actually, cyanocobalamin does contain a CN (cyan) group in the molecule. However, even if all of it was converted into potassium cyanide, assuming daily dosage of about 2.4 µg of B12, it wold create about 0.11 µg of KCN. The lethal dose of potassium cyanide LD(50) is about 5-10 mg/kg, so several orders of magnitude higher.

You can ingest more cyanide by eating some apple seeds, which contain about 0.07% hydrogen cyanide.
    3. I also reviewed the B-12 in Synbiotic 365 and agree with you. I assume the reason cyanocobalamin is used is to keep cost of 365 down.

I’m still researching TCPS. Not sure I’m ready to order Synbiotic 365.
  20. Do you have lower prices for retired seniors? I would love to try this but I am still making hospital payments from 3 years ago.

    Thank you
    1. Hey Sherri,
We don’t actually sell Synbiotic 365, we just reviewed it. You’ll have to contact them directly regarding discounts / coupon codes / etc.

  21. Hi Rob Miller,

I read through your critique of Synbiotic 365 and have this to add.

Dr. Steven Gundry has. IMHO. a better approach to gut health, and he’s not primarily selling supplements. Rather he’s written books, available on Amazon, on the subject:

    https://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_noss/143-3850298-2510530?url=search-alias%3Dstripbooks&field-keywords=dr.+gundry%27s+diet+evolution+book

What I like about this approach is that Dr. Gundry is providing information on how to change your dietary intake to achieve healthier results. Supplements, such as you’ve reviewed, may also work, but maybe they are just a way to overcome eating the wrong foods or not preparing them properly. This is a much less expensive and long term way to get results, and avoid what could be the harmful effects of expensive supplements. Dr. Gundry also provides properly prepared foods for those willing to pay, but without the time to follow the advice he’s written about.

Dr. Gundry’s main claim is that edible plants and other food categories have a defense mechanism against insects or contain lectins due to intake in the case of living creatures. In turn this harms those of us who eat these foods, and there are a lot of them. Almost all fruits and vegetables contain lectins on their exteriors. A way to defeat their ill-effects is proper preparation/cooking.

The following is a list of food categories containing lectins:
    • Vegetables (especially nightshades)
    • Seeds
    • Beans and legumes
    • Traditional dairy products
    • Grain-fed and farm-raised animal proteins
He also has a video, and I also do not like videos because they drag on, some of them, for over an hour. Then at the end, despite previous claims of free advice, you’re treated to something that will cost you. Input your credit card information. So much for the “free” advice.

Anyhow Dr. Gundry also provides online information on both foods approved and those disapproved for lectin content, and with most of the information you’d find in the books he sells on Amazon:

    https://gundrymd.com/plant-paradox-shopping-list/

This web page, by the way, is not the long-winded video type. I would like to see move of this honest access to information without all the deceit that accompanies videos from other sources.

For those who have, due to time constraints, time unavailable to follow his advice, there are also “supplements”, which are foods properly prepared in which most of the lectins have been removed.

NO. I am not a paid promoter of Dr. Gundry. I just find his advice a lot more honest. It covers the gamut of those willing to take the time to follow his advice as well as for those willing to pay for foods that are properly prepared.

Dr. Gundry is a heart surgeon, and provides many testimonials from patients he’s treated. I’ve seen him featured on the margins of Yahoo that you mention you frequently visit.

    Best regards,

    1. Wallace, thank you for this post. And Rob, thank you for your review.

      Most helpful!

I have a coworker on Dr. Gundry’s plan & she is experiencing amazing health & weight loss results. She has lost 20 pounds and is at her ideal weight at age 56 & her husband has lost 30 pounds & her husband is a off all his cholesterol meds now.

It is a lot of work learning the ins & outs of this better eating & prep, but the results & happier lifestyle has been amazing. I have lost 40 pounds on an HMR Health protein shake plan & I’m now considered normal weight for my height & age (45) but I’m moving to Dr. Gundry’s plan so my husband & I can eat healthy for a long time to come in regards to “gut” health, which has always been an issue for me.

    2. I bought some of Dr. Gundrys stuff for $70 and to was just a can of psyllium powder, which you can get in any store for around $8.00? Rip off, never will buy anything from him again.
