Testrol, made by GAT is a dual purpose testosterone booster.

They call it an Anabolic and Potencyy Activator, and its dual purposes are muscle growth and improved sexual performance.

This makes sense, of course, because those are the dual purposes of all testosterone boosters really.

According to the product page on the GAT website, adrenal fatigue is a very common cause of low testosterone, and taking Testrol will help stave that off as well as all the symptoms that come along with it.

What is Testosterone?

Before we delve into the finer points of this miracle supplement, let’s see what testosterone really is and why your body needs it.

Both a man and a woman’s body are capable of producing testosterone.

The only difference is that a man’s body makes more of it. It is produced in the testicles.

Production starts as soon as you reach puberty and starts to dip after you pass the ripe old age of 30.

Testosterone production starts at puberty.

This is also why young men double in body weight and size as compared to their female counterparts.

It is why they crave physical activity (well most of them) and feel the need to prove their mettle in competitive contact sports like football.

testrol reviewThe hormone is mostly known for its effects on sex drive sperm count.

In addition, it also affects other functions such as how you store fat in your body, bone and muscle mass.

It is what is responsible for deepening your voice as you grow older.

It promotes the growth of red blood cells in your body.

And it helps you push your body to its absolute limit.

This is also why your body needs to have an adequate amount of the hormone if you want to do your workout sessions justice.

Once testosterone levels drop, your body falls with it.

Low testosterone has been linked to –

  • Excessive weight gain especially
  • Decreased sex drive or libido
  • Loss of muscle mass
  • Depression
  • Fatigue
  • Reduced bone density
  • Erectile dysfunction
  • Muscle weakness

Sounds like a man going through a midlife crisis, doesn’t it?

This is exactly what the condition feels like.

Suffice it to say, once you take testosterone boosters that actually work, you will be able to enjoy –

Better Libido

This goes without saying.

Testosterone levels rise in response to activity and sexual response.

The more testosterone you have, the more your desire increases.

Improved Mood

The first benefit should be cause enough.

Once you have adequate levels of testosterone, your mood improves.

You feel like doing activities that you would have considered a bother when your body was running low on the hormone like, say, dropping by the local gym after work to shed those few extra pounds you gained because free donuts were too good to pass up at your desk job.

Increased Strength

More testosterone means more strength, period.

Ask any weightlifter or athlete and they will tell you the same.

It is what makes it possible for body builders to push their body beyond its limits.

It is what helps track stars keep going for the home stretch after running for a long time.

Provided that you improve your lifestyle and diet, it can do the same for you.

Low Testosterone and why it Happens

Did you know?

Over 2 to 4 million men in the US suffer from testosterone levels that are below normal.

The worst part is that the problem progressively gets worse as they age. Plus it can strike you at any age.

Yes, just because you are a spry 25 year old now doesn’t mean that your body won’t fail you down the road.

Many men have issues when it comes to performing in the bedroom.

The cause can be decreased libido or a lack of stamina.

Whatever the case may be, almost all of these issues are related to low testosterone.

So what is a 30 something male in the prime of adulthood do when he can’t satisfy his partner in bed and getting up for work now seems like a chore?

He takes testosterone supplements or boosters. But which ones will give him value?

Testrol is one such product.

The manufactures of this supplement claim that it will help you get your sex life back on track and gain more muscle mass during your workouts.

Testrol Ingredients and How They Work

There are several sources for the Testrol ingredient list, and many of them provide a helpful explanation of how they each work toward the primary goal of increased testosterone and the secondary goals of improved sexual and athletic performance.

Included in the formula are:

  • Zinc, Magnesium, and Selenium.

These three mineral are key to all the biochemical reactions in the body responsible for and related to the production of testosterone.

Additionally, Zinc increases nitric oxide which improves erections, Magnesium strengthens muscles, and Selenium increases sperm production.

  • Tribulus Terrestris increases testosterone production by first increasing the secretion of Luteinizing Hormone.

The LH then signals the testes to up its testosterone producing activity.

  • Avena Sativa increases free testosterone by binding itself to SHBG (Sex Hormone Binding Globulin) so the SHBG cannot bind to testosterone.

  • L-Arginine is a precursor to nitric oxide.

Nitric Oxide is a vasodilator that opens the way for more blood to enter the penis for better erections.

  • Macuna Pruriens increases sperm production.

  • Fenugreek has been shown to increase testosterone levels.

  • Xanthoparmelia Scabrosa which relaxes the smooth muscle walls of the penile chambers, allowing more blood to flow in.

  • Cnidium Monnier acts as a PDE5 inhibitor just like the active ingredients in prescription erectile dysfunction medications.

  • Epimedium is an ancient Chinese aphrodisiac that also improves blood flow to the penis.

The recommended dose is 2 to 3 Testrol tablets daily for an 8 week cycle.

For best bodybuilding results, they also recommend that you drink 2 glasses of red grape juice within an hour after each workout, take 1-2 grams of BCAAs after each workout, take 10-20 grams of creatine daily, and take L-Glutamine after training and before going to bed.

Truth be told, any testosterone booster that has both Tribulus Terrestris and L Arginine has some credibility. Why?

For one the former is scientifically proven to be a testosterone booster while the latter is a hormone that increases levels of nitric oxide in the body.

Let’s just say that the product wouldn’t have any chances of working as it advertisers if it wasn’t for these two ingredients.

Testrol Pros and Cons

There aren’t many reviews on Testrol online. The men who have used the product do claim that it affected their muscle mass and sex drive to a degree. That is saying something.

Other advantages include the following –

Advantages of Testrol

  • It’s made by a reputable supplement company who’s reputation rests on the entire line.

  • It’s relatively affordable.

Disadvantages of Testrol

  • There are lots of negative Testrol reviews out there from customers who say it just doesn’t do anything.

Of course, not all reviews are so glowing.

There are some who claim that the product did not make them perform as well as they would have liked sexually.

Other men complain that Testrol didn’t come with instructions on how the supplement is supposed to be taken. In addition, there was no mention of potential side effects or a money back guarantee either.

The latter seemed to be a common complaint.

Where to Buy

There are lots of ways to purchase Testrol.

You can do it online through a number of supplement retailers. You can also find it at GNC.

The retail price is $49.99 for a one month supply. But I’ve seen prices online as low as $27.99, so make sure to shop around.

Conclusion

Remember, testosterone boosters aren’t supposed to replace the testosterone that your body lacks.

They are designed to compel your body to make more of it.

In other words, supplements such as Testrol are meant to magnify your body’s ability to make more of this vital hormone.

At first glance, Testrolseems like it would be a great product, and for some guys, it probably is.

But there are just too many negative reviews for me to put too much faith into it.

If you’re interested, definitely go online and buy it cheaply.

That way you won’t be out too much money if you end up disappointed.

As a multivitamin and natural testosterone booster, you don't need to cycle it like you would steroids or prohormones. Nevertheless, it's not a bad idea to take a week off every couple months to clean the slate.- Rob
