True Athlete Training Formula Overview

There’s a lot of similarity across many pre workout supplements.

Generally, the goal is to improve your workout so you get better results.

The differences among the hundreds of products are the methods and ingredients used to get you those better results.

Some use nitric oxide boosters, some use creatine, some use amino acids, and some use stimulants.

Finding that one formula that’s right for you is the ongoing struggle for lots of guys wanting their workouts to be the best they can be.

True Athlete Training Formulais a product primarily made available through the Vitamin Shoppe.

It’s a pre workout powder that doesn’t contain stimulants.

The claim it makes is that by using 1 to 3 scoops shortly before training or working out, you’ll see an improvement in muscle capacity, endurance, and performance.

Interestingly, a class action law suit was filed against True Athlete Training Formula for making false claims.

The suit was dismissed by a federal judge, but we’ll take a look into what that was about a little later in the review.

True Athlete Training Formula ReviewTrue Athlete Training Formula Ingredients and How They Work

The True Athlete Training Formula formula is actually pretty brief, focusing on mainly familiar components.

In each scoop, you’ll find:

  • 1g Creatine Monohydrate
  • 1g Arginine AKG
  • 500mg Beta Alanine
  • 17mg Astragin

Creatine and Beta Alanine are well studied bodybuilding ingredients.

They’ve both been proven to increase your muscles’ capacity to work. The dosing, however, could be higher.

Arginine increases the presence of nitric oxide which improves blood flow to the muscles for better oxygen and nutrient delivery.

The Astragin is a proprietary blend that improves the absorption of the other ingredients, helping them to perform better.

The class action suit alleged that True Athlete Training Formula makes claims that they clearly know are false presumably because the ingredients are dosed too low.

It is true that the Creatine and Beta Alanine are at lower doses than you would want in one scoop.

By taking 2 or 3 scoops, you’ll get much closer on the Creatine, but you’ll still be lacking compared with the tested levels of Beta Alanine.

What’s strange about this law suit, though, is that many, maybe even most, supplements tend to underdose their ingredients.

Not that it’s a good thing, but it is very common.

True Athlete Training Formula Pros and Cons

Advantages of True Athlete Training Formula

  • It’s pretty cheap, though less so if you have to take 3 scoops at a time.
  • It lists ingredient amounts.
  • There are plenty of positive True Athlete Training Formula reviews from customers who’ve used it.

Disadvantages of True Athlete Training Formula

  • It doesn’t contain stimulants, which may not be acceptable for lots of guys.
  • The ingredients are somewhat underdosed.

Where to Buy

True Athlete Training Formula is available at the Vitamin Shoppe.

The 90 serving tub sells for $23.99. That would be a phenomenal price if you got 90 servings out of it, but most reviewers say you need 2 or 3 scoops to be effective, so that makes the price no longer extremely cheap, but still decently affordable.

Conclusion

If you don’t want stimulants in your pre workout and you do want creatine, True Athlete Training Formula is a good, solid, affordable choice.

Some people, myself included, sometimes find that the effects of stimulant heavy workout formulas take away from the positive effects and if you are in that camp then I would say that True Athlete Training Formula is a safe bet to become a part of your workout routine and supplement regimen.
