Top 4 Hangover Supplements

What are the best hangover supplements on the market?

At supplementcritique.com we are always on the lookout for new products to test and review.

Hangover supplements are a new category on the market and have only been around for a few years.

The market is booming as people are realising that these supplements can support recovery after a night of drinking.

As a result, there are several products on the market to chose from so we thought its the ideal time to try out the best on the market today.

Naturally we were excited to share our experience with these supplements.

We were certainly surprised at how effective they are.

So how do hangover supplements work?

To understand how these pills work, it’s important to cover how hangovers effect your body in the first place.

Alcohol is broken down by your liver and produces toxic waste products.

These are commonly known as “free radicals” which are highly reactive molecules that damage the cells they come into contact with.

As a result, hangovers cause symptoms including headache, nausea, body aches and reduced focus.

Hangover supplements are designed to work by increasing your livers ability to break down alcohol as well as providing your body with antioxidants to clear up those free radicals.

They are somewhat different to most of the supplements we are used to as you’re meant to take them only when you’re drinking.

It’s also absolutely essential that they are taken at the end of your night (i.e after your last drink).

This is so that the ingredients in your hangover supplement can work before the toxins from alcohol metabolism cause damage.

Once its morning time and you’re already hungover – it’s too late.

Why we chose to cover these supplements?

We decided to cover hangover supplements because we know exactly how it feels to be a few steps off the mark after even a few drinks.

Lack of focus, energy and motivation can get in the way of an active lifestyle and anything that can take the edge off is a big plus for us.

The whole point of these supplements is to reduce alcohols negative effects so you can be more productive with your day.

The expected benefits of a quality hangover supplement:

  1. Reduce symptoms of nausea
  2. Improve mental clarity and productivity
  3. Increase energy levels
  4. Reduce morning headache

What are the key ingredients in a hangover supplement?

Dihydromyricetin (DHM): This ingredient is extracted from the Japanese raisin tree and has been used traditionally in Asia for thousands of years to help with hangovers.

Recent research has shown that DHM can increase alcohol breakdown and support your liver in clearing toxins.

Ginger Extract: This is the most research backed natural anti-sickness remedy that exists.

Its a great ingredient to have to settle those upset stomachs after a night of drinking

Milk Thistle: People commonly take milk thistle on its own and see real reduction in hangover symptoms.

Imagine combining it with other hangover busting ingredients.

Turmeric: Works as an anti-inflammatory so its ideal for hangover headaches.

B-Vitamins: These vitamins are essential in building your livers key regenerative enzymes so they are the foundation of any hangover remedy.

N-Acetyl-Cystine (NAC): This amino acid is the precursor to glutathione which is known as the bodys most powerful antioxidant.

It helps clear up the toxic by-products of alcohol breakdown.

Hangover supplement ingredients to avoid:

Caffeine: Although it may seem logical, caffeine will only give you a short lived energy boost when hungover.

Ultimately it will result in a caffeine crash as well as worsening any shakes you may have.

Ibuprofen / Advil: Although these painkillers can be great at reducing your headache, they are well known to irritate the stomach lining causing worsening symptoms of nausea when hungover.

In our top pick, we only include supplements with natural ingredients and ones that don’t contain stimulants for the reasons mentioned above.

They have a great reputation with a solid customer base.

We actually think it’s a well formulated product with most of the key ingredients.

Here’s a snapshot of the ingredients label:

That said, there is a notable omission of Dihydromyricetin (DHM) which is really the main ingredient in this kind of product.

It’s hard to compete with the best products on the market without this key ingredient.

On the flip side, it’s one of the cheapest products on the market at only $20, you get a lot for your money.

popular supplements on the market.

It contains DHM and most of the key ingredients required to mitigate the effects of a hangover.

Here’s a snapshot of the ingredients label:

While it does contain most of what we are looking for, we deducted points due to its omission of turmeric which is an important anti-inflammatory.

That said, Cheers is still a top product and makes it on the podium.

How do you take Cheers?:

You take 2-4 capsules after your last drink.

#4 Hangover Supplement: Flyby

flyby hangover pills

Flyby is a relatively new company and has been growing since launch by expanding its range away from hangover supplements to rehydration drinks as well.

We were disappointed to see that Flyby uses a proprietary blend. This means that we don’t know exactly how much of each ingredient they have used in their product.

On top of this, they miss out ginger and turmeric in their ingredient list which is a shame.

Here’s a snapshot of the label:

flyby hangover aid ingredients label

Don’t get us wrong, Flyby still contains some really essential ingredients, but we believe all areas need to be covered when it comes to hangovers.

How do you take Flyby?:

3 capsules before bed and 3 at the end of your night – notice a trend?

Anything else to consider?

It’s important to note that hangover supplements aren’t magic pills.

Common sense still applies.

Keeping hydrated as well as eating a full meal before drinking.

These are key preparatory steps that you need to take to avoid the worst hangovers.

Conclusion

Our list is made up of the top hangover supplements on the market today.

Its’ a new breed of supplement with most manufacturers updating their ingredient list regularly to keep ahead of the game.

With that, we concluded that AfterDrink is the best hangover pill around.

We’ve based this on personal experience, company reputation and most importantly, quality of their formula with no hidden proprietary blends.

afterdrink review

That’s right, there’s a new category of supplement on the market which claim to take the edge off your hangovers.

Related Article:Top 4 Hangover Pills That Really Work

These hangover pills are really taking off as more and more people are finding out about them and seeing real benefits.

We all know that simple hangover prevention methods like drinking water or sticking to one drink the whole night doesn’t work that well.

You still find yourself barely able to get out of bed and when you finally do get out of bed, there isn’t much you feel like doing.

So we were happy to finally see a solution to this age old problem.

Our job at supplement critique is to test out supplements personally so that we can give you first hand comprehensive information on which products are best.

We were blown away by our experience with AfterDrink so we are very excited to share how this product could help you with your hangovers.

What Causes Hangovers In The First Place?

To understand how AfterDrink works, we first need to cover why we get hangovers in the first place.

When alcohol is metabolized by your liver, it creates “free radicals”.

These are highly reactive molecules which wreak havoc on your insides.

In addition, alcohol is a diuretic which means it makes you urinate more fluid than you’re consuming.

The net effect is dehydration.

So in combination, this leaves you with all the typical hangover symptoms including a headache, nausea, low energy and lack of focus.

How Does AfterDrink Work?

Most of the hype around hangover pills is to do with a little known ingredient called dihydromyricetin (DHM).

It’s a herbal ingredient that’s been used for thousands of years in Asia, but only recently discovered in the US.

Research has shown that it can help your liver increase alcohol breakdown and reduce the buildup of alcohols toxic waste products.

In addition to this, AfterDrink contains another 24 ingredients which are designed to work together as a supercharged antioxidant blend and clear up free radicals from your system.

They include ginger which a research backed natural anti sickness remedy and turmeric which is well known for its anti-inflammatory properties. (Ref: 2, 3)

AfterDrink also contains milk thistle which is another key ingredient that people use traditionally for hangovers.

Alongside this, a combination of amino acids and vitamins work in synergy to produce a supplement thats jammed packed with antioxidants.

Most importantly, AfterDrink is made from totally natural ingredients and doesn’t contain stimulants like caffeine or any banned substances.

Here’s a quick snapshot of the label below:

afterdrink ingredients label

AfterDrink Benefits

Some of the key benefits of AfterDrink include:

  1. Reduces symptoms of nausea
  2. Speed up alcohol break down
  3. Improve energy levels naturally without caffeine
  4. Anti-inflammatory ingredients help reduce headache
  5. Totally natural ingredients
  6. 30 day money back guarantee
  7. Sell worldwide

So how do you take AfterDrink?

Hangover supplements are quite different from what we are used to.

You don’t take them daily.

Instead you take 3 capsules before you know you’re going to be consuming alcohol and then 3 more capsules after your last drink.

This way, your liver is supported throughout the drinking session.

Once you have a hangover, the damage is done and only time will heal your body.

This is why its so important to take these pills at the end of the night.

Sounds pretty easy, so let’s see if it actually works as they say.

My Personal Results

I took 3 AfterDrink capsules with a full glass of water before meeting some friends at a bar.

In total I had around 4 large beers and vodka mixer.

When I got home I took a further 3 capsules with another full glass of water and went to bed.

In the morning I could really feel the difference.

Most noticeably I was headache free and had enough energy to go for a workout in the morning (which i’m not normally able to do).

I still wasn’t 100% but I guess that’s to be expected after a late night.

The effects were most noticeable when I went out the next time and forgot to take AfterDrink and then realized how different I felt in the morning.

Where can you buy it?

AfterDrink is available online on their official website, www.afterdrink.com.

The price for a 1 month supply is $35, and they do have promotions like buy 3 get 1 free bottle, which is backed by a 30 day guarantee.

Who makes AfterDrink?

The company behind this hangover supplement is UK based and they manufacture in the UK and USA only.

Their product is made in a FDA registered facility that follow good manufacturing practice guidelines.

Looking at their formula, they don’t use a proprietary blend. We were very happy to see this as it shows the manufacturers are not trying to hide the quantity of their ingredients behind a hidden formula.

In summary, AfterDrink ticks all the boxes when it comes to safety.

Are there any side effects?

AfterDrink uses all natural ingredients with no medicines or stimulants so its a pretty clean product.

As with all supplements, if you’ve got any health problems or taking regular prescribed medications, its always best to ask your doctor to make sure you’re all good.

People commonly have allergies / intolerance to fillers and excipients used in supplements.

AfterDrink does not use any of these which is also a big plus.

Anything else to consider?

Hangover supplements aren’t miracle cures.

Imagine them like supercharged antioxidant pills that help dampen the blow from alcohols toxins.

Common sense still applies.

Drink plenty of water throughout your night and ensure you don’t drink on an empty stomach.

In addition, stick to lighter colored drinks as these contain less congeners.

Alcohol with high congener content are well known to give worse hangovers.

We all know that hangovers from whiskey or red wine are the worst!

Are there better hangover supplements than AfterDrink?

We have tried some of the leading products on the market (like Cheers hangover cure) and we felt that AfterDrink was superior.

The extra antioxidants and additional anti-sickness herbal extracts give this product the cutting edge.

Recommendation

AfterDrink ticks all the boxes when it comes to an all-round hangover supplement.

They cover all areas of alcohol related damage with a range of premium ingredients.

It’s the leading product on the market right now and we think it’ll be hard to knock them off the top spot.

Joovv Red Light Therapy for Testosterone – Should you Shine it on Your Junk?

This is a review, Visit Joovv.comfor more info.

I’ve reviewed lots of testosterone boosters on this site in the past, mostly in the form of supplements.

But over the last year, I started hearing more and more about another strategy men are using to boost T-levels: red light therapy.

In this article, I’ll go over the basics of red light therapy: what it is, how it works at the cellular level, what the health benefits are, and how it affects testosterone levels.

Then I’ll give my personal review of one of the leading red light therapy devices on the market.

Joov Red Light

How I Heard About Light Therapy

I first heard about red light therapy last year when I read this Ben Greenfield story in Men’s Health about how Ben shined natural red light on his testicles and saw huge increases in his testosterone and sex drive.

It’s an entertaining article, but at first glance, it sounded pretty far-fetched.

Just shine some red light on your junk and voila: more testosterone, better sex, healthier skin, faster muscle recovery, less joint pain.

I almost expected Ben to say it made him a foot taller too.

I slipped red light therapy into the “sounds too good to be true” file in my brain.

Then I kept hearing other successful trainers, doctors, and athletes swearing by red light therapy for physical performance.

Everyone from NFL stars like Patrick Peterson and Von Miller, to UFC champion TJ Dillashaw, plus world-class trainers like Lacey Stone and the late great Charles Poliquin.

Lots of other major voices in health and fitness are raving about it too, like Dave Asprey, former bodybuilding champ Ben Pakulski, and Onnit founder Aubrey Marcus.

I decided I needed to do more homework on red light therapy.

So I tested out the device Ben Greenfield and all those fitness enthusiasts are using: it’s called a Joovv.

You can jump right to my personal review of the Joovv and red light therapy at the bottom.

For those of you like me who wanted more info on the science and how it works, I’ll start with an overview of light therapy and explain what the hard research says.

I’ve got a special section on just the testosterone treatment part of red light therapy too.

What is Light Therapy & How Does it Work?

red light therapy for increasing testosterone

Red light therapy is also called photobiomodulation, or PBM.

It’s a non-invasive health intervention that delivers concentrated natural light to your skin and cells.

Specifically, the wavelengths of red and near infrared light that are the most therapeutic for human health (without harmful UV rays or unnecessary heat).

Light therapy works by delivering natural light to the mitochondria in your cells.

Those are the powerhouses churning out the ATP (adenosine triphosphate) energy our bodies need to function.

But here’s the problem: when you get sick, injured, stressed, or tired, your mitochondria produce too much nitric oxide, which slows everything down in your cells.

Nitric oxide competes with oxygen during the cellular respiration process that makes our ATP.

The photons in red and near infrared light excite the electrons involved in ATP creation, breaking up nitric oxide bonds and letting hydrogen and water move through the respiration process more easily.

The more efficiently your cells create ATP energy, the better your cells function on all levels and the better your body feels & performs.

Tldr: natural red light helps your cells make more energy, which helps your whole body run better.

Health Benefits: What the Science Says

I tried light therapy in part because there’s so much peer-reviewed clinical research that’s found it to be safe and effective.

It’s actually pretty incredible how many studies have been done for such a wide variety of applications.

These are some of the main health benefits that have been found in numerous clinical trials:

Training & Muscle Recovery

I’ve probably heard the most about light therapy from professional trainers who swear by it for muscle recovery and pain reduction after strenuous workouts.

A number of peer-reviewed studies have shown that by reducing oxidative stress and boosting ATP production, light therapy allows your tired and damaged muscle tissue to regenerate and recover faster. [1]

Research from 2016 in the American Journal of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation showed light therapy also increased the growth of healthy muscle tissue among trial subjects, with increases in muscle size, bulk, and strength. [2]

Trainers and competitors I’ve talked to say light therapy is great on both ends of training: it helps with energy and motivation so you can go harder on a workout, and then it helps muscles recover so you can come back faster, without as much strain and injury risk.

That’s why you’re seeing NFL teams and Olympic trainers incorporating red light into their routines.

Less Inflammation & Joint Pain

Red light therapy is catching on in the training world, but it’s also a proven pain reliever for people with chronic issues like arthritis & fibromyalgia.

Several clinical trials have clearly shown that arthritic patients treated with light therapy see a significant reduction in inflammation and oxidative stress, with much less joint pain as a result. [3]

That’s one of the coolest things about red light therapy science: it works on your cells, and every single function of your body relies on cellular energy.

So whether you’re a champion bodybuilder in your prime, or a senior with joint pain, by getting more natural light to your cells, the increased ATP energy is going to be therapeutic and reduce inflammation.

Skin & Collagen

Red light therapy first got popular in spas and clinics because it’s a natural solution to skin blemishes and aging.

There’s a large body of clinical literature on how light therapy boosts your skin’s collagen. That’sthe key ingredient for things like skin health, hair health, and tendon & joint flexibility.

Patients treated with light therapy in clinical trials have seen improved skin tone & complexion, diminished signs of aging, and quicker healing of wounds and scars, without the range of side effects you see from more invasive and drug-based therapies. [4, 5, 6]

Safety

Obviously, it’s safety-first with a product you use directly on your bare skin.

Iwouldn’t try it if I didn’t think it was on the level, but the research has found almost zero problems with natural red & near infrared light.

A 2013 analysis of light therapy treatments conducted by Harvard and MIT researchers cited its “noninvasive nature and almost complete absence of side effects.” [6]

Light Therapy for Testosterone

The muscle, skin, & inflammation benefits of red light therapy are well-established in the medical science community, but newer research is also showing natural light has a big effect on a man’s testosterone levels.

This section is a top-level summary of what the hard research says about light therapy and testosterone.

2016 Italian Sex & Testosterone Pilot Study: A few years ago, researchers at the University of Siena in Italy conducted a very encouraging pilot study on light therapy and testosterone & sexual satisfaction in men. The subjects were 38 men with very low sex drive, split into two groups, with only one receiving clinical doses of light therapy every morning.

The men in the group treated with more light saw their testosterone rise significantly.

More specifically, the control group did not see T gains, but the active light therapy group showed a huge increase from about 2.1 ng/ml to 3.6 ng/ml in just 2 weeks. [7]

The study’s author elaborated in a Science Daily article: “The increased levels of testosterone explain the greater reported sexual satisfaction.

In the Northern hemisphere, the body’s testosterone production naturally declines from November through April, and then rises steadily through the spring and summer with a peak in October.

You see the effect of this in reproductive rates, with the month of June showing the highest rate of conception.

The use of the [light therapy device] really mimics what nature does,” said Dr. Andrea Fagiolini. [8]

Male Fertility

Several other studies around the world have found that light therapy on a man’s testes and sperm increases how well individual spermatozoa can swim.

As a result, many researchers are concluding that light therapy can have a significant effect on treating male infertility. [4,5,6,7 T] A 2017 study published in Scientific Reports also noted that these treatments were safe, and did not cause any oxidative DNA damage to the sperm or testes. [8 T]

Earlier Research on Testosterone in Mammals: Often the best research on human health starts in the laboratory with other mammals whose biology is similar to ours.

Two separate trials in 2013 found that lab rats had higher testosterone levels after prolonged exposure to natural light.

Other studies of boar and dog reproduction found that light therapy improves sperm health & fertility outcomes. [9,10,11,12 in T]

How Does Light Therapy Boost Testosterone Levels?

Many of these studies are showing that red and near infrared light wavelengths stimulate the Leydig cells in the testicles, which are responsible for producing testosterone. [6, 9,10 T] Researchers from the Italian pilot study theorized that light therapy interacts with the pineal gland in the middle of the brain, which also plays a major role in reproduction. [14 T]

One of the 2013 studies on mammals showed that the follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH) and luteinizing hormone (LH) were elevated in lab rats.

The FSH & LH are essentially the same in humans, and they’re called “gonadotropins” because of their ability to stimulate testicular function. [10 nepal study?]

More research is coming out and larger samples are needed going forward, as well as FDA clearance specifically for testosterone therapy.

But it’s pretty clear, based on the available research and anecdotal evidence from professionals, that natural light has a positive effect on male testosterone and sexual health.

That brings me to my personal experience with the Joovv light therapy device.

Joovv Red Light Therapy and testosterone

My Personal Experience With The Joov Light

I got a chance to try out the Joov light awhile back, and finally had a chance to put together my thoughts on paper.

At first glance, it’s a bit intimidating.

I don’t mean that in the literal sense, but more in the sense of the questions I had linkgering in the back of my mind:

Questions like:

“Is this even safe?”

“Can I look at the light, or will my retinas burn out?”

“Should I wear sunscreen?” (not really, of course)

I’ve never used a red light therapy machine like this before, so I wasn’t really sure what to expect.

I actually went into my test with the assumption that it likely won’t have much of an effect, mainly because I’ve been burned (again, not literally!) by products like this before.

My first session in front of the Joov Light lasted about 10 minutes, and while it was a bit boring standing there butt-naked, it was actually surprisingly relaxing.

After the session was over, I went back into my office and basically felt like I spent the day at the beach.

It was that type of warm afterglow you get from a good day of sitting in the sun, drinking cocktails (minus the actual tipsiness that a day like that can provide).

Apart from that afterglow feeling, I didn’t really notice much else, which was to be expected.

Throughout the first week, I religiously devoted 10 min. of my day to standing in front of this light.

As the week progressed, I have to admit, I did seem to start feeling better overall.

It wasn’t necessarily a “wow, I feel like I just injected myself with a big dose of Androgel!” type of feeling.

More of a “I feel content, calm, and just in general a lowering of anxiety”.

It wasn’t until the 2nd week hit that I really started to notice some changes.

The biggest thing I noticed was I was sleeping a lot better.

Normally, my sleep cycle is pretty good.

My biggest issue is I can never seem to stay asleep for more than 5 – 6 hours straight.

I’ll wake up, have to pee, and while I do fall back asleep, when I wake up 2 – 3 hours later I feel like I literally slept 2 or 3 hours.

This was not the case in week 2.

I was quite literally sleeping a sound, deep, 7 – 8 hours of very restful sleep.

The kind of sleep that, when you wake up, you feel ready to attack the day with the vigor of a 19 year old kid on his day off from work.

I also had a boner standing at full attention, which was more than a pleasant surprise.

Note that I hadn’t changed any of my sleep routine here…

I wasn’t taking any supplements, sleep aids, working out more strenuously, or doing anything different.

The only thing I was doing was using the Joov light 10 min. a day…

red light therapy for testosterone

While I only used it for another couple of weeks, the benefits seemed to persist.

I was sleeping better, waking up with morning wood, and even noticed a little bit of increased muscle.

Was this all the result of an increase in testosterone? I can’t be sure…

But it sure as hell felt like it!

Nugenix Alternatives: 5 Cheaper (and better) Substitutes

Walk into any GNC today and you’ll see a section that looks dedicated to one line of supplements: Nugenix.

nugenix alternative

Nugenix is probably one of the most well-known brands of testosterone boosters on the market in 2020, and for good reason.

They spend an absolute fortune on TV and Radio Ads like this one featuring former MLB star Frank “The Tank” Thomas:

The commercials themselves are a bit cringe-worthy, but they definitely get the job done.

Nugenix also happens to be one of the most expensive testosterone boosters on the market.

As of February 2019, here’s the average retail price for each line of Nugenix:

  • Ultimate Testosterone: $85
  • Maxx:  $169.99
  • Original: $57.99

With prices like these, it’s no wonder people are searching for something cheaper.

So, is there a Nugenix alternative that works just as well, but for a fraction of the price?

The simple answer to that is a definitive yes.

Top 5 Nugenix Alternatives For 2020

#1 – D-ASpartic Acid and Fenugreek

#2 – DHEA

#3 – Tribulus Terrestris

#4 – ZMA

#5 – Fenugreek

Scroll below to learn more about each.

#1 – D-Aspartic Acid And Fenugreek

You’ll often find D-Aspartic Acid in a wide range of over-hyped testosterone boosters, Nugenix included.

Chemical structure of D-Aspartic acid. Image: Wikimedia.org

D-Aspartic Acid (D-AA) can increase the release of growth hormone, which in turn leads to an overall increase in testosterone. Source: 1

But is it necessary to pay top dollar for it? Not by a long shot.

There are several well known brands of D-AA on Amazon, all of which may give you similar results.

Here’s just a couple:

  • Nutricost D-AA (300 grams – about 100 servings per bottle) – $16.95
  • KOR Naturals (120 capsules – 30 servings / bottle) – $14.95

Another one of the most popular ingredients that you’ll find in nearly all of the Nugenix testosterone booster product line is a compound called “Testofen”.

Made by a company called Gencor, Testofen claims to have numerous health benefits, including:

  • An increased sex drive
  • Increased energy levels
  • Lowered body fat composition

This all sounds great until you learn the truth about what Testofen is: Fenugreek extract.

That’s right, this ingredient is simply a derivative of fenugreek seeds.

The jury is still out on it’s effectiveness at increase free and total testosterone, but there is some clinical evidence to support it. See sources 2, 3, and 4

With all that said, there are much cheaper alternatives to getting your Fenugreek fill.

For example, on Amazon you’ll find several very reputable brands of Fenugreek available for as little as $7 a bottle!

Here’s just a few notable brands:

The stuff is high quality too, and will give you nearly identical results to what you would get with Nugenix.

#2 – DHEA

dhea as an alternative to nugenix
Chemical structure of DHEA. Image: Wikimedia.org

This particular ingredient is actually one you will not find in any of the Nugenix line of supplements, which is a bit surprising.

Just like with most herbal ingredients that claim to support increased testosterone levels, the science is still a bit inconclusive.

On the one hand, one study noted that ingestion of 50 mg of DHEA resulted in a statistically significant increase in serum androstenedione concentrations after just 2 weeks. Source: 5

However, a completely different study found that acute DHEA administration found no correlation with increased testosterone levels. Source: 6

With all of this said, I have personally used DHEA supplements myself, and have noticed significant overall benefits.

While taking DHEA for a period of 4 weeks, I noted:

  • Better sleep quality
  • Increased sexual function
  • An overall increase in positive mood

This isn’t surprising, considering 2 out of the 3 benefits listed above were reported by WebMD. Source: 7

Just like with the other Nugenix alternatives on this page, you can find DHEA supplements way cheaper on Amazon.

Some of the more reputable brands include:

  • Natrol DHEA (300 capsules – 25 mg per capsule) – $16.19
  • Life Extension DHEA (60 capsules – 50 mg per capsule) – $22.33

#3 – Tribulus Terrestris

Tribulus terrestris has been a supplement used to increase testosterone levels for centuries—which you might have guessed, given its Latin name.

It’s a naturally-growing plant, which does provide a lot of great benefits without the worries you may have with a chemical alternative.

The tribulus terrestris plant is grown in the Mediterranean area, produces sweet fruit, and is covered with spiny vines (giving it its second name, the puncture vine). Source: 8

products like nugenix

However, even though it’s natural, it does come with certain side effects.

If you’re taking tribulus terrestris, you should definitely watch out for the following:

  • Insomnia or trouble sleeping
  • Nausea or an upset stomach
  • And, excessive hair growth.

However, few people feel these side effects, and the benefits are considered by many to outweigh the cons!

When I personally took tribulus terrestris supplements myself, I took them for about six weeks. As I got to the end of the first month, I began to notice the following amazing benefits:

  • Great nights of sleep (yes, I actually slept better with this supplement!)
  • General happiness and positivity
  • A feeling of strength (although I wasn’t working out)
  • And, my sexual function was off the charts.

If you want to find this great alternative to Nugenix online, a great first place to go is Amazon.

Here are a few brands to search for:

  • BulkSupplements Tribulus Terrestris Powder (500 grams) – $20.96
  • Nobi Nutrition Premium Testosterone Booster (90 capsules) – $18.99
  • Now Sports Nutrition Tribulus Terrestris Double Strength (180 capsules) – $17.26

#4 – ZMA

https://www.supplementcritique.com/wp content/uploads/2019/02/zma chemical
ZMA chemical structure. Image: Wikipedia.org

Zinc magnesium aspartate—it’s a supplement that’s very popular among athletes, and for good reason.

When I took this supplement over the course of a month, I saw:

  • Boosted muscle strength
  • Improved endurance and recovery
  • And, fantastic sleep quality

The fact that this is just three naturally-occurring minerals used in conjunction with each other gives this supplement less the feel of a medicine and more the feel of a vitamin.

And, since its side effects are quite minimal, that’s what it feels like during the entire time you’re taking it!

Providing 270% of the recommended daily intake of zinc, 110% of the recommended daily intake of magnesium aspartate, and throwing in a whopping 650% of the fantastic vitamin B6 for additional glow and strength—this supplement truly helps you do what even the best of diets never truly could.

Your muscle growth will be off the charts with the help of this fantastic supplement. Source: 9

As per usual, the cost of this drug is way less if you search on popular online retailers.

Here are a few great brands to look out for:

  • Nutricost ZMA, Non-GM and Gluten Free (180 Capsules) – $20.95
  • Staunch ZMA (90 Capsules) – $20.00
  • Optimum Nutrition ZMA for Muscle Recovery and Endurance – $18.44

#5 – Fenugreek

fenugreek as a nugenix alternative
Fenugreek seeds. Image: Wikimedia.org

Coming in as the last in our list but certainly not the least, Fenugreek is a powerful way to make sure that your hormones are doing all of the jobs you want them to be doing!

Along with being able to lower blood sugar levels in people with diabetes — which, itself, would affect your hormones in a very beneficial way — fenugreek is also simply known as a delicious herb used in lots of Indian food dishes. Source: 10

Would you feel weird eating food to optimize your health? No, of course not!

Fenugreek is an incredible, ultra-natural way to make sure your body’s acting just the way you’d want it to do.

It’s got a very nice, subtle, sweet-and-spicy taste—so, when I began to take it as a supplement, it almost felt like a little treat instead of just a healthy supplement.

When I began to see the benefits as well I was almost blown away!

Here are just a few of the benefits I was able to track while I was taking Fenugreek:

I was more regular, digestively speaking (Fenugreek packs a fibrous punch!)

Picking up heavy objects got much easier, and my muscled appeared way more toned

My libido went through the roof!

Maybe this was placebo, but food just started to taste better—I think my taste buds got more sensitive!

With all of these benefits and virtually no side effects, Fenugreek is a no-brainer way to boost your own testosterone levels, especially when brought in as an alternative to Nugenix.

If you think you’d like to give Fenugreek a try, keep in mind that it’ll be way easier and cheaper to find online! Here are a few recommended brands:

  • Now Supplements, Fenugreek 500 mg (100 capsules) – $4.95
  • Anthony’s Organic Fenugreek seeds (2 lbs) – $11.98
  • FenuTrax Fenugreek Seed Extract (2 month supply) – $27.99

Conclusion

As you can see, getting a great deal on a Nugenix alternative doesn’t have to be difficult.

By knowing what different supplements do and making the choice to be more adventurous with your research, you can see great results—without making the huge investment.

Supplements are often just as good for the earth as they are for you, as they often depend on natural ingredients made in simple processes instead of huge, complex chemical distillations.

If you’re looking for a way to make sure your testosterone’s doing what it should be doing in your body, then look no further: from Fenugreek to ZMA, there’s sure to be a supplement that’s right for you.

Don’t take the easy, expensive, chemical route and just go for Nugenix!

Try out any of the supplements discussed above, instead, and enjoy deeper sleep, increased sexual function, and muscle toning—all at lower costs, with lower risks.

LFI Labs Boost Burn Fat Burner Review

Burning fat is a lot of hard work.

From strict diets to tough workouts, weight loss is not exactly something you can achieve easily.

This is why any form of help you can find can be great in getting closer to your goals.

While fat burners are often good, it feels like there’s just too many to choose from sometimes.

However, we picked out something that seems to be getting quite a bit of attention lately, it claims to help you BOOST your fat burning efforts.

lfi labs boost burn fat burner review

The Boost Burn Fat Burner wants to help you lose weight by using a lot of natural ingredients.

And apparently, it isn’t just about burning fat, the producers also want you to have a generally healthy lifestyle as well.

Is the Boost Burn Fat Burner really any good or just hype?

Read our Boost Burn Fat Burner review to find out!

About Boost Burn Fat Burner

Boost Burn fat burner is sold by LFI Labs.

They claim that their fat burner is capable of blocking carbs, improving cardiovascular performance, and supporting heart health. They also claim to help boost workout performance for quicker results.

Here are a few key points to know before we kick off properly:

  • Too many ingredients. For a capsule supplement, that’s not ideal.
  • Prop blend. Prop blends are always bad for transparency.
  • Natural tag. It insists on guaranteeing “natural” everything.

    Which is great.

Boost Burn Fat Burner Ingredients

Boost Burn Fat Burner has 28 ingredients including the vitamins.

You read that right: 28 freaking ingredients all stuffed inside four small capsules. What could go wrong?

Well the main thing is that the doses are likely very small meaning limited benefits at best.

  • Vitamin C & B6. Generic additions of good vitamins.

B6 in particular is heavily dosed because the body tends to use a lot of B vitamins during exercise.
  • Chromium. This small-dosed compound helps improve blood sugar levels which leads to better appetite management.

At 200 mcg, we have a good working dosage.
  • Gamma-Linoleic Acid. Not really a fat burner, so we’re not sure why it’s here.

What it is good for is bone health and a bit of an attention boost.
  • Conjugated Linolenic Acid. Both good for muscle composition and weight loss, but the 50 mg dosage will do next to nothing.
  • Bladderwrack. Also known as brown seaweed, this plant supplies xanthophyll antioxidant as well as iodine which stimulates the thyroid gland, we still aren’t sure it will trigger fat burning.
  • Choline Bitartrate. A nootropic that improves brain function whilst also supporting normal fat metabolism.

    At 500 mg, it’s a good addition.
  • Inositol. It’s more of a health ingredient, affecting insulin sensitivity.

In the long term, it could possibly help with appetite management, but we want something that works NOW.
  • Gymnema sylvestre. An ingredient that works on appetite control and overall weight loss.
  • Garcinia cambogia. Standardized to 50% Hydroxycitric acids or HCAs which help block carbs from being converted to stored fat.
  • Carnitine. This is a great fat burner that will not work due to the small dose of 25 mg. To add insult to injury, tartrate is also the weakest form in terms of bioavailability.
  • Turmeric. There’s a lot of health benefits regarding turmeric and its active compound curcumin, but this is more of a health ingredient than a fat burner.
  • Coenzyme Q10. This is an ingredient that is supposed to prevent the aging of hair follicles, but at 5 mg the amount is laughably small.

Most products make use of at least 50 mg.

Prop Blend, 1,003 mg

On top of the ingredients listed above Boost Burn also includes a secret blend of an additional 12 compounds.

At around 1000mg this means the average dose for each is 100mg.

  • Kelp powder. This is an appetite suppressant that works like typical fiber.
  • Spirulina. A health ingredient that’s potentially good for the heart.

To be honest this is usually found in super green supplements.
  • Phenylalanine. More of a nootropic than anything.
  • Tyrosine. An amino acid that is popular with energy drinks and pre-workout supplements.

It isn’t something we’d expect to see in a fat burner.
  • Methionine. An essential amino acid that has benefits for muscle growth and general health.
  • Bromelain. A pineapple enzyme that can help the body absorb nutrients faster.
  • Psyllium. Another fibrous ingredient which could be helpful to the gut, it is similar to Kelp but likely under-dosed.
  • Uva ursi, Buchu, & Juniper Berry. These are diuretics.

Diuretics help you pee water out more often and in larger quantities.

It helps with losing water weight, not fat.
  • Cloves, Cinnamon, and Allspice. General health ingredients, but not fat burners.
  • Cranberry & Grapefruit. Sources of antioxidants.

Boost Burn Fat Burner Formula Analysis

Boost Burn Fat Burner is a bit of a mess unfortunately.

It tries offering the customer everything but in doing so falls short and ends up offering nothing.

We saw this one coming from the start, but it is still staggering to us how many ingredients the makers tried to squeeze in.

Every ingredient in the primary formula is either terribly dosed or just fairy dust.

The only ingredients that are supported by science and included in generous doses are; Choline bitartrate and Inositol.

Then there’s the prop blend that we’re pretty sure was only added for marketing purposes.

You know, the makers can make all the claims under the sun owing to the fact that Boost Burn Fat Burner has all this ‘amazing stuff inside’.

All things considered we don’t think it’s a good formula.

Even if the price is “cheap,” we don’t think it is worth buying.

How it could be improved

So let’s say someone bought you the Boost Burn Fat Burner, but then you read our Boost Burn Fat Burner review and realize it’s pretty useless on its own.

What can you do to improve it?

Here are some suggestions:

  • Glucomannan. Glucomannan is a type of fiber that helps suppress appetite by gelling after ingesting.

This makes your stomach feel full.
  • Green Coffee. Green coffee is a bonafide energy source, but also a powerful fat burner for its chlorogenic acids.

    Chlorogenic acids spark thermogenesis.
  • Black pepper. Piperine, the active compound found in black pepper, helps improve absorption of every ingredient.

This still wouldn’t solve the problem of low doses in this supplement however.

Serving instructions

4 Capsules daily preferably with meals or as directed by a healthcare professional.

For best results, take 2 capsules with 8 ounces of water before breakfast and again before dinner.

This product should be used in conjunction with a sensible diet and exercise program.

Boost Burn Fat Burner FAQs

Is Boost Burn Fat Burner Safe?

We want to say yes, but with the large number of ingredients included there’s arguably more chance of you disagreeing with one of the.

Even if the dosing of each one is small, mixing them all up might do something unexpected.

Does it contain Caffeine?

It has zero caffeine.

How much can you take at once?

They recommend 2 capsules per meal for a maximum of 4 capsules per day.

Is Boost Burn Fat Burner stackable with other supplements?

It needs a lot of stacking, preferably with effective fat burners and appetite suppressants like the ones we suggested.

Boost Burn Fat Burner Customer Reviews

Honest customer reviews can be impossible to come by.

The good thing here is that plenty of people seem to have bought and tried Boost Burn.

As with many fat burners you will get positive and negative comments.

You’ll need to bear in mind that many customers may not have used the product whilst exercising and eating right.

And that severely hamper the performance of any fat burner.

Here are some that caught our eye:

One user said:

I had so much energy, it helped me fit into my old pants.

Whilst another bargain hunter remarked:

Great deal for the price, I will be buying more next time.

Unhappy customers made comments you’d expect to see:

It didn’t help me lose weight at all.

I didn’t feel any extra energy or see any changes whatsoever.

Boost Burn Fat Burner Summary

Pros

  • Multiple uses. At least one of the ingredients has to be good for you.
  • Appetite. It might actually help suppress appetite.
  • Cheap. Some will definitely find this a steal, for better or for worse.

Cons

  • No focus. 28 ingredients inside 4 capsules.

    Crazy.
  • Poor dosing. Almost every ingredient won’t work as advertised.
  • No burn at all. Much of the formula is made of non-fat burners.
  • Fairy dusting. Added ingredients just so people will be impressed.

Boost Burn Fat Burner Conclusion

Boost Burn Fat Burner is a hot mess of a supplement.

They used 28 ingredients excluding the other ingredients.

Ironically, the only useful ingredients are compounds to support general wellbeing and are not known for their fat burning capabilities.

They seem to have sprinkled a lot of “fancy” ingredients in there, perhaps they think that fat burner supplements work like multivitamins.

By adding as many ingredients as possible perhaps they believe the results will be better.

Boost Burn Fat Burner doesn’t really have any redeeming qualities aside from price.

However, we would recommend you get another fat burner even if you have to spend 50% more if only because you have a better chance of actually buying something worth your money.

Natural Enlargement Exercises Video and Pictorial Demonstrations

Disclaimer! The information provided in these demonstrations was performed by a trained individual. All of these exercises are safe when done appropriately, and it is prudent that you fully understand the exercises before attempting them.

We here are SupplementCritique.com make every effort to give you the most accurate information possible when concerning these exercises.

Wait!

Don’t Scroll Down Yet!

The exercises below really do work…I know this, because I’ve done them myself, and experienced the amazing results.

That being said, it takes some time for them to start working.

You’re realistically looking at 6 – 8 months before you start seeing tangible results, possible even longer.

If you’re looking to speed up the process, so to speak, I would recommend combining the exercises below with a supplement called Vigrx Plus.

vigrx plus medium

It’s a very effective male enhancement pill that will allow for increased blood flow during erections.

When combined with the exercises, however, you can expect to see the same results you would without taking a pill, but way quicker.

Think somewhere along the lines of 1 – 3 months, instead of 6 – 8.

How To Find The PC Muscle

How To Perform A Basic Stretch

Basic Stretching Step-by-Step

1. Grip your penis behind the head andgently pull downward.

Hold the stretch for roughly 30 seconds.

2. Repeat in the following directions and hold each stretch for 30 seconds.

  • Right(pictured),
  • Left,
  • Up,
  • Straight Out

How To Perform A Kegel

How to Kegel step-by-step:

  1. EQUIPMENT: Sit in a chair, preferably a hard chair.
  2. STARTING POSITION: Sit up straight with your hand in your lap.
  3. EXERCISE: Contract the PC Muscle (see above to locate the PC muscle)
  4. Basically you’ll be pretending that you’re about to fart, and then do what you would normally do to “stop” the fart.

Note:

  • You shouldn’t feel your stomach contract.

How To Perform A Jelqing Exercise

How to Jelq Step-by-Step:

  1. LUBRICATE:Before you start jelqing, lubricate your penis with baby oil, vaseline, Enlargel, or another penis lubricant (see the list below).
  2. ERECTION LEVEL: Bring your penis erection level to 50 – 75 percent by slightly stroking your penis.

The penis should be relaxed enough that it’s easy to push blood through it.

Never perform jelqing exercises with a full erection.
  3. OK-GRIP: Use your thumb and main pointer finger to form an OK-grip (see the guide above for an example).
  4. START AT BASE:Place the grip around the base of your penis, as close to your pubic bone as you can.
  5. MOVE UP:With light pressure on the grip, slowly move it up your penis.

The ideal jelqing pressure is one that does not hurt, but effectively pushes blood up the penis.
  6. STOP BEFORE GLANS: Stop the grip directly before it reaches your glans. You have just completed one jelq!

Each jelq should take approximately 2 to 3 seconds.
  7. REPEAT:Once you’re done with one jelq, take your other hand and repeat the jelqing process.

Horse Squeeze Demonstration

Horse Squeeze Step-by-Step (You will use both hands for this exercise)

  1. Hand 1:Form a tight overhand OK-grip at the base of your penis.
  2. Hand 2:Form a small OK-grip, no larger than a dime.

3.Hand 2:Slowly slide the dime-size grip over the glans and towards the base.Don’t rush this process.

It should take fifteen to thirty seconds for you to get to the base hand.

“Hanging Towel” Exercise

Hanging Towel Step-by-Step

1. Place a hand towel on your erect penis.

2. Kegel to lift the towel up and down.

How To “Pull and Slap”

Cautions

If you find yourself experiencing any pain or moderate discomfort while doing any of these exercises, STOP what you’re doing and reevaluate.

Some minor pain or discomfort is normal.

As with any kind of exercise, results can sometimes be accompanied by mild discomfort after a session or two, but keep an eye out for any drastic changes.

Writhing pain or feeling severely uncomfortable is not!

Listen to your body.

Conclusion

If you’re a little intimidated by the exercises, all I can say is this is completely natural.

After all, this isn’t something they teach you in 12th grade health class!! If you feel like you may be doing it wrong, or if you need any further info on how to perform these exercises, you can always email me at contact@supplementcritique.com.

I’m here to help!

Looking For A More “Hands Off” Approach???

I realize that there may be some guys out there who may not feel comfortable performing these exercises.

The exercises are not for everyone, and generally speaking it can take a long time to see optimal results.

There are devices available that will literally give you a HANDS OFF approach to penis enlargement.

These devices have been personally reviewed by our team of product testers, and are guaranteed to work.

Take a minute to check them out.

Extender Devices –Phallosan Forte

Another (more preferred) option would be the Phallosan Forte extender. Similar to the Size Genetics extender, the Phallosan Forte uses “stretching therapy” to gradually increase the size of the penis through continuous tension.

However, there are some BIG differences between the Phallosan and Size Genetics…

1.) I personally think it’s more comfortable than the Size Genetics device.

The Phallosan Forte uses a wrapping condom-like mechanism which virtually “grabs” the head of the penis and pulls it. The Size Genetics device uses a similar approach, HOWEVER, if you don’t wrap it with comfort pads it can be very painful.phallosan forte review

The bottom line is if it’s not comfortable you won’t want to wear it. And if you don’t wear it than obviously you won’t get any results.

2.) The Phallosan Forte is easier to use.

The first time I attempted to put on the Size Genetics device, it took quite a bit of a learning curve to get it on just right. In fact, it took me close to 2 hours to get it on right.

This was not the case with the Phallosan Forte…

Within 20 min. of opening up the box, I had it strapped on and working within 20 minutes.

3.) The Phallosan Forte is More Discreet

You can wear the Size Genetics device while you’re out and about, but it’s a bit more difficult to hide that you’re wearing it then it is with the Phallosan Forte.

While most guys choose to wear these things at home, sometimes that’s not always very convenient.

With the Phallosan Forte, it’s almost IMPOSSIBLE to tell that your wearing it.

Enlargement Pumps – Bathmate

bathmate hydromax x30 reviewAnother alternative is through the use of penile enlargement pumps.

Enlargement pumps work very similarly to extenders, except instead the draw blood into the penile chambers, allowing for increased length and girth.

The great thing about pumps is that, unlike extenders, you only have to use them for about 15 min. a day.

They are designed to be used either standing up in the shower, or laying down in your bathtub.

The most effective water based pump I have come across is the Bathmate Hydromax X30.

Click Here to read my official review of the Hydromax X30.

Inexpensive Alternative – Magnum Rings

One recent product that shows SERIOUS promise are Magnum Rings.

magnum rings review

They use similar principles to that of the Bathmate and Phallosan Forte, but work completely differently.

Magnum Rings use a principle called “clamping”, which essentially restricts blood from flowing out of the penis.

It works by creating micro-tears in the penile tissue, which over time the body will repair and “build on itself”.

You could think of it almost like adding layers of penile tissue, if you will.

It’s not as “Hands off” as the Bathmate and Phallosan, but it’s WAY cheaper (around $30 for a set of rings) and will get the job done.

15 Best Pre Workout Supplements For Women

Being a fit and strong woman requires strict adherence to regular exercise and top-notch nutrition.

More often than not, the food we eat can be enough to supply our body with the right kind of nutrients, something that should help us to power through our exercise sessions and recover quickly. However, some women want results faster.

This is where supplements like pre-workouts come in.

In a nutshell, pre-workouts are supplements that work to support your daily exercise needs.

Whether it’s to help you take your cardio performance to new heights, or to help you lift your new personal best in the weights room, pre-workouts will propel you to new levels, putting an end to frustration and making you feel more confident about your abilities.

What The Best Pre Workouts For Weight Loss Can Do For You

You don’t want to take pre workouts and expect them to work like a magic weight loss powder.

The whole point of these products is to help you increase your strength and stamina in order increase your body’s natural ability to burn.

The expected benefits of a quality pre workout:

  1. A big dose of energy
  2. Better toning
  3. Delaying muscle fatigue
  4. Helps burn more fat
  5. Enhances mood and focus

What women want in pre workouts

The needs of most guys are way different from the needs of most girls.

That’s just fact and it’s no different when it comes to pre workouts.

Despite supplement companies catering to women for the longest time, there are still women who want to find safer options, especially when it comes to stimulants and other enhancers.

Regardless of gender, most people prefer natural ingredients.

Unless you’re into muscle competitions and extreme bodybuilding, natural is best.

Natural ingredients are very much the trend when it comes to the latest supplements, this has made these products more approachable to women, as there’s less need to worry about really bad side effects.

Some natural ingredients women expect to see in supplements are:

  1. Caffeine from natural sources.

Let’s face it: Women love coffee as much as guys do, so it goes without saying that some caffeine is necessary.

However, the dose has to be just right as most women aren’t really into the whole “buzz now, crash later” sort of effect. 100mg per serving is safe dose.
  2. Citrulline.

It helps your body generate nitrous oxide which are then used to give your muscles more pump with each lift. Yeah, girls like to lift heavy too.
  3. Beta-alanine.

This is a really great ingredient when it comes to boosting endurance which also leads to delayed muscle fatigue, the upside is that you don’t get the bulking effect that creatine gives.
  4. Taurine. A staple ingredient in a lot of energy drinks, this is naturally found in the muscles and in the brain and works as an antioxidant.

Whilst the above four ingredients are necessities in any effective pre workout, the next three ingredients are innovative new substances that are not widely available:

  1. ENXTRA. A blend of lemongrass, licorice, and alpinia galanga which helps amplify the effect of caffeine.

Adding this in a pre workout means you get a boost of energy with less caffeine.

    Awesome, right?
  2. OXYJUN. A premium form of terminalia arjune, a plant used as an alternate source of energy which doesn’t have the side effects caffeine is known for.
  3. Coconut Water Powder. Pre workouts today will have electrolytes in one form or another.

This is because studies show electrolytes help improve muscle hydration as well as reduce the risk of muscle cramps after a tough workout.

Vitamins are all awesome additions too, in particular it’s the B-vitamins you really want to see because B-vitamins are depleted during vigorous exercise and need to be replenished.

Pre workout ingredients you should avoid

If there are some ingredients women want, certainly there are ingredients women don’t like too.

We’re talking about the likes of strong stimulants like those of ephedra, synephrine, and yohimbe or stimulants that play with your adrenaline hormones.

Then we also have ingredients that promote strength like creatine.

Despite the benefits a lot of women still don’t want big muscles and instead go for the slender and strong body type.

Sweeteners

Putting the ingredients to one side, another key criteria for workout supplements is taste.

At the end of the day it’s going to be really hard to take something every day if it tastes like burnt coal!

As far as sweeteners are concerned, there are plenty of options out there that offer zero or really low calories.

You can opt for Stevia, but we think Sucralose is better just because it has a superior flavour with no aftertaste.

Not to mention scientists aren’t exactly sure if Stevia has any health benefits at all.

Top 15 Pre Workout Supplements For Women

  1. POWHER

powher pre workout for women

Our favorite pre-workouts for women are those that include very few stimulants and no creatine.

As a result POWHER is our top pick right now.

Not only that, it also has the key ingredients women want in a pre-workout for weight loss.

Powher’s unique collection of energizers when combined offer ten times the benefits than if they’d been ingested on their own.

The best example of this is the addition of EnXtra which boosts the performance of relatively small quantities of caffeine.

The upside of this is that you get a female pre workout that has exactly the same benefits with less chance for side effects.

Other stimulant free performance boosters in this product include Rednite and Oxyjun. These natural options are exactly what you need to drive quicker fat loss and improved muscle tone.

Ingredients in Powher

  1. B Vitamins
  2. ENXTRA
  3. OXYJUN
  4. REDNITE
  5. Coconut Water Powder
  6. Citrulline
  7. Natural Caffeine
  8. Beta Alanine
  9. Taurine

2. Shredz

shredz pre workout for women

Shredz’ pre workout for women has a few ingredients we found in POWHER, but not every one which explains why it’s sitting at noLEAN--2. However, this doesn’t mean it’s a bad product.

We actually think it’s a really well formulated pre workout for women and there’s really no real reason why you should be discouraged at buying this.

That said, the lack of EnXtra is a notable omission.

It means that the makers have had to include another stimulant; Cocoa seed Extract.

It’s important to monitor stimulant content when buying a workout supplement, especially if you want to avoid jitters and energy crashes.

Ingredients in Shredz

  1. B Vitamins
  2. Choline
  3. Citrulline
  4. Taurine
  5. Beta alanine
  6. Betaine
  7. Tyrosine
  8. Caffeine
  9. Cocoa seed extract
  10. Huperzia serrata

3. Fitmiss Ignite

fitmiss ignite pre workout for women

Fitmiss IGNITE is pink all over and if you buy the strawberry flavor, you’ll have a pink drink too!

While it does contain some of the key ingredients we’re looking for in our list of best pre workouts for women, we deducted points due to proprietary blend and low dosing.

It also uses slightly cheap alternatives in its formula.

For example instead of using the Nitrate boosting Rednite, Fitmiss plumps for bog standard Beetroot.

Don’t get us wrong; we like that they used some really potent stuff in their formula, but we believe quantity should be balanced with quality.

Ingredients in Fitmiss Ignite

  1. Beta alanine as Carnosyn
  2. Choline
  3. Tyrosine
  4. Glycine
  5. Taurine
  6. L-Carnitine
  7. Beetroot
  8. Hawthorn berry powder
  9. Agmatine sulfate
  10. Caffeine
  11. Huperzine A standardized to 1%

Fitmiss also pumps out a great line of other supplements, including Tone.

  1. ENGN Shred Evlution Nutrition

engn shred pre workout for women

ENGN SHRED’s formula is amazingly detailed.

It has blends for the brain, fat burning, and energy.

The only gripe we have is it’s too complex for its own good.

You can only add so many ingredients before synergy starts to fall apart.

Then we also spot the likes of Yohimbe which is a no-no in a pre workout for women, as it comes with potential side effects.

Still, it’s a good product overall, but just not enough to earn #1.

Ingredients inENGN Shred Evlution Nutrition

  1. B Vitamins
  2. Folic acid
  3. Betaine
  4. Choline
  5. Tyrosine
  6. Agmatine Sulfate
  7. Alpha GPC
  8. Huperzia serrata
  9. Beta alanine
  10. Conjugated linoleic acid
  11. L-carnitine
  12. Coleus forskohlii
  13. Red pepper
  14. Yohimbe
  15. Caffeine
  16. Green tea extract

5.Pre Jym Jym Supplement Science

pre jym pre workout for women

Pre Jym is one of the best pre workouts in the market today.

Sadly, it’s not exactly built for women, not with its creatine content.

Then there’s also the issue of adding 300 mg of caffeine which is just too much in our opinion.

It could’ve done better if it used “clean” alternatives that won’t send you crashing.

Ingredients in Pre JYM JYM Supplement Science

  1. Creatine
  2. Beta alanine
  3. Betaine
  4. Taurine
  5. N-Acetyl L-Cysteine
  6. Alpha GPC
  7. Citrulline Malate
  8. Beetroot
  9. Leucine
  10. Isoleucine
  11. Valine
  12. Tyrosine
  13. Caffeine
  14. Huperzine
  15. Black pepper extract as BioPerine.

6.Unico Nutrition ATHENA Intense Pre Workout for women

athena intense pre workout for women

Athena is the Greek goddess of strategy and wisdom.

She is considered a goddess who represents strong-willed women and women who aren’t afraid to get a strong body too.

Athena Intense Pre Workout certainly has its female marketing all worked with a compelling backstory and brand.

Unfortunately we had to mark it down due to a lack of female friendly ingredients.

In fact the formula wouldn’t be out of place in a bodybuilders kitchen cupboard.

Overall we don’t think this one is a bad product.

However, we are not sure it is the best value due to the fact it only includes cheaper ingredients than many of its competitors.

Ingredients in Athena Intense Pre Workout

  1. Beta alanine
  2. Betaine
  3. Taurine
  4. N-Acetyl L-Cysteine
  5. Citrulline Malate
  6. Beet extract
  7. Leucine
  8. Valine
  9. Isoleucine
  10. Tyrosine
  11. Caffeine
  12. Huperzine A
  13. Black pepper as BioPerine

  1. Naked Energy

naked energy pre workout for women

The folks at Naked Nutrition seems to be all about creating simple yet effective supplements, and what describes their mantra better than Naked Energy, a pre workout that only uses four key ingredients. You read that right, just four.

This is clearly a breath of fresh air compared to many other supplements seeking to fill out the label. Is it any good, though? Yes, if you’re into creatine.

Otherwise, no.

Ingredients in Naked Energy

  1. Vitamin C
  2. B Vitamins
  3. Folate
  4. Calcium
  5. Beta alanine
  6. Creatine
  7. Arginine
  8. Caffeine

  1. Alani Nu Pre workout

alani nu pre workout

Alani Nu’s pre workout has a lot of flavors.

We have Hawaiian Shaved Ice, Rainbow Candy, Cotton Candy Grape, Mimosa, Blueberry Acai, Arctic White, Citrus Dew, and Aloha Pineapple.

Sems to us someone at Alani Nu is into tropical flavors.

Formula isn’t bad, just lacking some of the more essential stuff we want to see.

What we like about it, though, is how it made use of the popular Theanine-Caffeine combo at a 1:1 ratio, which presumably prevents any stimulant-related side effects.

Ingredients in Alani Nu Pre Workout

  1. Citrulline
  2. Beta alanine
  3. Tyrosine
  4. Caffeine
  5. Theanine

  1. Ladyboss fuel

ladyboss fuel pre workout for women

Right off the bat, Ladyboss fuel claims to be an all-natural jitter free pre workout that gives you instant motivation.

Based on the ingredients, it’s probably right since they did add a few herbs that help counter some of the side effects associated with caffeine.

It’s also pretty loaded and we’re sure a lot of people like this brand, but it has creatine tucked away in a neat prop blend.

Then it also has HMB, an ingredient known to work a lot like creatine in terms of getting muscle mass.

So, despite the feminine name and packaging we’re not entirely convinced this is the best for women.

Ingredients in Ladyboss Fuel

  1. Vitamin C
  2. B Vitamins
  3. Folic acid
  4. Calcium
  5. Citrulline
  6. HMB
  7. Beta alanine
  8. Creatine
  9. Tyrosine
  10. Ashwagandha
  11. Siberian Eleuthero Root Extract
  12. Rhodiola
  13. Caffeine
  14. Cymbidium Goeringii

  1. Pre Kaged Kaged Muscle

pre kaged pre workout for women

From the get-go, Pre Kaged seems to be a supplement women wouldn’t really want given the way they marketed it on their website.

However, a few do take men’s supplements and we think there’s nothing wrong with that.

If you’re looking for something that won’t bulk you, though, this ain’t it.

The formula is literally meant to build lots of mass and bulk.

Formula is high quality, though, and the dosing is pretty decent.

But again, we’re not looking for bulking here.

Ingredients in Pre Kaged Kaged Muscle

  1. B Vitamins
  2. Citrulline
  3. BCAA
  4. Leucine
  5. Beta alanine
  6. Caffeine
  7. Coconut water
  8. Betaine
  9. Taurine
  10. Tyrosine
  11. Creatine
  12. Antioxidants

  1. The Curse Cobra Labs

the curse pre workout for women

The Curse may seem like a weird brand to name your pre workout, but it’s actually quite popular.

Having said that it is quite evident that this product hasn’t been designed with a female audience in mind, the packaging is likely to be a little off putting if you’re a woman.

As far as the actual product is concerned, it only has six key ingredients and is meant to help your body live up to the challenge of lifting weights.

The things we didn’t like were the creatine content and the fact that they chose to hide their formula behind a prop blend.

Apart from that, it seems to be an effective pre workout.

If you’re interested, it offers seven flavors namely Tropical Storm, Orange Mango, Green Apple Envy, Blue Raspberry Ice, Lemon Rush, Watermelon Deluxe, and Pina Colada.

Ingredients in Curse Cobra Labs

  1. Beta Alanine
  2. Creatine
  3. Citrulline
  4. Arginine AKG
  5. Caffeine
  6. Olive leaf

  1. Warfare Medi Evil

medievil pre workout for women

This is one of those pre workouts we’re sure just does one major thing and that’s to pump you up.

It has arginine, citrulline, arginine AKG, and beetroot extract, ingredients known to drive your nitric oxide production to maximum.

It looks to be a decent product overall, but we’re looking for something that does more than just help you lift as not many women are into lifting that much anyway.

That and we don’t like that they added 300 mg of flavor powder into the mix.

That’s just crazy for something you’re supposed to take daily.

Ingredients in Warfare Medi Evil

  1. Vitamin B3
  2. Arginine
  3. Beta alanine
  4. Citrulline
  5. Arginine AKG
  6. Beetroot extract
  7. Caffeine
  8. Panax Ginseng
  9. Bioperine

  1. C4 Ripped

c4 pre workout for women

C4 Ripped is another popular pre workout that we think should be classified more as a fat burner than a pre workout.

Its prop blend formula contains more fat burners than actual pre workout ingredients.

While we do like fat burner supplements, these are totally different products which often prioritise appetite suppression over energy and strength benefits.

This pre-workout also has a rather unusual addition of Velvet Bean.

This little extract is for testosterone production, so we’re sure it’s aimed more at men than women.

Ingredients in C4 Ripped

  1. Beta alanine
  2. Arginine AKG
  3. L-Carnitine
  4. Green Coffee Bean
  5. Cayenne
  6. Coleus forskohlii
  7. NALT
  8. Caffeine
  9. Velvet bean

  1. Gold Standard Pre Workout Optimum Nutrition

gold standard pre workout for women

Optimum Nutrition is one of those companies that have earned the right to call themselves one of the best established in the supplement industry.

They use high quality and branded ingredients matched with clinical dosages.

Their Gold Standard Pre Workout is a reliable supplement that should offer some benefits to both men and women.

Ingredients in ON Gold Standard Pre Workout

  1. B Vitamins
  2. Folic acid
  3. Vitamin D
  4. Creatine
  5. Astragalus membranaceus
  6. Panax ginseng
  7. Citrulline
  8. Beta Alanine
  9. ALCAR
  10. NALT
  11. Caffeine
  12. Citrus bioflavonoids

  1. Assault Muscle Pharm

assault muscle pharm pre workout for women

Assault is a straight-to-the-point kind of pre workout that does away with the unnecessary fluff and puts emphasis on high quality dosing of its key ingredients.

We see some of our favorite pre workout names, but we also notice it has a lot of creatine.

If you can stomach the creatine content, then you should give this pre workout a try.

Ingredients in Assault Muscle Pharm

  1. Vitamin C
  2. Vitamin E
  3. B vitamins
  4. Creatine
  5. Beta alanine
  6. Taurine
  7. Glycine
  8. Caffeine
  9. ALCAR

Conclusion

Our list is made up of a mix of popular and up-and-coming brands all vying to be the best pre workout for women. In all honesty there just aren’t that many products that have been created solely for the needs of females.

As a result you will see a number of unisex energy supplements in our list.

These are products that we feel are not too high in stimulants nor ingredients that cause you to retain water.

And with that, we concluded POWHER to be the best pre workout for women’s weight loss.

We’ve based that on the fact that it genuinely provides fat loss benefits without using cheap stimulants or bulking ingredients.

MX Male Review: Does It Really Work?

mx male enhancement reviewSince before we ever knew, men were trying to sow their oats in every woman they came across.

It might not be any different from today.

However, when you want to do the deed, but are unable to finish, then this could mean a lot of problems for you in the long run.

You want to showcase your manly glory, but if you’re feeling less than manly, you may have a problem.

It is always good to consider male enhancement pills and supplements and MX Male is one that you may see advertised on the market.

If you’re interested to know if this can help you boost that bedroom scene and really get you going, then find out more with our review.

We are going to help you determine if MX Male is the supplement after your own heart.

What is MX Male?

Classified as a sexual stimulant, this natural male enhancer supplement has all natural ingredients that work to boost testosterone levels in the body.

This then helps the body respond as it should, while also increasing the length and girth of the penis (as described by the ads and information for the product).

This product is there to provide you with that boost you need in the bedroom to jump start your drive, while also helping you get more blood to your member in order to perform.

Many men have this issue and MX Male states that they are able to help.

MX Male Ingredients

All of the ingredients are natural, but not all of them are active ingredients in the product.

Those that are come with a natural boost to the body when the supplement is taken and used.

Here are a few of those natural ingredients that come in the product and are main ingredients that help.

Horny Goat Weed –Used to increase blood flow to the penis, causing longer, harder erections; the supplement has been used since the beginning of time in many ancient practices around the world.

It has also been said that it can help with premature ejaculation and help the male last longer in bed, giving more pleasure than ever before. (Reference: 1)

Panax Ginseng –Indirectly working, this helps to peak and improve sexualperformance overall.

This allows the man to get the many benefits of having better sexual arousal, while also boosting the drive that he has.

It has been shown to help men with premature ejaculation that may happen when the penis head is stimulated too much. (Reference: 2)

Maca Root –Maca root comes with many benefits, some of them not related to sexual health at all.

It can help to increase the endurance of the person while in the bedroom, and also increase libido to a high level.

This allows the man to perform much better in the bedroom. (Reference: 3)

Saw Palmetto Berry –By reducing fatigue, the person is then able to perform better in the bedroom.

The berry not only helps with endurance and performance but helps the man last longer in the bedroom.

This is especially helpful to the woman that may want to have an orgasm.

There are also studies that show that it can help to reduce the prostate, resulting in better orgasms and better overall health. (Reference: 4)

MX Male Side Effects

Side effects are known for almost every vitamin or supplement that you choose to take.

This is because everything that is put in your body should be considered before doing so.

Sensitivities, allergies, and other issues to the supplements can cause issues to happen. This is why it is recommended that the person that wishes to take the supplement to consult with their healthcare provider to find out if this is the best supplement for them to take based on their health background, the supplements and medications they currently take and other factors.

The medical professional can provide further direction.

  • Erections are able to happen at any point in time, no matter where you are when they happen. This might make a man self-conscious depending on his particular location.
  • The erections that you get can last for up to or more than four hours.

However, if they last for much longer than this, seek medical attention.
  • Dizziness
  • Gastrointestinal issues
  • Head and body aches
  • Vision loss
  • Sudden changes in hearing

If you experience any significant side effects because of the product, stop use and seek medical attention right away.

Related ArticleVirility Intense Review: 8 Things You Should Know

Some of the natural ingredients can cause side effects of their own.

For example: Horny Goat Weed can cause a sudden drop in blood pressure, so those with blood pressure issues shouldn’t take anything that has this supplement in it.

It is not recommended that anyone taking any medications or other supplements take MX Male, as it can be dangerous to mix this supplement with others.

While it is a natural supplement and the side effects are minimal for some because of this, it is still important to be aware of any negative symptoms you’re experiencing while using the product.

These can be discussed with your healthcare provider.

Natural ingredient based supplements definitely do carry less side effects for the most part, but even still they can cause certain undesirable effects and should be closely monitored.

Further research should be done to find out if this is the right supplement for you.

Male MX FAQ

Can I try it before I buy it?

Many of the online websites that provide supplements and other male enhancement products can provide the user with samples for them to try.

However, the samples will not be enough to show you whether or not the product will work, as you need to take them for some time to see results.

Purchasing a smaller bottle to try for yourself is the only way to find out if the product is for you.

How long does it take to work?

Once you start taking the supplement, you can expect to see results within 3 to 4 weeks of taking the product.

Unfortunately, it is not an immediate release type of medication that you can see results with right away.

Is Male MX FDA approved?

As with any supplement or natural dietary product on the market, Male MX is not FDA approved at this point in time.

Will Male MX help make me bigger?

Many of the supplements and natural ingredients found in the product do claim to provide a thicker, longer erection but as far as actually growing, this is debatable as not enough research has been done on the subject.

Who is Male MX made for?

Male MX is made for men over the age of 30 years old.

It is not approved for anyone under the age of 21 and it is not recommended any male under the age of 30 take it, as it won’t provide the same benefits.

Can I buy Male MX in stores?

You can currently only purchase Male MX online.

Is Male MX safe for me to take?

Male MX can be safe to take if you take it under the supervision of a medical professional that states it could possibly help.

Additionally, you should never take more than is instructedon the bottle and always keep it out of reach of children. Take the product as instructed to do so on the bottle and always with water.

You want to also keep in mind any negative effects and warnings that are printed on the bottle prior to taking.

Natural supplements can have adverse reactions inside many people, so always note how you feel while taking the product.

Never exceed the recommended dose and it is a good idea to make sure with your doctor that Male MX does not have bad interactions with prescription medicines that you are already on.

Pros and Cons of Male MX

Pros:

  • It is said to provide a harder, longer erection
  • It can possibly help with erectile dysfunction
  • It can possibly help with premature ejaculation
  • It increases your overall energy levels
  • It can improve and increase libido levels
  • Even if the physical effects are not very strong, it can provide a better overall sexual confidence in the bedroom

Cons:

  • It is not approved for men under 30
  • It can come with serious side effects depending on the person
  • It can only be purchased online
  • Few studies have been done on this product
  • It can react with different medications, so those on anything cannot use this supplement

Is Male MX Worth it?

Many want to believe that anything would happen to work for them because they do not want to worry about their erectile dysfunction issues.

Due to this, the product is thought to work great.

However, whether it is all in their head or actually curing something is debatable, as studies have not shown otherwise.

There are many side effects that you should keep in mind before taking it because you want to make sure you’re being safe while doing so.

Speaking with your healthcare provider before you do so can provide you with more insight on whether or not this is the best supplement for you to use.

Overall, this supplement may be best for some men over the age of 30 that are wrestling with penile issues and premature ejaculation.

Otherwise, those that are under the age of 30, on medications, have health conditions or other issues should consider using something else that may be safer.

Magnum TRT Review: Does It Really Work?

Magnum TRT Overview

magnum trt reviewStudies have shown that since before the dawn of time men would have problems with erectile dysfunction, as well as a myriad of other sexual-related issues.

Not only that, but these men that were supposed to be producing heirs were actually having trouble doing the deed at all. Take Louis XVI of France for instance.

He was dealing with what they feel is erectile dysfunction and premature ejaculation.

Had Magnum TRT, or an assortment of other male enhancement supplements been around in this time, he may have been able to have a more fulfilling sex life with his wife, Marie Antoinette.

The male enhancement and performance supplements on the market are becoming more popular than ever.

Even those men that just want to last longer and go harder are finding benefits that come with these supplements.

Learning more about the benefits that come with each one can benefit you and provide you with the supplement that is going to help your problem.

Magnum TRT is one of those supplements that are offering powerful benefits to men that want better, long-lasting performance.

What is Magnum TRT?

https://www.supplementcritique.com/wp

This is a recently-released male enhancement and performance supplement that comes with positive reviews from those that have already used it.

The supplement works to augment testosterone to provide a more powerful ejaculation, while also improving continuance time.

This provides the body with a powerful surge so that your sex drive works overtime as it never has before.

It works to provide more blood flow to those areas that it is needed while building testosterone levels to increase libido.

This method of action is not that much different than a lot of the other similar products out there that you may be familiar with if you have tried similar supplements, but let’s take a closer look at what it’s made of to see just how different it really is, if it all.

Magnum TRT Ingredients

https://www.supplementcritique.com/wp content/uploads/2019/01/untitled

The ingredients that are found in Magnum TRT are natural and generally safe for users to use.

The three main ingredients claim to provide better overall sexual satisfaction in men that use the products, while also being supplements that are naturally found in nature.

Two of them are what I would consider staples when it comes to male enhancement supplements with only one of the ingredients being a bit of a head scratcher, but it still is apparently effective.

Tongkat Ali –Also known as Malaysian Ginseng, this natural supplement comes from evergreen-like trees in forests.

The bark and roots are the part of the plant that is used throughout countries as a healing property when made into a tea.

It is said to provide help with erectile dysfunction and help to increase sex drives.

Though there have not been many studies done on this supplement, WebMD states that it provides a boost in testosterone through the body, which is why it can provide the benefits that it does.

Horny Goat Weed –Used for centuries, mostly in Chinese herbal remedies and medicine, this supplement provides a multitude of help in many different areas.

The most used reason for this particular supplement is to treat erectile dysfunction in men. Since it is safe to use and easy to collect, it provides a safe alternative to chemical medications.

WebMD states that this helps to increase blood flow to the penis, allowing for stronger, longer and harder erections.

Nettle Root Extract –Used as a natural remedy for thousands of years, and, according to WebMD has been used to treat prostate issues in men. It is also used in a number of other urinary issues that men generally face throughout their lifetime.

Using this supplement can help to reduce the size of the prostate and make it easier for men to urinate. Reference:3

As with any supplement or natural remedy that you take, there are always side effects and other things you should keep an eye out for.

Most of the side effects that come with Magnum TRT are mild, while others can be more serious but are very rare.

  • Breast enlargement
  • Oily skin or acne
  • Fluid retention and weight gain
  • Increased risk of blood clots

Additionally, supplements such as Horny Goat Weed can cause a decrease in blood pressure and gastrointestinal issues such as upset stomach, diarrhea or nausea.

Nettle Root Extract can cause a drop in blood sugar levels, so those that have diabetes may want to consider taking a supplement that does not have this additive in it.

It can also have adverse effects on the kidneys, while also reducing the chances of having blood clot in an effective way.

Those that are taking the medication Valium should not use this supplement as it can cause the levels in the bloodstream to go to dangerously high levels.

This can be fatal.

It is important that anyone that wants to try this supplement speak with their healthcare provider prior to taking it.

Knowing the risks associated with the medication, especially those that may be allergic to any of the additives or may have a negative reaction to the medication is important.

Additionally, taking this supplement with medication is not recommended, as it can cause an unfavorable chemical reaction.

Cramp Defense Review: Will It End Leg Cramps?

Recently I was scrolling through my Yahoo news feed, getting my usual news fix for the day, when I came across the following ad:

cramp defense ad on yahoo

I don’t typically suffer from leg cramps at night, but I do suffer from them after a long day of playing beach volleyball (more on that below).

With that said, 90 million people do suffer from them on a nightly basis.

At the request of one of my visitors, I decided to look into this one a little more deeply.

What Is Cramp Defense?

cramp defense reviewAccording to their website, Cramp Defense is a once daily tablet that’s designed to “end leg cramps forever”.

They correctly cite that the primary cause of leg cramps is a deficiency of a primary mineral: Magnesium.

According to them, they claim that most magnesium supplements in stores are often injected with unnecessary fillers, don’t absorb well, and often cause an array of side effects.

I can tell you from personal experience that there’s some truth to this. I’ve been taking Magnesium supplements on and off for the last 10 years or so.

Many of them work well at keeping cramps at bay, but often the side effects make it not worth it.

Some of the most common side effects include things like:

  • Diarrhea
  • Muscle weakness
  • Upset stomach / nausea
  • Low blood pressure

My Personal Battle With Leg Cramps

If you’ve been following this blog for any length of time, you know that I’m a pretty avid beach volleyball player.

rob miller playing volleyball

I’ve been playing competitive beach volleyball since I was about 13 or so, and continue to do so today (I’m 37 years old).

As I’ve gotten older, I’ve noticed that leg cramps have become a problem.

In fact, I was playing in a beach co-ed tournament a couple of years back with my wife and had a MAJOR cramping episode.

We had been playing all day, there wasn’t a cloud in the sky, it was about 90 degrees all day, and the humidity level was hovering somewhere around 40%.

We ended up making it to the finals, where we unfortunately lost to a couple that was about 10 years younger than us.

leg cramp episode
But we did win a new volleyball and a blanket!

On the ride home after the tournament, I started to feel a foot cramp coming on, so I decided to pull over and try and “walk it off”.

Well, about 5 seconds after stepping out of the car, I had a full body cramp.

The kind where your entire body locks up.

The kind where, when you start getting a cramp in one area and try to stretch it out, you get a cramp in the opposing muscle.

It looked a bit like this:

[youtube https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ALHObkStAt0]

Needless to say, it’s probably the worst pain I’ve ever experienced in my life.

I would imagine it’s like being shot by a taser.

I told my wife to call for an ambulance, and I spent the next few hours in the emergency room with a couple of IV bags and a sleeve of pringles.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does Dr. Oz Recommend Cramp Defense?

https://www.supplementcritique.com/wp content/uploads/2019/01/09

There’s several mentions of Dr. Oz in both the marketing literature for Cramp Defense, as well as on the official website.

It’s pretty clear that he didn’t endorse the pills directly, they simply cite him as saying that severe magnesium deficiency is the #1 cause of nighttime muscle cramps.

What Are The Ingredients In Cramp Defense?

https://www.supplementcritique.com/wp

According to the label, the only ingredient is magnesium. (see a snapshot of the label here)

It contains 70 mg of magnesium per pill, which is equal to about 17% of the daily suggested amount.

What Is Truemag?

https://www.supplementcritique.com/wp

The #1 selling point of Cramp Defense is that it doesn’t contain any old sort of magnesium.

Rather, it contains a specific type of magnesium called TrueMag.

So what is exactly is it?

Details are sketchy, but the official website claims that it is “a fully reacted magnesium bound to malate, which is the form of magnesium used by nature in fruit and vegetables.”

The theory is that it will absorb better than most other magnesium supplements, allowing you to take in more without it going to waste.

I ran a search on the US Patent And Trademark office to see exactly who was behind it, and it looks like the principle owner of Truemag is a company called MgBright LLC.

How do I take it?

https://www.supplementcritique.com/wp content/uploads/2019/01/jhj

The directions on the label state that you should take 1 – 6 capsules per day, and you can even take as many as 9.

Obviously this will vary depending on the individual, but healthline does a pretty good job of giving you the average of how much you should take per day.

daily magnesium intake recommendations
Source: Healthline.com

So for someone like myself, who’s 37 years old, based on the above chart it looks like I would need to take about 6 capsules per day.

My Personal Dosage Recommendation

On a personal note, I would suggest you stick to the lowest dose possible, and spread out your intake throughout the day.

Taking too much magnesium at once is not a good idea, both from an absorption standpoint as well as a side effect standpoint.

Also keep in mind that it’s not an overnight miracle. It will likely take a couple of weeks for your body to stabilize your magnesium levels, so don’t expect it to start working right away.

Who makes it?

https://www.supplementcritique.com/wp content/uploads/2019/01/jhj

The manufacturer behind Cramp Defense is a company called MgBright LLC, a company located in Houston, Texas.

There are numerous customer complaints on the Better Business Bureau website, all stemming from billing issues.

Where can I buy it?

From my research, it looks like the only place you can purchase Cramp Defense is on their official website (www.CrampDefense.com), and Amazon.

The price varies on each, and comes out to:

On their official website: $29.91

Amazon: $38.99

Of course, when I saw it on their site they were running a $10 off promotion.

So there’s a good chance that their website price will go up in the future.

It’s also important to note that, as of this review, you won’t be able to find Cramp Defense in stores like CVS, Walgreens, Rite Aid, or Costco.

Of course, this could change in the future, and I will update this review accordingly.

Is it a bit too expensive?

For a magnesium supplement, I think it’s a bit overpriced.

Using the example I stated above, let’s assume that I have to take 6 capsules per day.

There’s 180 capsules in one bottle of Cramp Defense, so that’s a 30 day supply.

The price for one bottle is $29.91, which in theory sounds cheap.

However, when you start comparing it to even the most highly rated brands on Amazon, you’ll see that it’s really expensive when stacked up to the competition.

Take Hylands for example.

hylands vs cramp defense

The average price for this leg cramp relief supplement is $8.97 for a 100 count bottle.

The reviews (of which there are 1300 of them), are nearly all 5 stars.

hylands leg cramp reviews on amazon

Of course, the reviews on Cramp Defense are very good as well.

Still, if it does what it claims, and does so without the added side effects, it might actually be worth paying the premium.

Recommendation

https://www.supplementcritique.com/wp content/uploads/2019/01/jhj

Leg cramps are no laughing matter. They affect nearly 10 million Americans every day, and I happen to be one of those people.

If it actually does what it says it does, then there’s no doubt that it might be worth trying out.

I actually plan on trying out Cramp Defense in the near future, and will update this review accordingly.

If you’ve used Cramp Defense and would like to share your personal experience, please leave your review below!

Priligy (Dapoxetine) Review: Does It Really Work?

What is Priligy aka Dapoxetine?

https://www.supplementcritique.com/wp

One of our site visitors was kind enough to send his full review of Priligy (aka Dapoxetine), a drug specifically used to treat premature ejaculation issues.

Read his results below:

Dapoxetine manufacturers say it will delay ejaculation, indeed it does exactly what they say it will.
For that it gets five stars. It starts working in thirty to forty-five minutes; the effect will dissipate in around an hour and a half.
Would I recommend this to a friend? Yes. A very qualified yes, ONLY if you really need it.
Yes if you need it: Otherwise avoid it.
I cannot emphasize that enough, unless you really need it, don’t take it.

That’s a question only you can answer.
dapoxetine review
My long term lady friend and I are not the ideal couple to use or even test dapoxetine. I do not have premature ejaculation. Like a great many men I was curious if I could last longer on it and maybe it might make what I could do even better. I did last longer, too much longer.

I didn’t like it and my long term lady didn’t like it either.

Is It Legal?

https://www.supplementcritique.com/wp content/uploads/2019/01/38462436_2141318649517979_8190462776175493120_n

Another caution, dapoxetine is a drug and has been approved in over fifty countries, but NOT the United States.

The FDA is not in any hurry to put dapoxetine on any kind of fast track. You may be able to get a prescription in the States, but you will likely have to fill it through a foreign pharmacy. Even if all this works, and you have it sent to you from a foreign source you can incur legal problems or U.S.

Customs can stop it at the border. It isn’t worth these risks unless you really have premature ejaculation and need treatment. Dapoxetine may be approved in the U.S. in 2019, but it is still in the later phases of FDA trials.

Priligy (Dapoxetine) Ingredients

Dapoxetine is available in three preparations of which this author is aware: by itself in 30 or 60 mg doses, in combination with tadalafil (aka Cialis) at 30 or 60 mg dapoxetine to 20 mg tadalafil; or in combination with sildenafil at the same mg for dapoxetine but fifty to a hundred mg (mg=milligrams) of sildenafil. If you order it what you will get will most likely be made in India, some of it under the trade name of Tadapox. Dapoxetine itself is also marketed under the names Priligy or Westoxetin.

Priligy is relatively well known in the U.S. already so it stands to reason many in the States are using it or at least have tried it.

What Is Premature Ejaculation?

https://www.supplementcritique.com/wp content/uploads/2019/01/38462436_2141318649517979_8190462776175493120_n

Any supplement or drug used for premature ejaculation, hereinafter also referred to as PE, requires a man to answer two essential questions:
1. What is premature ejaculation and do I have it?
2. Am I a good candidate for this drug, or supplement?
Truthfully I would have to answer no to both questions, I tried it essentially to learn how sex on it felt like. When a drug maker tells you not to use a drug unless you really need it, they’re right. My own experience with it only serves to reinforce that.

If you do need it dapoxetine may work for you, or you may want to try a similar drug such as sertraline.
Premature ejaculation has two categories, lifelong and acquired. Each have the same result. A man ejaculates within one minute after vaginal penetration, or is unable all the time or nearly all the time to delay ejaculation during intercourse.

A man may unintentionally condition himself to ejaculate too soon if he has erectile dysfunction or avoids intercourse due to anxiety and performance problems. If the latter by the time he has an opportunity for sex he may be ready and have an erection capable of penetration but bangs away rapid fire to ejaculate before he loses his erection. This can be addressed with counseling in combination with supplements or drugs to help maintain a strong erection.
A man with lifelong PE usually ejaculates within a minute after vaginal penetration and has done so since his first intercourse. If he can delay ejaculation during mastubatory activity chances are his problem may be more in his mind than body. Counseling and an understanding woman can help.

If he cannot delay ejaculation during masturbation, his ejaculatory condition may be biological.

Biological Causes of Premature Ejaculation

https://www.supplementcritique.com/wp content/uploads/2019/01/38462436_2141318649517979_8190462776175493120_n

Biological causes of premature ejaculation can be inherited traits, neurotransmitter or hormonal imbalance, or the result of a prostate problem. Prostate problems can be abnormal pressure on the prostate, the result of surgery, or inflammation or infection. The latter is generally called prostatitis, which is a common term for temporary prostate maladies. If you have PE and feel a fullness or swelling I your perineal region, that is likely a prostate problem. For those men whose PE is caused by infection or inflammation of the prostate gland, treat the infection and relieve the inflammation and your PE will go away. Hormonal or neurotransmitter imbalances will have to be addressed by a competent physician. For any biological cause of premature ejaculation you will need to see a doctor, preferably a urologist.

If your PE is acquired a combination of counseling, prescriptions, and an understanding woman can fix it over time.
Acquired PE develops over time for any number of reasons. Dapoxetine may be a part of a treatment plan in conjunction with counseling and/or an erectile dysfunction medication or supplement. Whatever the cause dapoxetine may be an option for you. Gents out there who are like me and merely curious as to whether dapoxatine can turn three to five minutes of penetrative sex into fifteen to thirty, forget it! Look elsewhere or refine your sex techniques with the woman in your life. Trust me, the latter takes a great deal of time, but it’s definitely worth the effort!

Does Priligy (Dapoxetine) Really Work?
https://www.supplementcritique.com/wp content/uploads/2019/01/38462436_2141318649517979_8190462776175493120_n

Beware your expectations. Men may expect to last fifteen or twenty minutes after intromission with the help of dapoxetine. The time after penetration is also called IELT for intravaginal ejaculation latency time, meaning the length of time the erect penis is inside the vagina after penetration. You don’t have to believe what I say, but check it out for yourself, an IELT of over five minutes is more the exception than the rule. I am not a good candidate for dapoxetine, my own IELT is well past that, especially for a man my age. I’m lucky there.

The instructions for dapoxetine clearly state a man who can last longer than a minute or two after intromission should not use dapoxetine. My own IELT can be anywhere from three to forty minutes, though on most occasions my time is between seven and twelve minutes. Guys if you can’t do that, please understand I am the exception NOT the rule.

If you can last longer, do so. We never stop learning about sex & you learn by doing.
The average time a man with PE has his erect penis inside a woman is a single minute. The stats say dapoxetine doubles that.

So what? One minute inside her is now two. Most men trying to manage, and more importantly manage a cure for, PE don’t want to spend money if all they’re going to get for their trouble is another minute.

Dapoxetine was introduced as a antidepressant, it’s effective quickly, but also dissipates quickly. Other antidepressants such as sertraline, brand name Zoloft may be a better option. That entire class of antidepressants has an off label use for premature ejaculation. Consult a urologist, he could likely direct you to a more effective drug for PE than dapoxetine.
Being a drug and not a supplement dapoxetine is regulated by the Food and Drug Administration, FDA. It is an SSRI, selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor, this affects a man’s mood and his degree of sexual response while taking the drug. Dapoxetine has a half life of about an hour and thirty minutes; meaning it will begin to lose its effect an hour to an hour and a half after you take it.
Like many male sex enhancing drugs or supplements, dapoxetine started out as a treatment for something else. Dapoxetine was developed as an antidepressant, not a treatment for PE, because dapoxetine is effective within half an hour and is not effective beyond a couple of hours at most, it is prescribed as a PE treatment as well.

Possible Side Effects

https://www.supplementcritique.com/wp content/uploads/2019/01/38462436_2141318649517979_8190462776175493120_n

Those who try a combination of dapoxetine with anything, the effect of dapoxetine will wear off before that of sildenafil or tadalafil. After the tadalafil/dapoxetine pill I took, the dapoxetine effect was gone completely after the first hour and a half. Tadalafil was going strong and not fully dissipated until the next day. If you want to experiment, in all probability this will be a trial and error process of months or even longer, you may be able to calculate the timing to a point during intercourse when you have your erect penis inside her vagina at a point when the a day is wearing off and the tadalafil is still going strong, if so you will be too. That may also be an awful lot of effort, frustration, disappointment, and heartache for both of you as a couple.

If you want to try that, do so, also be prepared for disappointment.
A study by the International Society for Sexual Medicine, ISSM, reports that dapoxetine has a high discontinuation rate. Even in countries where dapoxetine is approved insurance companies don’t often cover it, making it costly. Men get tired of taking it every time they want to have sex; the benefits do not outweigh the problems. Getting the timing right with a woman is difficult; trying to assess when the dapoxetine will wear off and the tadalafil remain active would be of great help, but would require more experimenting and expense than most can afford.

My Personal Experience

https://www.supplementcritique.com/wp content/uploads/2019/01/38462436_2141318649517979_8190462776175493120_n
My first time dapoxetine experiment I took my 20 mg tadalafil/60 mg dapoxetine on an empty stomach; it was effective in 20 minutes. (Bet you thought I’d never get to this part, didn’t you?) I gave it another ten to be sure and began stimulation. I think most of the you would agree the frenulum is the most sensitive part of a man’s penis; certainly is with me. It took a full five minutes of tactile stimulation to produce an erection—and another four minutes to get hard enough for penetration.

On tadalafil only my penis erects in half that time. Dapoxetine allows a certain amount of penile sensitivity to remain on the shaft of the penis, the corona, and around the coronal ridge, but the frenulum is completely desensitized, no sexual response at all. I might as well have been rubbing my shins. Had I wanted to try I could probably have set a record. This was NOT fun as it should be, getting off was a chore. There was enough stimulus/response that I kept my erection, but only because other parts of my penis were still responsive, less so than usual, but still responsive. Ordinarily my frenulum is the orgasm trigger, increased or decreased stimulation on that area of my penis, and if you’re like most men your own penis as well, is how I regulate the time until orgasm or ejaculation.

Those two are not necessarily the same thing, but that is another discussion. When I feel myself approaching the point of no return I stop or alter the degree of arousal to delay my ejaculation. On dapoxetine there is no need to. That part of the penis is not numb, but for the lack of sexual response there it might as well be. Only will great and vigorous stimulation elsewhere on my shaft did I rope the moon.
I am an extraordinarily lucky man I that my much younger long term relationship girlfriend has put up with me for any number of reasons including but not limited to sexual performance, or the lack if it. After my long, unpleasant solo flight that was more work than not, I was ultra reluctant to try the tadalafil/dapoxetine combo with her. She was ready and willing to try even after I told her it might turn into work for both of us. She smilingly said, “Well you don’t know, what if we can last an hour that way?” I thought, well OK, this could turn into more work than fun, but we can try.
We got naked and got after it. I had taken the tadalafil dapoxetine pill and we waited until I felt the effect to start actual stimulation, arousal was already present. A naked woman will do that. My penis erected to steel hardness in three minutes thirty-seven seconds, a naked woman will do that too. We did our usual foreplay, mouth here, hand there; I eased my erect penis inside after fifteen minutes of foreplay. It had not gone down but needed stroking stimulation from her all over to stay erect.

When I was inside the full length the sensation was unlike anything I’d felt before. Ordinarily I feel her silky wet pressure evenly all over my shaft. As I thrust, and she bucks back the greatest sexual response comes from my frenulum. I can feel arousal emanating from the head and coronal ridge as well as all around the shaft three or so inches down from tip. But again, the key to arousal, stimulation, and response is my frenulum, that wonderful loose skin that hangs from the tip on the underside of penis.

That’s what I feel ordinarily. On tadalafil/dapoxetine all my sensitivity was diminished, especially the most sensitive part. I could feel her slick wet pressure there, but I might as well have been rubbing a rock for all the response, or pleasure, I had. We had sex, but it was work sex. We were at it for forty minutes, she orgasmed twice. She has touch signals she gives me when she wants me to ejaculate. This time it was like I was passing the checkered flag at the ‘napville 500 but I kept making laps after I’d won the race, seeing the checkered flag but somehow never crossing the finish line. To ejaculate inside her, which I did, we had to use some acrobatics of which we had not afore used and will not use again. She was tired and wanted to stop. I believe I ejaculated when I did because the dapoxetine was wearing off. With tadalafil I was still hard, and stayed hard after ejaculation and withdrawal. I greased it and eased it back in.

We made a literally half-assed attempt at another piece of ass. She was moaning, but tired. I was hard, but the sensations were weird and my best six was getting raw. We quit. We’re it not for dapoxetine we would have had two quite blissful sex encounters in one night with at least one orgasm each time for both of us. This time we had one long screw and got skrewed.

It was work.

Should You Try Priligy (Dapoxetine)?

https://www.supplementcritique.com/wp content/uploads/2019/01/priligy 30mg 6 tablets_1

In conclusion, dapoxetine does do what it says it will, delays ejaculation. The time spent during that delay may be fun, or it may be unpleasant, uncomfortable, and a few other more vulgar adjectives. I recommend dapoxetine only, repeat only if you really need it. If you are one of the men who do, there’s no shame I it, if your foot went numb all of a sudden you would seek treatment.

Premature ejaculation is no different and affects 20% of all men at sometime or other. The ISSM study even exposed yet unexplained cultural differences. The ‘I say old chap’ Brits of what is left of their Empire last longer than Turks, indeed have the longest IELT of any nationality in the study, including U.S. gents. That should give some comfort to men who have PE because that alone demonstrates there is much about premature ejaculation that is unexplained because we simply don’t know. If you are among those who need it, consult with a urologist. We’re all different.

Dapoxetine may work for you; a doctor could also guide you to Zoloft (sertraline) or another in that class of antidepressants that have recognized off label use as effective for PE. I wish you well.

GNC Total Lean Burn 60 Review

What Is GNC Total Lean Burn?

It’s estimated that one in three Americans are obese, with this figure continually rising.

In this climate, the number of weight loss supplements on the market has risen. But there are several bogus pills for every legitimate fat-burning supplement.

Right now, the marketplace is dominated by a number of key players of which GNC is one.

But are GNC’s supplements all their cracked up to be?

In this Total Lean Burn review, we’ll first evaluate the ingredients in the supplement.

Then we’ll look closely at the pros and cons, to determine whether it really can deliver what it says on the label!

total lean burn 60 review

Now, this particular diet pill, GNC Total Lean Burn is delivered in white packaging which red tablets.

And we are sure the manufacturers have done this in order to give the product a medicinal feel and promote an allusion of efficacy.

According to GNC, Total Lean Burn is a safe and effective supplement.

It’s designed to boost metabolism, torch calories and elevate energy levels.

It claims to do this through its clinically proven thermogenic formula which they claim can increase calorie burning by up to 60%!

Let’s find out if that’s true….

Who Should Use GNC Total Lean burn 60?

https://www.supplementcritique.com/wp content/uploads/2019/01/untitled

GNC Total Lean has been designed for those seeking to lose weight and burn fat.

It claims to work by using thermogenesis, which is basically the raising of the body’s core temperature.

This means the body burns calories in order to try and bring down the temperature.

However, we are advised that the supplement should be taken alongside the healthy diet and exercise program included with the product.

This is to ensure that you do indeed achieve the “best results.” So sitting on the couch is not going to cut it with this fat burner.

The website advises that users should take two tablets, 30 minutes to an hour before starting exercise on workout days.

On non-workout days, they should take two tablets with water before breakfast.

This supplement is not suitable to be taken prior to bedtime.

We assume, because of the high caffeine content.

Who makes Total Lean Burn 60?

https://www.supplementcritique.com/wp content/uploads/2019/01/untitled

As you might have realised Total Lean Burn is an own brand product of infamous supplement company GNC.

GNC is located in Pittsburgh, PA (US) and is considered to be a leading global retailer, specializing in health, wellness and performance products.

These include weight loss and performance supplements and vitamins.

GNC is a well-trusted brand with many loyal customers and successful products, including GNC Lean Shake Burn.

What Are the Ingredients in GNC Total Lean Burn?

There are just seven core ingredients in this supplement with a low overall dose of fat burning extracts.

total lean burn 60 ingredients label

Therefore, it very much fits into the budget end of the fat-burning market, something that is a little at odds with their pharmaceutical type design.

Now, it is the formula that is the key part of any supplement…

And, if the formula is weak or ineffective, then the whole exercise of buying a fat burner can be a waste of your time and money.

The only way to know for certain is to investigate the ingredients list in detail whilst not always take claims at face value.

In this section, we look closely at each ingredient to determine its true benefits, if any, for fat burning.

Guarana Seed Extract 495 mg (180 mg caffeine)

https://www.supplementcritique.com/wp content/uploads/2019/01/untitled

This is a plant native to Brazil and the Amazon Basin.

It is a climbing plant and its fruit is considered beneficial.

This ingredient is rich in antioxidants and can help improve focus and reduce fatigue.

There is some evidence to suggest guarana seed extract may help achieve weight loss by inhibiting fat cell production.

This is due to the caffeine and stimulant content in the fruit, which helps boost metabolism and achieve thermogenesis.

Unfortunately, this ingredient also has some potential side effects when consumed in such high doses.

With high doses of caffeine there is often potential for symptoms such as shaking, headaches, insomnia and an upset stomach.

Black Tea Leaves Extract 272 mg

https://www.supplementcritique.com/wp content/uploads/2019/01/untitled

While green tea extract is considered the guru of weight-loss ingredients, black tea leaves extract is not known for the same benefits.

Black tea may work in a similar way to other high caffeine ingredients, by boosting metabolism and raising core body temperature.

That being said, the caffeine content of black tea is not as high as guarana.

MegaNatural Grape Skin and Seed Extract 210 mg

https://www.supplementcritique.com/wp content/uploads/2019/01/untitled

This ingredient seems to be increasingly used in health and weight loss supplements.

It has antioxidant properties, which means that at the very least this extract will promote wellbeing.

But there is not much evidence to suggest it has any fat burning power.

The same is true for MegaNatural Gold Grape Extract, which is listed separately on the label.

Ginger Root Extract 200 mg

https://www.supplementcritique.com/wp content/uploads/2019/01/untitled

Ginger has several health benefits, including the reduction of inflammation and boosting of the immune system.

This may be useful if you engage in intense exercise.

Whilst this certainly isn’t the worst ingredient we’ve ever seen we would have to question the purpose of including it.

We don’t see any specific benefits when it comes to appetite suppression or metabolism boosting with this one.

Dill Weed Extract 5 mg

https://www.supplementcritique.com/wp content/uploads/2019/01/untitled

Dill weed can aid digestion and also act as a mood lifter, making it beneficial, both physically and mentally.

We actually like the inclusion of this ingredient as lowering stress and cortisol is proven to help reduce fat storage.

However, at a dose of just 5mg we think this ingredient is very unlikely to offer noticeable benefits.

Total Lean Burn Reviews

GNC’s total Lean Burn has a large number of reviews on the company’s website.

Some customers experienced significant weight loss results, although this appears to be in combination with the meal replacement and other ready to drink products.

The Amazon reviews for total lean burn are mixed.

Some users noticed an energy boost, but negative reviewers said they saw no results at all.

total lean burn 60 reviews on amazon

One customer even went as far as to refer to the product as ‘snake oil’.

Where to Buy GNC Total Lean Burn

Like most GNC products, this supplement is available for purchase on GNC’s own website, as well as Amazon and other sites.

Retailing at $19.00 for 60 capsules it lies at the lower end of the market in terms of cost.

Recommendation

https://www.supplementcritique.com/wp content/uploads/2019/01/untitled

Sorry to say, but this isn’t a supplement we would recommend.

While the price tag isn’t as hefty as some others on the market, this is a false economy and very much reflected in the ingredients list.

The supplement is also stimulant-heavy which is certainly not a positive trend with dietary supplements. There are also numerous ingredients included that appear to have no tangible weight loss benefit whatsoever.

Furthermore, this supplement is also lacking proven ingredients, like green tea extract, cayenne pepper and Turmeric.

These sorts of ingredients consistently win out when it comes to customer feedback, so it’s a great disappointment not to see them here.

Conclusion

GNC has a successful brand name.

However, in this instance, it seems to be using this awareness to capture every section of the weight loss market, without doing adequate studies or research. Simply put, this doesn’t seem like one of their better products.

Whilst their mass market appeal seems to have paid dividends with their GNC Lean Shake meal replacement being quite popular on social media, we feel they have fallen short of creating an effective fat burner here.

Whilst feedback on their website looks broadly positive, it’s worth noting that none of the reviews come with before and after pictures, and since they are not present on third party websites, we cannot account for the authenticity of the written testimonies.

All in all, we believe there are other products on the market which are more worthy of your money and have a better chance of giving you the fat burning results you may be seeking.

BodyDynamix Slimvance Core Slimming Complex Review

https://www.supplementcritique.com/wp content/uploads/2019/01/untitled

Weight loss and fat burning supplements are becoming increasingly popular.

This is partly due to awareness of the dangers of obesity and its links to life-threatening illnesses, as well as a general desire to look our best.

Modern day lifestyles are busy, between work, school runs, and other day-to-day commitments prevent us from living healthily.

Thus, more and more people are looking for ways to achieve their optimal body size and weight in the shortest possible time.

Unfortunately, while it is true that some supplements will aid your weight loss journey, others may simply burn a hole in your wallet.

In our BodyDynamix review, we examine this Slimvance Core Slimming Complex, to see if it is a worthy contender for your cash.

What Is BodyDynamix™ Slimvance® Core Slimming Complex?

bodydynamix slimvance

According to GNC, BodyDynamix™ Slimvance® Core Slimming Complex features the power of two formulas.

A core slimming complex and an additional thermogenic.

It also makes specific claims that it can cause you to burn up to 12 times more calories and help you achieve six times more weight loss than you would without it.

We are not exactly sure how they are able to be so specific with these claims!

More research is definitely required to see how they’ve come up with these precise numbers.

The dosage for Bodydynamic Slimvance is two capsules taken twice daily.

Once in the morning and once before exercise.

It currently retails at $59.99 per 60 capsule bottle on the GNC website.

Who Should Use BodyDynamix™ Slimvance® Core Slimming Complex?

https://www.supplementcritique.com/wp content/uploads/2019/01/untitled

This supplement is not for those hoping to achieve weight loss in the shortest time.It works best in collaboration with a healthy diet and exercise program.

Therefore, if you do very little exercise, it’s unlikely you will see the results you want with this product.

It’s important to remember that dietary supplements are never going to work on their own.

Bodydynamix should be safe for use by healthy individuals, so long as the instructions are followed.

However, this fat burner does contain 200mg of Caffeine Anhydrous, meaning that it won’t be suitable if you are pregnant or breast feeding.

If you have any other doubts about its suitability for your health, it’s a smart idea to talk to your general practitioner.

A Look at the BodyDynamix™ Slimvance® Core Slimming Complex Ingredients

Ingredients are the most important aspect of any supplement.

Let’s see what BodyDynamix Slimvance has to offer.

bodydynamix slimvance ingredients label

The Science Behind These Ingredients

According to the manufacturer, this supplement can help you burn more calories and intensify energy and alertness.

As expected the overall goal is to increase weight loss, thus making your core slimmer.

It claims to do this through “breakthrough” technology.

https://www.supplementcritique.com/wp content/uploads/2019/01/untitled

We can only assume this means the “Slimvance blend” and other thermogenic ingredients in the supplement.

GNC promotes it as a dual formula supplement, designed to help you achieve weight loss in the shortest time.

But is this just marketing hype?

Let’s take a closer look at the individual ingredients and find out.

Slimvance® Patented Blend

https://www.supplementcritique.com/wp content/uploads/2019/01/untitled

The fact that an expensive supplement contains a patented blend is a big disappointment.

This is because we cannot see the quantities of some of the ingredients in it.

This is usually something we see with blends at the lower end of the market.

Unfortunately, this is because manufacturers may cut corners with quality and quantity to keep the price down.

Furthermore, sports dieticians are also warning athletes to stay away from supplements that contain proprietary blends.

They state that supplement companies should be confident of the ingredients and quantities they contain, and not hide them.

Moringa Oleifera Leaf Extract

https://www.supplementcritique.com/wp content/uploads/2019/01/untitled

This ingredient has some nutritional benefits and may act as an antioxidant.

Originating from a tree in northern India this leaf extract includes plenty of vitamins and minerals.

However, it isn’t all good news as there is some evidence to suggest they contain high levels of antinutrients meaning that your ability to absorb those minerals might be significantly impaired.

Murraya Koenigii Leaf Extract

https://www.supplementcritique.com/wp content/uploads/2019/01/untitled

This is also known as curry leaf extract.

Similarly to moringa oleifera leaf extract, it has some health benefits and has been used in Indian medicines for many years.

Whilst various studies have sought to show it is beneficial for weight loss the results have proved inconclusive.

Caffeine Anhydrous

https://www.supplementcritique.com/wp content/uploads/2019/01/untitled

Caffeine Anhydrous is a popular thermogenic ingredient, so it’s no surprise to see caffeine in this supplement.

It works by raising the body’s core temperature.

This speeds up metabolism as the body burns calories to bring the temperature back down.

Studies also show that consuming caffeine anhydrous can aid in the reduction of fat cell size, when ingested alongside a suitable exercise program.

It should be noted that the caffeine can cause side effects meaning the Slimvance Core Slimming Complex might not work if you are sensitive to stimulants.

Garcinia Cambogia Fruit Extract (60% Hydroxycitric Acid)

https://www.supplementcritique.com/wp content/uploads/2019/01/untitled

Garcinia cambogia is native to India and Southeast Asia.

It is also known as malabar tamarind and is used in eastern cooking as well as in pickles.

There is evidence to suggest it can aid weight loss by suppressing the appetite.

Furthermore, some initial study results show triglyceride levels in women who consumed garcinia cambogia were reduced by a third.

However we are not convinced that 100 mg is high enough to have an effect.
Capsimax™ Fruit Extract (Capsicum annuum)

From the five cultivated chili species, Capsicum annuum is the most widely farmed.

It is commonly grown, both in home gardens and commercially.

This species includes the largest number of well-known chilies, such as bell peppers and jalapenos.

In terms of benefits for weight loss, capsicum works in a way similar to caffeine and helps the body achieve thermogenesis.

It is also proven to increase calorie expenditure.

Niacin

https://www.supplementcritique.com/wp content/uploads/2019/01/untitled

We’re curious as to the inclusion of niacin.

This has absolutely no benefit in such a small dose.

The human body is able to manufacture niacin on its own, from vitamin B.

We can see no reason why this has been added to the formula.

Piperine from Black Pepper Fruit Extract

https://www.supplementcritique.com/wp content/uploads/2019/01/untitled

Piperine simply helps aid the absorption of other ingredients.

Bioavailability is a buzzword when it comes to comes to sports nutrition so it’s no surprise to see it included.

A vast number of health supplements now use Black pepper to improve the overall efficacy of their formulas.

So Was It Really Featured on Shark Tank?

https://www.supplementcritique.com/wp content/uploads/2019/01/untitled

No, it wasn’t!

However, we can give you some background on GNC, the company behind the product.

GNC is a popular and well-established supplement and nutrition brand, based in the U.S.

The company has a range of weight loss and health supplements that it sells via the company website.

The products vary in price, with some at the lower end of the scale, while others carry a hefty price tag.

BodyDynamix Slimvance Core Slimming Complex is one of their best-selling products.

Other popular products in the Slimvance range include GNC core slimming greens.

Where to Buy BodyDynamix™ Slimvance® Core Slimming Complex

Like most GNC products, this supplement is available to buy via the official GNC website.

The product has had over 260 reviews at the time of writing, which makes it one of their most popular supplements.

It can also be purchased on Amazon, although the price there can vary.

With regard to customer satisfaction, the BodyDynamix Slimvance reviews are a mixed bag.

Some GNC slimming product reviewers gave it 1 star, stating “it might as well have been an empty capsule,” while others were completely satisfied and gave it 5 stars.

Amazon reviewers were rather mixed too.

Some users were very pleased with results, while others experienced zero benefits.

slimvance review

slimvance review on amazon

The higher rated Slimvance Core Slimming Complex reviews seem to be using it alongside the recommended exercise and diet program.

This may be what is largely leading to successful results.

Recommendation

With the price of this supplement, the ingredients list is unimpressive.

So, unfortunately, it’s not a product we would rush to recommend.

The use of a proprietary blend is tremendously disappointing as it leaves us somewhat in the dark regarding the potency of the formula.

Furthermore, the caffeine content may cause side effects for some, as BodyDynamix Slimvance GNC is taken as two servings throughout the day.

It’s also worth noting that the price was originally a whopping $75. We believe it was reduced to $59.99 to make it more competitive on the market.Even so, we think the price is still off the mark by at least $10 to $20.

Conclusion

https://www.supplementcritique.com/wp content/uploads/2019/01/untitled

GNC is a well-known and trusted brand, but we believe there are other more effective supplements on the market.

Considering its hefty price tag, we wouldn’t have expected a proprietary blend in the ingredients list. This immediately makes BodyDynamix™ Slimvance® Core Slimming Complex a questionable choice.

This supplement does contain some proven slimvance ingredients, including capsicum annuum, garcinia cambogia and piperine.

These can aid in achieving weight loss and ingredient absorption.

There are many other supplements in a similar price range on the market.

Many of these options also contain more effective and proven fat-burning ingredients.

Overall, then, we would suggest you shop around before deciding to purchase this supplement.

No, John Goodman Didn’t Use Tone Fire Garcinia

Just the other day I was scrolling through a site I normally get my news from when I came across this.

john goodman ad on yahoo

When I clicked on the ad, it took me to a seemingly innocent article that explained John Goodman lost 42 lbs. in a little over a month with a fat burner called Tone Fire Garcinia.

So, Did John Goodman Really Lose 42 Lbs.

In 5 Weeks With Tone Fit Garcinia?

No…

I’m gonna keep this short and sweet.

That entire article you just read is a complete fake, from A to Z.

Here’s a couple reasons why:

#1 – This is NOT CNN

I’ve outed this particular article over and over, but the one you just read about John Goodman was NOT posted on the CNN website.

The main reason I say this is because the url is not cnn.com, but rather it says theuncoveredreport.com.

See for yourself:

john goodman weight loss - tone fire garcinia

#2 – The “Today Show” Interview

First off, the last time John Goodman was interviewed on the Today Show was in March of 2016.

john goodman today show interview

You can see that entire interview here.

I watched the entire interview, and not once did he make any mention of using any weight loss pill, including Tone Fire Garcinia.

In fact, he doesn’t even really talk about his weight loss.

The only thing he mentioned regarding that was that he felt he would gain it all back in 6 months. (we hear you John, it’s not easy to keep it off).

Another article on the Today show website quoted Goodmans personal health coach as saying:

Goodman has been following a “Mediterranean-style eating plan” focused on fish, olive oil, vegetables and fruit.

No pills, no Tone Fire Garcinia, and no fat burners.

#3 – He Never “Verified” It On Twitter

Right at the top of the article, it proclaims that Goodman confirmed his weight loss plan on Twitter.

The problem is, he never did (or at least I couldn’t find any mention of it).

Not only that, but he doesn’t even have a verified Twitter account.

Bottom Line

These types of fakes ads are everywhere on the internet, and it can be very difficult to know what’s truth vs. fiction.

The bottom line is this…

John Goodman did NOT use Tone Fire Garcinia, or any other weight loss pill for that matter.

He did it the old fashioned way…

Through diet, exercise, and maintaining a positive attitude.

If you’ve come across this Tone Fire Garcinia scam, leave your comments below!

Vshot Male Enhancement Review

One of our site visitors sent us a detailed review on his experience with Vshot, a male endurance formula that resembles Extenze Liquid Shots.

vshot male endurance formula

Check out his findings below:

Jasper here with another complicated one.

Complicated because Vshot has different formulations.

The fact that it works gets it a single star; dangerous side effects do not warrant any more than that.

What effect which formula will have on you, who knows? I would not recommend this to a friend, not and expect him to stay a friend anyway.

Vshot Male Enhancement Ingredients

https://www.supplementcritique.com/wp content/uploads/2018/11/priligy 30mg 6

The formulas more available now contain yohimbe; what I recently obtained did not.

What is on the ingredient label on both the bottle and the box that I used does NOT contain yohimbe. If you take the yohimbe formula, it will probably make you sick. The basic formula for all the different Vshots is the same:. propylene glycol, L-argenine, maca root extract, cnidium monnieri, epimedium sagittatum (some list it as epimedium grandiflorum), gamma aminobutyric acid (GABA), and xanthoparmelia scabrosa.

Some formulations don’t have propylene glycol. This is the formula I took does, but does not have yohimbe. There is a formula nearly the same but containing yohimbe; both are 600 mg or nearly so; both have 250 mcg vitamin B 12. Confusing to say the least.

Those of you who are bent on driving yourselves to basket weaving classes are welcome to research just how many different Vshot formulas there are.

You will see that some come in a red box, others in a blue box.

There are two 1.8 ounce bottles in each box, usually available for around five bucks a pop.

You will also see both boxes are labeled Vshot Male Endurance Formula; they make the claim of harder erections, longer endurance, and boosted libido.

The last two are subjective, therefore difficult to measure. Harder erections are easily observed.

That’s why I tried it, to firm up the ol’ penis.

Does Vshot Male Enhancement Really Work?

https://www.supplementcritique.com/wp content/uploads/2018/11/priligy 30mg 6 tablets_1

Having tried it, even though it worked, I would settle for lifetime limp pecker before taking this again. Yes I know where it is currently available. No I will not tell you where to get it.

Please afford yourselves the ride to the emergency room on your own time. Should you choose otherwise and buy VShot on your own, I’m sure the coroner will make a house call to check you out free.

Checking this one on the web, even the list of ingredients is not the same for the kinds available, though all are sold as Vshot Male Endurance Formula.

The fact that there are different formulations is a red flag.

Thankfully this is a product to be taken on an as needed basis rather than every day; I downed a single 1.8 oz bottle with my morning coffee.

My Personal Experience

https://www.supplementcritique.com/wp content/uploads/2018/11/priligy 30mg 6 tablets_1

I felt the action in 30 minutes as advertised, my erection was quite firm, readily firm enough for intercourse. My endurance was no more, no less, though as I said, my erect penis was more firm than usual, and I could sustain my erection for more than a full minute without any tactile stimulation. My libido is plenty active anyway.

One of my fav fantasies is the instant replay I run of an old girlfriend licking me up hard, me sitting down with my naked butt on the edge of a chair while she slides her wet hole down my pole. My erection points straight up while she teases herself with it and slides down my steely shaft, feeding 36 C’s with erect fifty cents piece nipples into my mouth. With or without consuming any sex enhancers, does anyone now doubt that my libido is active?

Side Effects

Now the bad news: I was also lightheaded, slightly dizzy; had migraine headaches come and go over a two hour period. I had a feeling of being high, euphoria came and went for 16 hours; the stuff had a narcotic high feel, like a mix of laughing gas and marijuana. Ashwaganda has given me a slight feeling of euphoria before; this was much stronger.

If it contains ashwaganda the label does not say so. I had planned this as only a test, just take the new sex enhancement and see how ready it makes the rod. My best feminine interest surprised me with both a visit and getting naked when she did.

https://www.supplementcritique.com/wp content/uploads/2018/11/priligy 30mg 6 tablets_1

Don’t have to hit this Red Neck with a wet mop, just a wet, well you get the idea. We had sex later that morning and again around 8:30 that night. I woke later the same night with an abnormally rapid heart rate. I took my blood pressure; it was down and my heart rate was up.

The next morning I took my blood pressure several times over a two hour period, I was twenty points below normal.

At one point I was 95/60 BP, pulse fluctuating between 80 and 110. Nothing in my diet or medications had changed, except my dose of Vshot.

None of the listed ingredients, whether in a mixture as in this proprietary blend, or separately had ever caused any problem, significant or otherwise.

One thing that happens with male sex enhancers is that many times they can make your blood pressure drop significantly, this certainly did that for me.

The BP drop is often the case, but doesn’t happen right away.

Conclusion

Sex is strenuous exercise, humping, bucking, ramming the pleasure pole to the sex hole. Just as with any exercise, being active revs up your blood pressure.

After sex it drops, with a supplement like Vshot, it drops and keeps on dropping. Having experience with all the prescription PDE5 inhibitors and many many different supplements, the effects left no doubt in my mind that whatever is in Vshot is most definitely NOT what is in the bottle!!!

I usually recommend masturbating with a sex enhancer you haven’t tried before so you will know if it works for you, and if it does work, how well? With Vshot I recommend having the wife, girlfriend, whoever, even an understanding male friend with you; you may need someone to give you a ride to the hospital, or give you CPR until the ambulance gets there. I was lucky, you may not be.

Avoid this like syphilis!!!!!

There are many options out there that are similar without the high risk of side effects that produce better effects without having to worry about a potential hospital visit.

Best of luck with a different supplement!

ActivMotion Review

What is ActivMotion?

ActivMotion is an herbal blend synthetic that promotes the healthy reproduction of your body’s natural collagen.

activmotion powder

According to Wikipedia, collagen is the main structural protein found in skin and other connective tissues, widely used in a purified form for cosmetic surgical treatments but let’s simplify that. Collagen is the components within your body that maintain strength and flexibility. As our body ages our collagen begins to break down.

Signs of this can be seen in our skin, hair & nails. Our muscles, tendons, ligaments & bones will begin to ache, and our overall flexibility & strength will begin to diminish.

Who is Dr. Vincent Pedre?

https://www.supplementcritique.com/wp

ActivMotion claims to promote healthy collagen reproduction, and was created byDr. Vincent Pedre, a Cornell & Miami of Medicine graduate. Dr Pedre is also a Functional Medicine Certified Practitioner, and Chief Wellness Officer at United Naturals. Has been enlisted as their certified medical expert.

According to Mount Sinai, Dr. Pedre’s specialty is internal medicine, and his holistic medicinal approach incorporates positive, preventative health and wellness lifestyle choices.

After graduating from Cornell University as a pre-med, he went one to receive his medical degree from the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine.

He’s been a practicing internist at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York for over 11 years.

What Are The ActivMotion Ingredients?

https://www.supplementcritique.com/wp content/uploads/2018/11/untitled

ActivMotion by United Naturals is a powder containing the following ingredients:

    • Stevia leaf: 120 mg
    • Tumeric Root: 100 mg
    • Black Pepper Fruit extract: 10 mg
    • Boswellia Serrata Resin Extract: 200 mg
    • Hydrolyzed Bovine Collagen: 6 grams
    • Collagen Type II (chicken cartilage): 40 mg
    • Vitamin C: 200 mg
    • Vitamin D: 20 mcg
    • Magnesium: 300 mg
    • Sodium: 15 mg

How To Take ActivMotion

https://www.supplementcritique.com/wp content/uploads/2018/11/untitled

ActivMotion has one flavor (Lemon Raspberry), and is simply mixed with a glass of water or any beverage of your choice.

The directions call for one level scoop for every 6-8 ounces of liquid, and you should wait 2-3 hours before eating after taking ActivMotion. According to Livestrong, collagen supplements should be taken on an empty stomach because your body needs stomach acid to break down proteins.

In theory, taking collagen on an empty stomach ensures that it will pass through your belly to your intestines after being broken down by stomach acid.

ActivMotion Claimed Benefits

https://www.supplementcritique.com/wp content/uploads/2018/11/untitled

According to the manufacturer, it’s claimed that drinking ActivMotion will relieve joint aches & pains over time and help your skin stay elastic.

They also claim that it can leave you with fewer wrinkles and a younger looking appearance.

This is true to a certain extent.

As you get older your need for collagen supplements will be determined by your level of acceptance for wrinkles, aches & pains. The more collagen you take the less likely you will experience joint pain or the younger you will look.

According to an article on WebMD U.S consumers are expected to spend $122 million dollars on collagen dietary supplements. A fad that has seen an uptick in popularity like other popular health trends such as “gluten-free” or the Atkins diet. There’s quite a bit of controversy swirling around collagen dietary supplements on whether they are truly the fountain of youth or merely just an edible hoax. But the Atkins diet, as well as the gluten-free diet, started off with much the same controversy, and nowadays you’ll be hard pressed to find a restaurant menu without gluten-free options.

No matter what aspect of daily life and culture something fits into, a fad is only more than a trend when it actually has an effect on people and sees positive results in the using population.

Do The ActivMotion Ingredients Work?

https://www.supplementcritique.com/wp content/uploads/2018/11/untitled

According to ActivMotion’s website (www.UnitedNaturals.com), there are 11 ingredients that make up this “fountain of youth” dietary supplement.

GMO & Allergen Free while being made in the USA is one thing you can find on the label of ActivMotion, but another thing you can find is evidence as to why there is so much controversy swirling around collagen dietary supplements. The six main ingredients in ActivMotion collagen that are used to help your body fight aging skin, as well as well joint pain, have no established daily value criteria. Meaning there is no regulatory body, government department or private agency that can agree on the consensus of how much of each one of these ingredients you should consume each day. Just means the science behind collagen dietary supplements is in its infinite stage, and as more reports surface the closer to a consensus on the daily intake will be reached.

Let’s break down the six main ingredients in ActivMotion.

Hydrolyzed Bovine Collagen

https://www.supplementcritique.com/wp content/uploads/2018/11/untitled

This is produced from fresh skin/bone or food grade gelatin products. Basically, that’s saying collagen is derived from bovine bone and cartilage. An article at the National Institute of Health states that Hydrolyzed Bovine Collagen is the result of crushed grounded down bone that is defatted and soaked in acid to remove the calcium. Before it is dehydrated Hydrolyzed Bovine Collagen is soaked once again to break the collagen bonds so they can be farmed for ActivMotion. The results of this process are undamaged small intact amino acids that can be added to the ActivMotion collagen dietary supplement.

Chicken collagen

https://www.supplementcritique.com/wp content/uploads/2018/11/untitled

Found in animal tissue, bone, and cartilage, chicken collagen is used in medicines to fight inflammations & chronic joint pains or aches. There are two types of chicken collagen. The collagen found in bones and skin is considered Type 1 collagen. While the collagen found in cartilage is a highly purified collagen that is considered a Type 2 form of collagen. Chicken collagen type 2 is used in medicines to treat chronic inflammatory disorders like arthritis or even neck and back pain. Chicken collagen can be found in modern medicine because it helps your body produce enzymes that sooth joint pain and inflammation. Making chicken collagen the perfect addition to Dr. Pedre’s ActivMotion dietary supplement.

Boswellia Serrata Resin Extract

https://www.supplementcritique.com/wp content/uploads/2018/11/untitled

The Boswellia extract has been used in Africa, Asian & other eastern folk medicine for centuries. This herbal extract known as Indian Frankincense is harvested from the Boswellia Serrata Tree located in India & the Punjab region that extends into Pakistan. According to Healthline & Examine, this resin extract is believed to treat anti-inflammatory joint disorders along with showing strong preliminary evidence of curing chronic inflammatory illnesses. The Boswellia resin extract used in folk medicine for centuries around the globe focuses on aching pain joints as well as a number of other health conditions. Which is why Dr. Pedre has included this resin extract in his ActivMotion

Stevia leaf extract

https://www.supplementcritique.com/wp content/uploads/2018/11/untitled

Comes from the South American Stevia Plant widely used in Stevia sweeteners because they provide the taste of sugar without all the calories of sugar. From the Diabetes Self Management Website, Stevia Leaf Extract hasn’t been approved by the FDA as a sweetener but has been used medicinally for hundreds of years because of it’s all natural herbal makeup. In 2008 companies like Cargill and Merisant petitioned the FDA to give it a GRAS (generally recommended as safe) approved status. The FDA agreed and companies across the nation started promoting and selling Stevia Leaf Extract products to gain popularity points with “all natural” crowds, but the CSPI (Center for Science in the Public Interest) has a different view on this “beneficial” extract.

The CSPI believes it can lead to infertility based on the data they collected from testing this extract on rats back in the 1990s. Because of these studies whole Stevia Leaf has not been granted GRAS or found its way through an FDA approval, but Stevia Leaf Extract has been awarded generally recommended as a safe product by labs across the globe. If you have diabetes Stevia can help keep your blood sugars in check, and as long as you don’t over-consume this product there is very little chance of suffering from any long-term side effects. Which is why Dr. Pedre has included this extract in his ActivMotion collagen dietary supplement.

Turmeric root extract

https://www.supplementcritique.com/wp content/uploads/2018/11/untitled

has anti-inflammatory properties, and WebMD says it is widely used to make modern day medicines. With its most active compound, curcumin, as well as existing antioxidants turmeric, is believed to have many scientifically-proven health benefits within the medical industry. From the National Institute of Health, the curcumin found in Turmeric root extract has a long & successful history of treating chronic inflammatory disorders. Curcumin is a safe & non-toxic compound used in Dr. Pedre’s ActivMotion collagen supplement.

Black pepper fruit extract

https://www.supplementcritique.com/wp content/uploads/2018/11/untitled

is a form of piperine, which is an alkaloid that gives black pepper its pungency, and derived from the fruits of black pepper. The piperine found in black pepper fruit extract is a key anti-inflammatory compound which has been shown to increase the bioavailability of curcumin so as to enhance the Turmeric root extract found in Dr. Pedre’s ActivMotion collagen supplement. Consumer Lab states that black pepper fruit extract helps the body create an enzyme to break down curcumin faster allowing your body to absorb collagen easier.

ActivMotion Side Effects

https://www.supplementcritique.com/wp content/uploads/2018/11/untitled

While ActivMotion has plenty of benefit towards replenishing aging skin and curing joint ailments, you should use in moderation. Taking more than you need raises your risk for adverse side effects. For example, too much vitamin C can cause diarrhea. Taking too much vitamin A can cause liver damage, birth defects or even reduce bone strength. Using anything in excess can cause unwanted results. While ActivMotion is developed using all natural ingredients the use of this collagen dietary supplement needs to be used responsibly and in moderation to avoid unwanted side effects.

There are no direct links between ActivMotion and serious side effect or any side effects for that matter, but just because something’s good for you doesn’t mean you should over consume it. Water is a necessity for your body, but you can still get water poisoning if you drink too much. Same goes for using ActivMotion in excess you may experience diarrhea, liver problems or according to the CSPI, infertility. The chances of this happening are low, but still, a possibility if you choose to consume ActivMotion in an excessive fashion.

ActivMotion Reviews

https://www.supplementcritique.com/wp content/uploads/2018/11/untitled

Unfortunately, there are not a lot of review floating around the internet, but the ones that I did find are all positive. One review from 2015 a lady explains how she has to take a daily supplement for the pain in her knees, and ActivMotion is her supplement of choice. She said she’s been without any knee pain for over a year because of ActivMotion. Another lady thanked an Amazon seller for providing her such a wonderful product for her neck and back pain. Chris says the product was “as described” and would buy again with three exclamation points.

From all the reviews found online, it appears ActivMotion lives up to its expectations, and Dr. Pedre has a product that has a lot of untapped potential in aiding those with chronic inflammatory disorders. Just ask Bridget who said in her review that she looks decades younger, and the three friends she recommended ActivMotion too all say they have lived a more active lifestyle. Due to the decreased joint pain, ActivMotion has provided them.

Where to buy ActivMotion

United Naturals allows you to buy ActivMotion in three different sizes:

1 pack: $49

3 pack: $134

6 pack: $244

I wish I could provide you with a coupon or discount code to purchase ActivMotion from UnitedNaturals, but unfortunately one is not available.

As of this review, ActivMotion is not available on Amazon or in stores.

If you aren’t satisfied for any reason with ActivMotion United Naturals offers a 30-day money back guarantee.

Conclusion

Earlier I pointed you towards a WebMD article that asked if collagen was the fountain of youth or an edible hoax. ActivMotion was created by a licensed Functional Medicine Certified Practitioner who graduated from Cornell University & the Miami School of Medicine. Which gained him a residency opportunity at the prestigious Mount Sinai hospital in New York. Author of the book, “Healthy Gut,” Dr. Vincent Pedre believes that combining both Western and Eastern medicine to better address every patient’s needs is the future of healthcare, and has crafted a collagen supplement that is derived from all natural ingredients.

Ingredients like Turmeric which has been used in medicine for centuries to treat liver disease, infections, wounds, and even colds.Through rigorous testing and screening, the ingredients in ActivMotion have been found to provide anti-inflammatory properties & and anti-aging qualities that can be delivered to your door for as little as $49.

Because it is low risk and is made out of an all natural herbal remedy formula and comes at a relatively fair price, I recommend giving ActivMotion a try.

Dear Google, We Need To Talk…

Dear Google,
It’s about your search results. We need to talk…

For my visitors who aren’t already aware, our site has seen a significant dip in the google search results starting on Aug. 1, 2018.

Google routinely updates their search results, sometimes as much as several times a day.

This particular update (dubbed the “Medic Update” by some) had a massive effect on the search results, specifically in the health niche.

I can understand their rationale completely.

For a long time, there were plenty of sites that were ranking for heavily searched medical-like terms, that probably should not have been.

I get it…

They have a responsibility to their customers (you, the google searcher) to present the most reliable, informative, and accurate result to your query possible.

With all that said, there’s been some strange results popping up when I run searches for keywords I used to rank for.

In many cases, I’ve been coming across things like:

  • 404 Errors
  • Blank Pages
  • Redirects to totally different sites
  • Extremely thin pages
  • Redirects to “buy cheap viagra” type sites
  • Porn images showing up
  • Etc.

These are not isolated incidents, and they are also not happening on deep pages in the results.

In fact, they’re almost ALL happening on Page 1 of the results, and for literally 100’s of searches I’ve personally conducted.

In many cases, these bad search results have almost completely taken over the page 1 results.

I’ve made a video demonstrating these very searches, check it out below:

There are a ton of search results that I did not include in the video, simply because of time restrictions.

Here are some other examples:

(note:All searches were conducted with a google incognito tab, logged out, and with a VPN. They’ve also been verified by several acquaintances in various locations throughout the US. So no, my computer is not hacked 🙂

Keyword: arthrozene reviews

This is a joint relief supplement I wrote about awhile back.

Our review is rich, and full of content regarding nearly everything there is to know about this supplement.

I’ve personally tested the product myself, and had an older gentleman named Jim test it out as part of our STEPuP program. The purpose of that was to determine if there were major differences between the effects it would have on younger adults (like my 37 year old self), and older adults (Jim is 66 years old).

We have 17 real reviews from users who have taken the product, linked to from the top of the page.

https://www.supplementcritique.com/wp content/uploads/2018/11/arthrozene

We’ve even had the content on the page medically reviewed for accuracy by Dr. Helen Okoye, our in-house medical reviewer.

When I think ‘user intent” for this particular keyword, I think only one thing…

Searchers are looking for real reviews of this particular product.

If you search the term “arthrozene reviews”, this is what you see in the Top 10 results:https://www.supplementcritique.com/wp content/uploads/2018/11/arthrozene review search

3 of the 10 results have nothing to do with the product at all, as well 2 of the youtube videos in the carousel.

The first unrelated result (Amazon) is for a completely different product called Vital 3 Joint Solution.

The second unrelated result (Consumerreports.org) is an outdated article from 2013 that makes no mention of the product named Arthrozene.

Further down the page, in the 5th, 9th, and 10th spots, we have completely (almost) irrelevant pages showing up.

My review is pinned to the bottom of the page in the #8 spot.

https://www.supplementcritique.com/wp content/uploads/2018/11/my review of

For someone searching for real reviews of Arthrozene, this is not helping their cause.

This is somewhat related to the next search…

Keyword: Wachsen Riesig reviews

So Wachsen Riesig was a supplement I actually received a mailer on last month (October), of which I wrote a complete review on here.

Apart from the mailer (and one lone BBB complaint), there was virtually no information about this supplement available online.

I wrote the best possible review with the limited information I had.

If you look at the review, this particular company uses extremely vulgar marketing materials to push their product.

And I specifically called them out on that, along with many of their claims.

If you run a search for wachsen riesig reviews on google, this is what shows up.

wachsen riesig review search

Just like with the Arthrozene review search, the first several results have nothing to do with the search.

The first result is an Amazon listing for a completely different product (which isn’t even available, btw), and unrelated articles on CBSNews.com and WebMD.com.

My review is in the #5 position.

https://www.supplementcritique.com/wp content/uploads/2018/11/wachsen riesig search result

Keyword: shark tank ed pill

For the past year or so, certain unsavory marketers have been pushing a fake ad about some miracle testosterone booster, weight loss pill, even wrinkle creams being seen on the TV show “Shark Tank”.

The ads look like this:

shark tank yoojin and angela kim facebook ad

And lead to pages that look like this:

kim sisters on shark tank promoting testosterone pills

The reality is, these two “sisters” (who aren’t even sisters) did NOTdevelop some miracle testosterone booster / ed pill / weight loss supplement.

I’ve already outed them extensively in this article and this article.

Searchers looking to find out info on this particular product may search several terms.

For example, when I run a search for “shark tank ed pill”, this shows up in the #2 position:

shark tank search 2

Which, if you click on it, what you’ll see is them pushing the exact same B.S. narrative…

https://www.supplementcritique.com/wp

That there was some miracle supplement that landed a huge deal on the show.

This is simply NOT true!

If the searcher clicks on their result before mine, you could almost certainly bet that a good % of the searchers will believe what piop.net says before learning the truth.

Unfortunately, our exposé has been pinned in the #3 spot for a couple of months now.

https://www.supplementcritique.com/wp content/uploads/2018/11/s tank ed

As a matter of fact, we routinely expose similar types of scams, including:

Keyword: conor mcgregor supplements fox news

I exposed this particular scam back in June of 2017, click here to read up on it.

If you search for the term ‘conor mcgregor supplements fox news’, you’ll see another site ranking right up at the top.

conor mcgregor supplements fox news

If you click on that result (which most people do), they go into this long story about how Conor McGregor used 2 supplements called Power Testo Blast and Power Muscle Blast.

https://www.supplementcritique.com/wp content/uploads/2018/11/conor mcgregor fake supplement

It’s 100% fake…

In fact, the only supplement McGregor has ever claimed to have used publicly was BSN Syntha-6 Edge, which he briefly mentioned in a Muscle & Fitness interview.

Further down the results, we have this site perpetuating almost the exact same thing.

https://www.supplementcritique.com/wp content/uploads/2018/11/mcgregorsupps

On this particular url, they claim he is taking a hiatus from the UFC because he was taking some banned supplement named Stamimax.

https://www.supplementcritique.com/wp content/uploads/2018/11/fake conor

Again, simply not true…

Where’s our review exposing the scam?

In the #5 spot…

https://www.supplementcritique.com/wp content/uploads/2018/11/conor mcgregor

I have literally dozens of other Exposés like this, here’s just a few of them:

Denzel Washington And Dr. Phil Did NOT Develop Some ED Pill

Terry Bradshaw ED Pill

Anna And Samantha Martin Were NOT On Shark Tank

No, Morgan Freeman Did NOT Use That ED Pill

No, Zac Efron Did NOT Use Those Supplements

Keyword: evolution lean keto

This is another supplement that uses deceptive marketing to push their product.

Just like with many of the others, they’ve been pushing the “Shark Tank Weight Loss” narrative.

evolution lean keto on entertainment today

We outed the whole thing in an exposéwe published on October 15th.

Yet, if you search something like “evolution lean keto shark tank“, you’ll see nothing but sites perpetuating the scam.

https://www.supplementcritique.com/wp content/uploads/2018/11/evolution keto shark

Further down the results we have 2 Amazon listings that have nothing to do with the product, a blank page, and another url that perpetuates the scam.

https://www.supplementcritique.com/wp content/uploads/2018/11/evolution lean

So where is my exposé warning people about this particular scam?

Where else but Page 5 of the results:

https://www.supplementcritique.com/wp content/uploads/2018/11/evolution page

Keyword: over the counter viagra

When I think “user intent” for this particular keyword, I think 2 things…

  1. Someone is literally searching for a way to buy viagra over the counter (as in, in a store like CVS, Walgreens, etc.)
  2. Since buying Viagra over the counter is not legal (or recommended, even if you did find someone selling it!), the user is searching for an “herbal equivalent”.

Here are the problem results:

otc viagra search 1

When you click that result, this is what you see:

https://www.supplementcritique.com/wp content/uploads/2018/11/keyword stuffed

It’s a very heavily keyword stuffed page, that really doesn’t provide any credible info on the search at all.

What’s worse is, as you scroll a bit down the page, you’ll see a popup show up.

https://www.supplementcritique.com/wp content/uploads/2018/11/otc viagra pop

If you try to X it out, the entire page redirects and I get a malware warning from my virus protection software.

Here’s a screencast:

Further down the page, you’ll see another similar result.

https://www.supplementcritique.com/wp content/uploads/2018/11/otc viagra search

While this page doesn’t redirect, it’s clearly a keyword-stuffed page that does not provide any credible information.

See for yourself here.

Below that you have the following:

https://www.supplementcritique.com/wp content/uploads/2018/11/otc viagra search

Well, “hotelmiramare.com” redirects to a totally different site selling fake Viagra.

See for yourself:

Re-purposed URLs Popping Up Everywhere

Another thing I’ve noticed was the resurgence of expired domains popping up.

For example, one product I’ve written about extensively is a supplement called Vigrx Plus.

If you search the term “vigrx plus reviews“, the very first result that shows is a domain name called mbpi.org.

https://www.supplementcritique.com/wp

If you look at the history of this particular url on Archive.org, you’ll see that it used to be an environmental assessment website.

https://www.supplementcritique.com/wp content/uploads/2018/11/mbpi in the

In that same search you’ll see a site called “Hawaii-conference.com” showing up in the #5 spot.

https://www.supplementcritique.com/wp content/uploads/2018/11/hawaii conference

This particular url was redirected to a site called uhhconferencecenter.com, and had a ton of legit backlinks going to it.

https://www.supplementcritique.com/wp content/uploads/2018/11/redirected url

Those backlinks are what drive this particular url (and mbpi.org) to the top of the search results, not the quality of their content.

Another site I’ve seen popping up all over the place is envisionsolutionsnow.com.

This site used to be a full-service healthcare marketing communications consulting firm.

https://www.supplementcritique.com/wp content/uploads/2018/11/envision

Now it’s a supplement review site that shows up for terms like “vitapulse reviews

https://www.supplementcritique.com/wp content/uploads/2018/11/envision 1

andro 400 reviews

https://www.supplementcritique.com/wp content/uploads/2018/11/envision 2

and “zyrexin reviews

https://www.supplementcritique.com/wp content/uploads/2018/11/envision 3

Other sites I’ve been seeing getting away with the exact same thing include:

ahcafr.com, which was originally an “Arkansas Health Protection Guide”.

https://www.supplementcritique.com/wp

Interstitialarts.org, which used to be a site about Artists without borders

https://www.supplementcritique.com/wp

Brightfuturesforfamilies.org, which was originally a “national initiative for families and communities to promote and improve the health and well-being of children of all ages”.

https://www.supplementcritique.com/wp content/uploads/2018/11/bright

elasticss.com, which was a blog about elastic CSS framework of all things.

https://www.supplementcritique.com/wp

mynvfi.org, which was originally the National Vitiligo Foundations website.

https://www.supplementcritique.com/wp

And the list goes on and on…

This technique of buying expired domains and re-purposing them is nothing new. It’s been going on for as long as I can remember, I’m just very surprised to see this particular tactic working in 2018.

Conclusion

I could go on and on and on about this…

I’m not exactly sure why google is ranking these types of sites, especially the ones in the video.

Are they relying too much on links?

My suspicion is yes, they are.

For the longest time, whenever SupplementCritique.com experienced a traffic drop like this in the past, there was always one way around it: Write better content and make a better site.

We’ve always strived to “do our best” and “do it the right way”, and make it a point to write informative, well-researched, and fun articles and reviews.

However, with results like these showing up, I’m really not sure I could write anything better than I already have.

It’s very disheartening to see results like these popping up, especially considering all the near-daily positive feedback in the form of emails and comments we get thanking us for “saving them” from a potentially dangerous or financially draining product.

Here’s just a few of the more recent ones:

https://www.supplementcritique.com/wp content/uploads/2018/11/thank you email

https://www.supplementcritique.com/wp content/uploads/2018/11/thank you email

https://www.supplementcritique.com/wp content/uploads/2018/11/thank you email

https://www.supplementcritique.com/wp content/uploads/2018/11/thank you email

We’ve written numerous articles informing those who have been sucked in by a free trial, debunking potentially dangerous myths about ‘permanent enlargement pills‘, and countless others.

Despite the setbacks, I’ll continue to do my very best at helping you find the best supplements possible.

I always try to find a way to turn a black cloud into a silver lining, and this time is no different.

Membrane Integrity Factor Review

Membrane Integrity Factor Overview

Getting old is the pits.

Wrinkles, joint pain, apathy, saggy boobs, a failing sense of direction.

And there’s really no getting around it.

…Or is there?

When a company comes out and says they’ve found “a scientific breakthrough to anti-aging,” well, we can’t help but hear them out. Because what if?

What if they caught lightening in a bottle, so to speak, and somehow stumbled upon the perfect formula to stop aging?

Despite what Membrane Integrity Factor says, here is no such thing as the fountain of youth, so head for the fountain of bacon
Image: memebase.cheezburger.com

(Fountain of youth jokes never get old.

See what I did there? 😉

Alright, so I’m just gonna burst the bubble right here and now.

There is no such thing as a fountain of youth, anti-aging product that truly works to stop the process of growing old.

But you knew that.

Reversing or off-setting the effects that time and aging has on our bodies is of course not possible, and while certain aspects of the process are undesirable, who would really want to turn the clock back if given the chance?

While some creams, lotions, pills and serums may help to tighten the skin, reduce the wrinkles, and even alleviate pain, you will never stop aging.

Sorry.

BUT… can we slow down the aging process?

Recently I came across an ad on Yahoo for a product called Membrane Integrity Factor.

I came across this Membrane Integrity Factor ad while searching the internet

They offer up some pretty crazy claims, like this one…

“Aging used to be thought of as an inevitable process.

Now doctors and scientists alike think of aging as something that can be slowed down and sometimes reversed.”

Hmmm. Seems a little fishy.

So I had to dig in to Membrane Integrity Factor to learn what it’s all about.

Could it really have properties that slow and reverse aging?

If not, is it at least good for us in some way?

In this review I answer all of your burning questions about this supposed scientific breakthrough product.

What is Membrane Integrity Factor?

membrane integrity factor review

Well… it’s a pill.

And it has two main ingredients: 2AEP and HGHR.

We’ll cover these in the next section, but right now I want to briefly discuss the so-called brains behind the product, and what Membrane Integrity Factor claims it will do for you.

So it (allegedly) all started with a German doctor named Hans Alfred Nieper.

Dr Nieper is supposedly the inventor of Membrane Integrity Factor

Who is Dr. Nieper?

The fine folks at Membrane Integrity Factor have a WHOLE page dedicated to the now-deceased doctor.

Doctor Nieper has no affiliation with Membrane Integrity Factor

So you would think that this Dr. Nieper was the guy who created the product…

Nope.

Or at least a leading scientist behind the formula…

Nope!

Or is somehow — in some way — affiliated with Membrane Integrity Factor.

Dr. Nieper is not affiliated with Membrane Integrity Factor in any way
Image: teepublic.com

The makers of the product picked some random doctor from Germany (who died last century) to be their front-man and the product’s inventor.

By now, red flags are probably raised in anyone that cares about the integrity of the things that they decide to put in their body.

They literally wrote on the box: “Formulated by Hans A. Nieper, MD.

The makers of Membrane Integrity Factor falsely claim that Dr. Nieper formulated the product

You can’t do that.

But jokes on them because I’m gonna systematically dismantle their every bogus claim so we can get to the truth of the matter.

Here are some of the claims that the makers of the product essentially shovel at the reader.

Membrane Integrity Factor big bold claims

According to the website, “Membrane Integrity Factor® delivers essential nutrients to our outer cell walls using a patented ‘Mineral Carrier’ to seal and protect them (Which Prevents Aging).”

So what is this magic ingredient that prevents aging? And how exactly does it work?

Let’s have a look at the ingredients.

What are the Membrane Integrity Factor ingredients?

To understand the Membrane Integrity Factor, we have to first get acquainted with Calcium 2-aminoethylphosphate (2-AEP), and to a lesser extent, HGHR.

2-AEP– This “vital component in the structure of cell membranes… has beenshown to help maintain cell membrane integrity and improve cellular functions.” (Source)

2-AEP is the main ingredient in Membrane Integrity Factor anti-aging pills
Image: en.wikipedia.org

2-AEP was actually discovered by Erwin Chargaff in the early 1940’s, and it was later patented by Hans Alfred Nieper and Franz Kohler.

It’s essentially a mineral transporter, which functions like so…

“[2-AEP] goes into the outer layer of the outer cell membrane where it releases its associated mineral and is itself metabolized with the structure of the cell membrane.

The effect here is an increase of the electrical condenser function of cell membranes to resist toxins and viruses which may otherwise enter the cell and cause cellular degeneration.” (Source)

Membrane Integrity Factor supposedly works at the cellular level
Image: www.news-medical.net

And according to Nutrition Review, 2-AEP has been shown to support everything from multiple sclerosis to diabetes, to asthma and immune disorders. (Source)

The makers of Membrane Integrity Factor don’t disclose how much of the ingredient is contained in the pills.

On to our next ingredient… HGHR.

hgh myths vs facts

The Human Growth Hormone Receptor, or HGH, is what regulates things like muscle and bone growth, metabolism, and possibly heart function (Source).

Unfortunately, this critical hormone naturally declines as we get older.

The Human Growth Hormone, or HGH, is an ingredient in Membrane Integrity Factor
Image: webmd.com

According to WebMD, some use HGH much like anabolic steroids — “in an attempt to build muscle and improve athletic performance.

Yet HGH’s effect on athletic performance is unknown.” (Source)

Dang right it’s unknown.

In fact, Harvard did a study on the efficacy of HGH for building muscle composition and athletic performance, and they claim it isn’t shown to have any effect whatsoever (Source).

So if it can’t really help people in the here and now, how can it slow the effects of aging and make you live longer into the future?

Membrane Integrity Factor claims it can slow the effects of aging, but the ingredients don't back it up

Who are we to believe?

Membrane Integrity Factor, or WebMD and Harvard?

Exactly.

How I know Membrane Integrity Factor is Bogus

Anytime a company boldly claims that they’ve discovered the fountain of youth, you just have to be skeptical.

As for Membrane Integrity Factor, there is no research to back up their promises.

While the ingredients 2-AEP and HGH might help to protect you from toxins and rejuvenate your cells, there is no way they can slow the effects of aging, let alone reverse the effects altogether.

Membrane Integrity Factor reverse aging pills
Image: freebiechest.com

And it’s sad, because there are countless shady companies like this one just taking people’s hard-earned money left and right.

But a little up-front research goes a long way.

In fact…

WebMD came out with a brilliant article on how to spot anti-aging scams.

WebMD wrote a great article on how to spot anti-aging scams like Membrane Integrity Factor
Image: webmd.com

The article details the 15 warning signs to look out for.

I wasn’t surprised to learn that Membrane Integrity Factor checks off just about every box, including…

#3 –Usage of phrases such as “scientific breakthrough,” “exclusive product,” “secret ingredient,” or “active remedy.”

#6 – Attempts to convey credibility, such as wearing white lab coats and stethoscopes, posing with microscopes, claiming to be a medical doctor or referring to “academies” and “institutes.”

#7 – Not mentioning potential side effects and making claims that sound too good to be true.

Image: grownups.co

#8 – Using simplistic rationales; anti-aging quacks claim that that the answer is as simple as manipulating a single hormone.

#12 – Telling misleading interpretations of studies or outright lies about effectiveness.

And the list goes on.

Look, you just can’t turn back the biological clock.

There is no such thing.

You cannot turn back the biological clock and get younger with the so-called anti-aging pills Membrane Integrity Factor

Membrane Integrity Factor Reviews

The product gets a pretty decent 3.9 stars on Amazon.com.

However, things aren’t always as they seem.

I ran the Amazon listing through my fake-review-spotter tool and found that “Unnatural reviews are possible.”

Membrane Integrity Factor potentially has fake reviews
Image: reviewmeta.com

And with only 6 reviews total, I don’t believe they can be trusted.

Especially this one…

Fake review of Membrane Integrity Factor

That just screams F.A.K.E.

But I did come across this next membrane integrity factor review that could be real.

He (or she) goes into detail about his sister using the product (which is weird), but then talks about his own experience using it.

He noticed an increase in energy while taking it… but doesn’t mention if he got any younger. 😉

A positive review for Membrane Integrity Factor

The reason it might be a real review is because he complains about the price and how it took 6+ months to start kicking in.

Finally, the product’s website has a full page of testimonials, but they are all 100% glowing, of course.

Membrane Integrity Factor FAQ’s

Anafuse FAQ's
flippingmath.wordpress.com

Who makes Membrane Integrity Factor?

That’s a great question.

On the official website’s ‘Contact’ page, they list a physical address in Oxnard, CA. But unfortunately, the “makers” of the product would rather remain anonymous.

Hmmm, wonder why.

But after a little investigative work, I was able to find the company behind membrane integrity factor.

Deep in their FAQ page, they say that customers can expect to see a charge from “Healthy Techniques” on their credit card statement.

So I looked ’em up.

Healthy Techniques is the maker of Membrane Integrity Factor

Nothing really to report here.

Just a low-budget website with a few products ranging from fat burners, to male sex enhancers, and even some gut health pills.

How do I use Membrane Integrity Factor?

They don’t say how to take the pills.

I imagine you take one pill in the morning with a meal. But I could be wrong.

I’m sure the instructions are on the label.

Are there any side effects with Membrane Integrity Factor?

Adderall comes with it's own side effects, like headache and nervousness
Image: emergency.com.au

There’s really no telling.

The company isn’t completely transparent about how much of which ingredients the pills contain.

But I do know that HGH is known to cause some side effects.

According to one study, “HGH recipients experienced a high rate of side effects, including fluid retention, joint pain, breast enlargement, and carpal tunnel syndrome.” (Source)

Is it safe to take?dangerous weight loss pills

Again, the company that makes membrane integrity factor doesn’t share the full ingredient profile.

This means we don’t know exactly what’s in the stuff.

Although it’s probably perfectly safe to take, I can’t say for certain one way or the other.

And that’s just the thing with these types of “scientific breakthrough” offers. They purposefully hide the ingredients. Why?

Because if people like me knew exactly what was in them, we could go point-by-point on just how ineffective the product is.

There’s a simple lesson to be learned… if they don’t list ingredients, you don’t buy.

Is it really anti-aging?

Is Membrane Integrity Factor really anti-aging?
Image: pinterest.com

No, despite the claims that Membrane Integrity Factor can “slow the aging process,” and sometimes “reverse it”… that’s just not reality.

The formula doesn’t contain anything that can achieve this.

Best-case-scenario from taking these so-called “anti-aging” pills is that your energy improves and maybe you begin to feel younger.

But don’t count on it.

Is it a scam?

Is Pharmacy RX One a scam?
Image: beststayhomejobs.com

Yes, I believe it is a scam.

Remember that WebMD article about how to spot an anti-aging scam?

Well, Membrane Integrity Factor didn’t exactly pass the test.

In fact, they failed miserably.

Sure they might look legit from the outside looking in.

I won’t lie, their sales page/website is pretty damn impressive.

But the claims just don’t hold water.

Membrane Integrity Factor is a scam

If you have to resort to lying to your potential customers to make a sale, your offer is “a dishonest scheme”… the very definition of a scam.

Where to buy it?

At this point, you probably don’t want to purchase these “anti-aging” pills.

And who could blame you?!

You probably don't want to buy Membrane Integrity Factor
Image: google.com/url

However, if you insist, you can buy Membrane Integrity Factor straight from the company’s website.

You can also get the product on Amazon.com, and other online retailers.

How much is it?

A one-month supply costs $52.49 straight from the manufacturer. If you buy on Amazon, you’re looking at about $70. That’s not cheap.

Membrane Integrity Factor costs about $55 for a one month supply

Is there a guarantee?

Yes… you can “buy with confidence,” as the company offers a 60-day 100% money-back guarantee with every membrane integrity factor purchase.

Membrane Integrity Factor offers a money-back guarantee

But notice how they change their tune here.

They market the product as an anti-aging pill, and explicitly claim that their product can essentially turn back the clock. But the guarantee says nothing about this — because they cannot guarantee it!

Recommendation

We’ve seen that Membrane Integrity Factor claims that it can slow the aging process and even reverse it, and help you to think more clearly.

But looking at the ingredients, we’ve highlighted all the ways that this cannot possibly be true.

The company lies in their marketing, saying that Dr. Nieper is the inventor of this anti-aging pill, and they’re far from transparent about their formula.

Anamax is filled with lies
Image: workplacepsychology.net

The price is pretty outrageous for what you get, the user reviews may or may not be authentic, and there is the possibility that the pill isn’t safe to take.

All in all, Membrane Integrity Factor is a text-book scam, so I cannot recommend the product.

It’s just another product that promises the world, but delivers very little.

You’re much better off trying a so-called anti-aging product that under-promises and over-delivers.

No, Terry Bradshaw Did NOT Use Alpha Titan, Alpha TRT, Or Verutum RX!

Did Terry Bradshaw Create Alpha Titan, Alpha TRT, or Verutum RX?

Fat Chance!

I had someone ask me just yesterday if I had ever heard of a supplement called Alpha Titan Testo.

Up until this point I didn’t, but I did take a quick look and determined that it was most likely a scam.

Then, today I get 3 separate emails from 3 individuals asking if I ever heard of a supplement called Alpha TRT.

That one I actually have a review of, and sent the people to it.

I asked them where they heard about it, and they told me there was some ad on some site that said he used it to ‘cure’ his ED.

The final nail in the coffin was when my developer sent me a message telling me he saw a Terry Bradshaw ad on a news site.

terry bradshaw cnn

Ok, clearly something is going on here.

I started digging a bit further, and that’s when I saw it:

terry bradshaw ed pill yahoo ad

This ad is plastered all over the Yahoo news home page, and when you click on it you’re seemingly led to a page that looks like CNN.

I say “seemingly” because in fact it is NOT the CNN website.

But first, a little bit about Terry.

Does Terry Bradshaw Really Have ED?

Throughout this entire article (link to it here so you can see the whole thing), they specifically mention that he came up with this magic formula that helps to cure ED.

They quote him as saying the following:

I have made my research and spoken to specialists and industry insiders about the topic.” Bradshaw mentioned on the show. “And they helped us create this productVerutum Rx.

And mate can I tell you, this stuff is VERY potent.

I’ve tried Viagra, I’ve tried Tadalafil, I’ve tried Cialis.Verutum Rxblows them all away.

First off, I highly doubt that he used the word ‘mate’. No one in the United States does that, unless they’re quoting a line from Crocodile Dundee.

https://www.supplementcritique.com/wp

Second, if you search for that exact quote on Google, an interesting thing happens.

terry bradshaw ed pill quote

A totally different site shows up.

When you click on that site, the entire article quotes Denzel Washington as saying the following:

“Dr. Phil and I have done our research, spoken to specialists and industry insiders.” Washington spoke when he guest appeared on the Dr. Phil’s Show.

“And they helped us create this product TestoRev.

And boy can I tell you, this stuff is potent!

I’ve triedViagra, I’ve triedRed Ginseng, I’ve triedCialis.TestoRev blows them all away.”

Here’s a screenshot:

So WTF is going on here?

I’m getting a bit ahead of myself, we’ll get back to this one later.

Anyway, on the subject of Terry Bradshaw and his ED-killing miracle cure, apparently the makers of Viagra and Cialis were furious.

I mean, who would want anyone cutting into their multi-billion dollar profits with some cure for ED, right?!

It went so far that the makers of Viagra / Cialis “called for his apology and removed him from Match Of The Day”.

match of the day

WTF is Match of the Day?

It sounds like some sort of sports show, but I’ve never heard of it here in the US.

Well, it turns out that Match of the Day is a show hosted on BBC.

I did a little digging, and it also turns out that Bradshaw has never even been on Match of the Day, much less hosted it!

In reality, this entire thing is a total sham guys. And I’m about to dissect it piece by piece.

https://www.supplementcritique.com/wp content/uploads/2018/11/redRed Flag #1– This is NOT the CNN website.

To the untrained eye, this looks like a legit news article.

There’s breaking news stories appearing on the left hand side of the page.

The CNN logo is displayed prominently at the top of the page.

fake verutum rx ad

The problem is, if you look closely at the url in the address bar, it should say CNN.com, right?

Well, it doesn’t.

tempting traders

Instead, it says tempting traders dot com, a completely different site.

No worries, maybe CNN was just testing out a new url or something, right?

https://www.supplementcritique.com/wp content/uploads/2018/11/redRed Flag #2– The Terry Bradshaw ‘Good Morning America’ Interview

In the first paragraph of this “news article”, the author specifically mentions that Terry Bradshaw was on Good Morning America talking about his new ED product.

What is the name of that product?

Well, that depends on the day you’re looking at it.

One day it’s Verutum RX.

https://www.supplementcritique.com/wp content/uploads/2018/11/verutum rx fake

The next day it’s Alpha TRT.

fake alpha trt ad

And just this morning it was Alpha Titan Testo.

alpha titan fake ad

So which one is it?

Well, I looked for the episode of where Terry Bradshaw was on Good Morning America, and the only one I could find was this one.

https://www.supplementcritique.com/wp content/uploads/2018/11/terry bradshaw on good morning

I (painfully) watched the entire thing, and there was no mention of Verutum RX, no mention of Alpha TRT, and no mention of Alpha Titan Testo.

I’m gonna go into a ton more detail tomorrow on how this whole thing is a complete scam, but I’m really tired right now.

Check back by the end of the day and I’ll have the full scoop available!

Until then, I hope it is clear that people are the internet can and will go to whatever lengths that they are willing to go to and sell you on their product, even if it means lying about and imposing false endorsements on celebs who were none the wiser.

It is a common practice and this site alone has documented a slew of similar cases of scamming supplement companies.

Frequently Asked Questions

Let’s face it.

There’s more responsibility and pressure to succeed than ever before.

And it can be hard to juggle everything without the help of a little pick-me-up.

Traditionally, coffee was the go-to for energy and focus.

But for some people, a strong cup of Joe just doesn’t cut it.

For others, they hate the intense caffeine crash that’s inevitable once the buzz wears off.

With most pick me-me-ups that you will find out there, there is some sort of a trade off or dip in quality with continued us, i.e. tolerance, that you can expect over time.

So naturally, folks are on the hunt for something that packs a little more punch in the energy department, but doesn’t leave them wanting to nap in their cubicle.

But does that something even exist?

The folks at MDrive say it does.

I first found out about MDrive Workforce pills while browsing the aisles of my local CVS.

Workforce Pills for energy are sold at CVS

At first I thought they were an erectile dysfunction pill.

I mean, they’re located in the ED section right next to supplements like Libido Max, Zyrexin, and Ageless Male.

It also says right there on the label “Engineered for Power Now and Power Later.”

But it turns out to be a pill made for stamina and energy.

So I had to buy a box and give ’em a whirl.

After all, I’m just like you… always on the lookout for a supplement that’ll optimize my performance — mentally, physically, and even emotionally.

In this review, you’re going to learn exactly what you need to know about Workforce pills.

The ingredients they contain, the side effects, if they work and how they work, and where to get them for the best price.

So let’s dive in.

What are Workforce Pills?

Mdrive Workforce pills are made for energy and stamina
MDrive Workforce Pills

There’s a HUGE demand for energy pills that actually work.

While I don’t know the exact statistics, there’s probably millions of Americans who are looking for a certain edge on their day (and life!) they can only get from a supplement.

I mean, who wants to be chugging Redbull and Monster energy drinks all day anyway?

We know the catastrophic effects these can have on our health. (Source)

So MDrive (which is technically DreamBrands) came out with a pill that is unabashedly marketed toward men, and claims to deliver the energy, stamina, and drive needed for life.

MDrive Workforce energy pills label

But there’s something that really intrigued me about this energy pill. Can you spot it?

It’s something that definitely sets it apart from many I’ve seen and tested.

Yup… in addition to energy, stamina, and drive, it also claims it’ll improve your sexual health while supporting the maintenance of healthy testosterone levels too!

Even the product video oozes testosterone…

mdrive workforce youtube video

Is it claiming it’s a T-booster? Nope!

And that’s why I like it.

There’s a million products on the market that promise a boost in the ol’ testosterone.

But guess what, 99% of them FAIL at doing so.

Even from the start, Workforce pills weren’t making empty promises.

They simply say their formula can help maintain t-levels.

Alright, moving along.

Here are the claimed benefits of this energy pill:

  • All day energy booster
  • Health testosterone levels
  • Increased energy, stamina, and drive
  • Reduced stress and cortisol levels
  • Supports energy and endurance

But how exactly will this product deliver these results?

Does it contain the individual ingredients necessary for energy, stamina, drive, sexual health, and healthy testosterone levels?

Or is it just another well-marketed product that falls flat?

Let’s have a look.

What are the ingredients in MDrive Workforce pills?

https://www.supplementcritique.com/wp content/uploads/2018/11/91mykrg1fsl._sl1500_

Workforce pills come in capsules, and each capsule contains the following vitamins: Vitamin D3, Vitamin B12, and Zinc.

Then you’ve got a good dose of extended-release ZumXR caffeine — 150 mgs of the stuff — which the company says will give you “sustained energy.”

“ZumXR uses a unique technology with specific coating materials that control the release of caffeine over 6 hours allowing for a more sustained energy experience without the crash.” –MDrive Workforce

Workforce capsules are extended release for sustained energy
Image: mdriveformen.com

I believe it.

I’ve taken caffeine in extended-release capsules before, and it’s MUCH better than downing a cup of coffee (approx. 95 mg of caffeine).

It doesn’t give you the jitters, the heart-pounding sensation, or the crash.

Alright, we know the ingredient will give us a kick in the pants when it comes to energy and stamina, but what about those other benefits they claim?

Namely sexual health and testosterone maintenance?

Low testosterone in men
Effects of low testosterone.

For that we have to dig into their proprietary T-Force Blend.

An 800mg blend of the following ingredients:

  • KSM-66 Ashwagandha Extract
  • LJ100 Eurycoma Longifolia Extract
  • PrimaVie Shilajit Extract

Click Here for an image of the label.

Let’s briefly break down these ingredients to see how they work to promote sexual health and healthy t-levels.

Ashwagandha extract

According to WebMD, this plant has many uses, “But so far, there isn’t enough information to judge whether it is effective for any of them.”

Ahwagandha is included in the list of ingredients for Libido Max For Women
Image: rareseeds.com

Not so fast, WebMD.

There are legit studies that have found Ashwagandha to be effective in increasing sperm count, sperm motility, and “significantly” increasing testosterone levels in men. (Sources: 1, 2)

In fact, researchers discoveredthe following (rather impressive) results:

“Ashwagandha [users] had significantly greater increases in muscle strength on the bench-press exercise and the leg-extension exercise, and significantly greater muscle size increase at the arms and chest.”

Bottom line, Ashwagandha works.

Especially for “maintaining healthy testosterone levels” as Workforce claims to do.

Eurycoma Longifolia

https://www.supplementcritique.com/wp content/uploads/2018/11/untitled

Now the fun part… the part where I get to talk about sexual health. And what better ingredient to help lead the way than Eurycoma Longifolia (aka Tongkat Ali, aka Longjack)?!

According to one study, this “promising” flowering plant from Asia has been researched for the way it may manage“various male sexual disorders, which include erectile dysfunction, male infertility, low libido, and down-regulated testosterone levels.” (Source)

And check it out… after several clinical trials, researchers landed on this summary:

“There is convincing evidence for the prominence of EL [Eurycoma Longifolia] in improving the male sexual health.”

Bam!

But for as much as Eurycoma helps in the sexual department, it pretty much fails in boosting testosterone in healthy men (Source).

But that’s alright— and that’s exactly why MDrive included a healthy dose of our good friend Ashwagandha in their Workforce pills.

If you’re tracking, so far we’ve found evidence that Workforce pills are effective for the following:

  • Energy
  • Stamina
  • Healthy Testosterone
  • Sexual Health.

Which brings us to the last ingredient…

PrimaVie Shilajit Extract

https://www.supplementcritique.com/wp content/uploads/2018/11/untitled

This is a trademarked form of purified Shilajit.

You’re probably scratching your head and asking, “Now what in the tarnation is Shilajit?!” So here’s a quick rundown.

Fulvic acid is the active agent in this substance that can be found in the Himalayas.

According to one study, this natural substance “is in essence a nutraceutical” with potential benefits for improving cognition and preventing Alzheimer’s disease.

However, “more investigations at the basic biological level are necessary [to prove its effectiveness], and certainly well-developed clinical trials…” (Source)

Though Shilajit needs further research to prove its cognitive benefits, it has undergone clinical trials for its testosterone-boosting benefits (not that Workforce needs any more t-booster in its formula).

Researchers have found that “Treatment with Shilajit for consecutive 90 days revealed that it has significantly increased total testosterone, free testosterone and dehydroepiandrosterone (DHEAS) compared with placebo.” (Source)

I have to say that (so far) I am pleasantly surprised and impressed by the forethought that went into this energy supplement.

The makers of the product definitely approached this pill with methodic intention and vision.

Kudos MDrive.

My Personal Results

https://www.supplementcritique.com/wp content/uploads/2018/11/91mykrg1fsl._sl1500_

So as I stated earlier, I actually got a chance to try out MDrive WorkForce pills personally, and I have to admit I’m a bit impressed with the results!

The directions on the label state that you should take 2 capsules in the morning with food.

Normally I have about 1 1/2 cups of coffee in the morning.

Since MDrive Workforce already contains a decent amount of caffeine, I decided to skip it completely.

While they do state that it’s preferable to take it with food, I’ve personally noticed that stimulants just don’t work one a full stomach.

If they do, the effect is very little.

I figured I would take 1 capsule, wait about 30 minutes, and then take the second capsule.

This would give me the chance to lessen any potential side effects, if any.

I will say this, and that is the pills are huge!

MDrive Workforce pills

So big in fact that you might want to considering opening up the capsule and dropping the contents into a glass of water.

What kind of effect did it have on energy?

https://www.supplementcritique.com/wp content/uploads/2018/11/91mykrg1fsl._sl1500_

As I originally suspected (and they claimed), MDrive WorkForce doesn’t come on too strong like a traditional caffeine pill would.

I could feel the initial effects start to kick in after about 15 minutes.

However, one pill was just not enough, so down the hatch went another pill.

After about 45 minutes, I had sort of an energetic calm fall over me.

It was more of a mental energy rather than a physical one, which was fine by me.

I didn’t notice any hard crash at the end of the day, another pleasant surprise.

All in all, I would rate the energy-producing effects a 4.5 out of 5 stars.

What kind of effect did it have on stamina and drive?

https://www.supplementcritique.com/wp content/uploads/2018/11/91mykrg1fsl._sl1500_

I’m only 37 years old, and I don’t normally suffer from any sort of erection problems.

With that said, for the first week I have to admit I didn’t notice much.

I might have felt a little bit more stamina, but it wasn’t anything mind-blowing.

It wasn’t until about the end of week 2 that I noticed any sort of effect on stamina.

It’s a hard thing to quantify, but I could sense that my erection quality just felt better overall.

I felt like I could last longer than usual, and I also seemed to notice random mid-day boners popping up out of nowhere.

Was it the result of the MDrive Workforce pills?

In my estimation, most likely.

All in all, I would rate the stamina / sex drive producing effects at 4 out of 5 stars.

User reviews

Overall, the user reviews for MDrive Workforce are very positive.

They get a relatively solid 3.7 stars on Amazon.

And I know the reviews are real.

I ran them through a couple of fake-review-detector tools… and they passed with flying colors.

The MDrive Workforce user reviews are authentic and real
Image: reviewmeta.com

So what are the reviews saying about Workforce?

Well, one guy who runs a lot praises the pill for the slow-release benefits and for not tearing up his gut like coffee or other energy boosters do.

He also likes the fact that it doesn’t give him the jitters.

A positive user review for Workforce energy pills

Another fellow says “no jitters, no crash, just awesomeness.” He was able to kick his energy drink habit when he found out just how well Workforce worked for him.

But just like the reviewer above, this guy wants vegetable-based capsules, not the current gelatin ones. (You listening, MDrive?!)

Good user review of MDrive Workforce energy

And finally, the last review I want to touch on really focuses on how the pill gave him energy without the crazy side effects.

He even shared it with a colleague on a long business trip who has since become an “advocate” for Workforce pills.

People seem to really like the effects of Workforce energy pills

Those who didn’t like the product mostly complained of it not having any effect on them.

And one reviewer said it flagged in a drug test… which is hard to believe, as the ingredients in this formula are all-natural.

MDrive Workforce pills FAQ’s

Who makes M Drive Workforce?

https://www.supplementcritique.com/wp content/uploads/2018/11/91mykrg1fsl._sl1500_

The makers of MDrive Workforce energy and testosterone pills is actually a company called DreamBrands.

Are they legit?

Yes and no.

I’ve personally used many of their brands, including MDrive Elite.

However, some of the claims on their site are a bit concerning. For example, on the MDrive About Us page, they specifically state that their CEO Gary S.

Kehoe was the inventor of Zicam.

did gary kehoe invent zicam

If you’re not already aware, Zicam is a line of OTC cold remedies that claim to shorten the duration of a cold.

With that said, a simple google search reveals that he in fact did not invent Zicam.

Apparently it was invented by Charles B.

Hensely and Robert Davidson in the mid 1990’s. (Source)

So this begs the question, “Why lie about something so trivial like that?”

Anyway, Kehoe and his business partner have advanced degrees from Ivy League schools like Stanford and Harvard.

On the company’s official website, they say…

“Our entire product line is conceptualized and formulated at our headquarters in Arizona.

Each of our premium products are manufactured in the southwestern United States.”

What are these products they speak of?

Well, in addition to Workforce, they currently make and market 4 other supplements.

These supplements are called Weekend Warrior, Refind Your Prime, Fat Burner, and Elite Performance.

They really seem to care about the science behind their products, and even include a full-page dedicated to scientific studies.

Oh, and the folks at DreamBrands sponsor a team of elite athletes, too.

How do I take MDrive Workforce?

https://www.supplementcritique.com/wp

According to the label, you take 2 capsules of Workforce in the morning preferably with food.

Use it only when you want a boost in energy and stamina… this isn’t one of those products that has to remain in your system to work.

MDrive Workforce Recommendation

I’m all about this product.

Workforce gave me a noticeable increase in energy throughout the day, and even improved my erections.

It’s a nice blend of a testosterone booster and caffeine pill.

The formula is a pretty solid, with just enough caffeine (extended-release!) and all-natural herbs to help maintain healthy levels of testosterone and even boost sexual health.

If you are not a fan of the strong and pronounced effects that caffeine has in most forms, the extended-release presence of caffeine in Workforce might be more your speed.

The reviews are overwhelmingly positive, the price is right at about $27, its safe to take, and for good measure, the company offers a 60-day money-back guarantee.

DreamBrands is dedicated to putting out quality products without the usual hype that’s so prevalent in this industry. And that’s exactly what I found so appealing about MDrive Workforce.

Needless to say, I recommend it, and I’m gonna continue taking these energy pills into the foreseeable future.
