My personal experiences with Adderall and Addieup
I’ve used Adderall a hand full of times, and the effects were great. I got a ton more done in half the time, and it made me much more productive, focused, and alert. The downside was after some time I started to develop somewhat of a tolerance to it, and it started to work less and less. I also noticed a few odd side effects like my eye twitching, decreased appetite, and i felt kind of irritable at times.
With Addieup, I noticed the same effects as Adderall as far as the concentration and focus, but it seemed like it only lasted half the time. While adderall seemed to start working in about an hour, it seemed like it took Addieup a bit longer to kick in, say more like 2 hours. Keep in mind that I only typically use one pill on an empty stomach, even though the directions call for 2 capsules.
As far as the side effects with Addieup, the only one I noticed was sinus pressure, which seemed to go away in a few hours. I didn’t get that “zombie like” experience like you get with stimulant meds, and I had no trouble sleeping that night.
Recommendation
As far as my recommendation, Addieup works very similarly to Adderall, Ritalin, and Vyvanse, but obviously there is no REAL substitute for prescription medication. But if your looking for something all natural that can work similarly to adderall, Addieup just might be worth it.

Labeled as an all natural nootropic supplement, Phenibut XT is intended to help promote relaxation, support your overall mood, and induce restful sleep. It does this through the use of only one ingredient that goes by the same name. The chemical compound is officially called beta-phenyl-gamma-aminobutyric, which is actually a derivative of the naturally occuring inhibitory neurotransmitter GABA.
One capsule of Phenibut XT contains 500 mg, and typical daily doses can go as high as 2000 mg (4 capsules), although it’s recommended you start off with one pill to assess your tolerance.
Since I take alot of nootropics that have stimulants in them, I noticed I was having difficulty sleeping at night. I would often lie awake for hours after turning the lights off, and some nights I would wake up several times. I tried taking a wide variety of sleep aids, and while they would often put me to sleep easily, I would often wake up the next day feeling groggy and tired throughout the day.
When I saw that Phenibut XT was a nootropic supplement that helped to support restful sleep, I figured why not give it a shot. Since I’ve never taken phenibut before, I decided to take 1 capsule (500mg / .5 g) around 7:30 pm, which is about 3 1/2 hours before my usual bedtime. I “feel” as though I started feeling the effects within the first 15 min., but that might have been a placebo effect.
About an hour into it I had a “slight” dizzy / light headed feeling when I got up too fast, but that quickly wore off. I did start to notice I felt very calm and relaxed, but not to the point where I was drowsy or falling asleep (which, I might add, is very difficult to NOT do in my giant recliner). A few hours later I made my way upstairs and started reading a book.
Within about 10 minutes I started to get pretty tired and decided to turn in for the night. If I had to guess, it took me about 15 min. to fall asleep but I ended up waking up once through the night (around 3 am) to take a piss. I fell back asleep with no problems, and woke up feeling great. However, about 3 hours later I started to hit a wall and got pretty tired/foggy. I decided to up the dosage the next night to 2 capsules.
On the 2nd day, I decided to take 1 capsule at around 5:30 pm on an empty stomach. Mind you I was in sort of a bad mood for most of the day, feeling mostly sluggish and unable to get any work done. About an hour after taking it I noticed a significant improvement in my mood, and overall just felt more relaxed. It felt like it was starting to wear off about 3 hours after taking that first capsule, so I decided to take another one at around 8:30.
Keep in mind that the “supposed” half-life for Phenibut is about 5 hours, which basically means every 5 hours the supplements potency is cut in half.
The “feel good” feeling returned and this time stuck around for much longer. I went to bed around 11:30 pm and ended up waking around 8:30 am, and I gotta say I felt GREAT! The effects seemed to last through most of the day without even taking another pill, which was a plus.
I decided to take another 2 capsules later on that evening and felt the same effects. At this point I was down to 1 pill, and figured it probably wouldn’t do much to take it so I decided to just let it wear off and see if there was any come down effects. Surprisingly, I didn’t feel any major crash or anything, and my mood was pretty well enhanced for most of the weekend.
Phenibut XT Vs. Other Brands
I’ve been testing out a lot of different brands of Phenibut to see which one works the best. In theory, they should all work the same, right? Well, what I noticed was some brands worked great, while others I got practically no effect.
One recent one I tried is sold by a company called AbsorbYourHealth.com. They specialize in selling a wide variety of nootropic supplements, and have a GREAT reputation of providing high quality products.
I gave it a shot and the effects we TREMENDOUSLY different when compared to Phenibut XT. Because it is sold in powder form instead of capsules, you’re able to control the dose a bit more accurately then with the capsules of phenibut xt.
Sure, you can break open the capsules, but if you don’t have a scale it’s tough to estimate how much you’re taking. AbsorbYourHealth.com includes a small 500 mg scoop with all their orders, so it’s a bit easier to eyeball how much you’re taking.
So, originally when I posted this review, I had only decided to take the supplement for a total of 3 days, which is close to the manufacturers recommendation of a 5 days on, 2 days off cycle. After casually reading through some other forums out there about using Phenibut XT for an extended period of time, I decided to try a 10 day long experiment.
Now, I realize this is against Phenibut XT’s recommendation, as was evident by the warning on the label.
but other users were reporting better nootropic success with a longer duration of supplementation.
This time around I started off with a 500 mg dose first thing in the morning on an empty stomach. I waited about an hour before I ate anything and took another capsule about 3 hours later. Later on in the evening (I guess around 6 pm or so), I took another 500 mg. I actually did this for about 3 days straight, and the nootropic effects were ENORMOUS.
I got a great nights sleep and felt invigorated in the morning, but I also felt a HUGE surge in productivity and focus. I felt like I could accomplish very mundane tasks in a very short period of time, and often happily doing work I would normally consider very boring. However, this is when the comedown started to kick in…
When I first started taking Phenibut XT I didn’t realize the full withdrawal potentials, until now. Here I am, about 10 days in and 18 total grams consumed, and I feel freakin weird, mainly in a bad way. I’ve decided I’m going to go cold-turkey off of this stuff, which from all the research I’ve been doing is probably the best way to go. I took one full dose (one pill) on an empty stomach.
I noticed that it started working much faster than 30 minutes, I would say it took effect within 20 minutes.
Some slight side effects also occurred within the 20 minutes.
My nose got stuffy and myeyes became a little red and felt swollen, but no pain.
The product did exactly what it claims to do.
I was able to last much longer than normal.
Also, I noticed that my heart rate stayed at normal pace, no palpitations.
After the first night of intercourse I also was able to perform the same as the night.
Day 2: Testing Super Hard Pills on a full stomach
Taking 1 dose of the product after a normal meal had no effect on the performance of the pill.
It took approximately 35 – 40 minutes to actually start feeling the product start to work.
